Nice location, with nice facilities included durring the stay. Staff is friendly, place has huge potential, but more clean, more new. Nice restaurant, sauna, jacuzzi. Good view. Great potential.

A little bit more attention on the cleaning and for the guests. Some things have to be removed. Place looks old, and some things need to be replaced. Rooms need to be renovated for the stars the hotel has. Looks 2 star hotel actually. And second: As far as I've seen in the comments, it is true about the constant change of the rooms. You almost never get the same room that you ordered, and receive a different kind of room. Also, have to mention the tax for tourists and deposit before planning your trip. So these details, I consider very important.

I am upset about 1 important point, we came to Montreux and Vevey area for seeing the museums saps and I bought the tickets for Alimentarium, Chaplin’s world and Callier House in advance. whereas I learned that the riviera card was a complementary gift at the check in to the hotel. As I bought the tickets in advance I am now at a disadvantage of 100CHF in total. I wish this information was provided in booking.com in advance. I wouldn’t like to lose this amount of money in such a way. Although I asked the museum entrances later they didn’t accept my claim so I can’t get a refund

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel overall. Check-in takes place at a nearby sister property, just a short distance away, which was very smooth and not an issue at all. This neighboring hotel also provides access to the spa facilities, including a sauna, swimming pool, and hammam—all exceptionally well-maintained and enjoyable. The staff was attentive and welcoming, and the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, making for a truly relaxing stay. I loved everything about my time here.

The only minor issue was that I requested a plate and spoon from the reception, intending to use them to eat in my room. The receptionist assured me these would be brought to my room, which was no problem at all. However, when I checked back several hours later, I was told there would be a charge for the items, which hadn’t been mentioned earlier. I decided not to use them after all and said I didn’t need them if there was a fee. The receptionist agreed, but the items were not removed from my room. I didn’t use or pay for them, but I found it slightly confusing that they remained there. Aside from this small detail, I truly enjoyed my stay. Thank you very much for such a lovely experience!

The staff was exceptionally helpful, really kind and made my check-in and check-out experience amazing. I would definitely return to this place. Overall, Villa Toscane is perfect value for money. I wish i would have tried the breakfast but i didn't get the chance to. I did however go to the bar which had an amazing cocktail on the menu and the serving was to the same high standard. 10/10 would return again.

Very hard to say something that i didn't like and to be honest, the only thing i have in mind is a really minor inconvenience, which is that the usb charger in the room didn't work. But i had an adapter so it was no big deal at all.

Really clean and comfortable room. I was in a small single room but still enough space to move around. Being linked to the Royal Plaza worked really well and it was nice having access to all the facilities whilst paying more affordable prices for the bedroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location for getting access to lake-side with only a short walk to Montreux centre.

I was in room 441. There was access to the roof terrace from the room but if people were using the terrace I felt uncomfortable as they were right outside my window. In addition, I could not leave the window or patio doors open during the night (for security and I was a woman on her own) so the room was lacking ventilation at night. Finally, I think the fridge wasn't working properly as it didn't cool down the things I put in it very effectively and it was emitting heat into the room which during a very hot period of weather made it difficult to cool down.

Everything went well. Staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, the views were wonderful at the main hotel across the street and the restaurants/bars in the hotel were very good.

The actual hotel rooms were a little vanilla but clean. Everything was pretty expensive but I think that's more to do with Switzerland than the hotel. The only issue I had was with the spa. At the time I went down there, there was nobody at the spa desk and towels were very low. The place seemed clean though.

The location was excellent. We had 3 rooms, and all were very spacious. One bathroom was small, but everything worked. The beds were huge, and really comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We ate at the restaurant one night, and enjoyed our meal. We felt that we got value for money compared with other options that we looked at.

Although reception, the spa and eating areas were across the road, in a sister hotel, it didn’t matter at all.

Everything was fine until they ask us for something we didn’t like about our stay. We told them in other hotels 2-3-4 stars they offers water bottle everyday of our stay for each one as a complimentary. They didn’t like the comment and they start to be rude. -the guy and the lady- Good thing we were checking out because Honestly nobody needs an attitude. That was a bad taste in a beautiful days in Montreux

The villa is attached to the Plaza Royal which was running a cafe, bar and restaurant late and had underground parking (for 40SF per night). The staff at the reception there were really helpful and the location was perfect

The villa does not have anything other than a vending machine, and we missed the strict meal times art the restaurant over the road at the Royal Plaza - our fault for staying up until 2 am at the Jazz Festival

Lovely spacious rooms, with high ceilings, and plenty of windows/day light. Centrally located. Access to the 5* Hotel over the road to use the spa.

Whilst this is not strictly feedback for Villa Toscane, and rather for the 5* hotel across the road, we found the 30 CHF pp warm breakfast to be limited in variety and not the best quality produce you'd expect when paying 30 CHF, e.g. the orange juice was from concentrate, food was pretty average. Other than the breakfast we dont have a bad word to say
