The quality of bed and breakfasts in which we stayed was a highlight of our trip. Sorrento Maison Luro was conveniently located and did not require a long walk up a hill. The room was immaculate, and the bathroom was huge by European standards--bigger then the bathrooms in many hotels we have stayed in. Luigi clearly takes pride in his property, and his enthusiasm for hosting was evident. He prepared our breakfast daily and was happy to help us arrange tours in the area. I have been recommending this property to anyone who is going to the Amalfi Coast, so book it if you are thinking about it.

I can think of nothing that might need improvement. It would have been nice to use the pool, but we were there in early November, so it was understandably closed.

Maison Lurò is just a few minutes walk into the heart of Sorrento, the high quality breakfasts included excellent coffee, fresh local fruits and all-round choice, and the room is spotlessly cleaned every day. Luigi ensures you have everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable and memorable, offering an incredibly warm welcome. He particularly made sure to look after me as a vegan guest, as well as providing pre-arrival information and support to get the best out of our holiday, so I am genuinely grateful. In short, we would love to go back.

Absolutely everything!! From check-in to checkout we had an amazing time, our room was beautiful, very modern, spacious and the cleanest that we have stayed in throughout our 3 weeks in Italy! Our host Luigi is a gentleman. He went above and beyond for us, he helped with directions and was very informative about the surrounding area. The rooms are located in the perfect spot just a short walk to Sorrento's main street so we had the best of both sides to the town. We had a beautiful balcony which we had a gorgeous breakfast on thanks to Luigi! It really was a 5 star stay, we wish we could stay longer!

Nothing everything was wonderful!!

The property is located just outside of the heart of the town, an easy walk (with 2 young kiddies!) and a supermarket on the way there/back if needed, which was just lovely. Maison Luro is a room within an apartment block, primarily used for local residents. We very much liked being amongst the locals and had an opportunity to use our 'pigeon' Italian! The onsite pool was a gem and we enjoyed it most days of our trip (the highlight for our 8 and 6 year olds!). Breakfast was delivered on a little trolley each morning by Luigi, the host. He is a very lovely man and made us feel most welcome. He even treated us to some local delicacies after we'd made a passing comment about them, told us about local events and introduced us to some of his family :)

It would have been great to have a larger fridge with a freezer drawer. We had to be creative fitting in our waters, Peroni's, cheeses and prosecco! It would also have been lovely to have a coffee machine, or a cafetiere...that said, there was a great little cafe around the corner (1 minute walk at most) so we nipped out to get a decent espresso/cappa during the day! A little more variation on the breakfast choices would also have been nice, but the super fresh croissants and fruit each morning were a definite highlight of our stay :)

This bed and breakfast is amazing. Not only is the location exceptional and at the centre of Sorrento, it is also owned and managed by the most amazing; Luigi. Luigi would always ensure we're looked after and happy. He ensured our breakfast was on time and was always very happy and positive to help. We had a situation in which our luggage was lost by our airline and Luigi was really helpful in making sure we get the luggage back. Our room itself was always clean and we felt extremely comfortable. I would suggest anyone going to Sorrento, to book your stay with Luigi at the Sorrento Maison Lurò.

Luigi was a fantastic host! He started communicating with us the day before our visit, gave us easy directions to the accommodations, allowed us to check in as soon as we arrived so that we didn’t have to stow our luggage, showed us all the features of the room and provided a detailed map with recommendations for restaurants, shopping, laundry etc. The room and bathroom were spacious and very clean - providing everything you needed to make your stay comfortable. The screens on the balcony and bathroom door were a plus since the mosquitos were bad during our trip. Luigi brought a most delicious breakfast each morning (we had many options to choose from) and set it up on the balcony for us - very nice touch! The location is great - just a short walk to shopping, restaurants, the port, the marina and the train station. We really enjoyed our stay in Sorrento and would definitely stay at Sorrento Maison Luro again if we get back to the area!

Luigi our host was wonderful! Our daughter arrived separate and earlier than my wife and I. Luigi, saw to it that she could gain access to the B&B (just not the room). This was very nice! Part of the amenities was a pool. Nice to use during the Summer mid-day heat. Breakfast was served by Luigi personally. Everything was a short walk away, for not being in the heart it's a convenient short walk to city center! Location, price (value) and space were big factors in our choice to stay at Sorrento Maison Lurò. We enjoyed our time at Sorrento Maison Lurò! If we venture back to Sorrento, This is a no brainer for us.

Pool closes daily mid afternoon for maintenance. But there is a wonderful outdoor space to rest in. Otherwise I/we have no other concerns. We loved our stay.

We loved the host Luigi, he was very accommodating and was very helpful. The room was spacious for a family of four and the location was great!

While the host does a great job with the breakfast in the morning, however, the timing is restrictive. You have to order your breakfast from a limited menu, the day before. Then the delivery of the bfast has to happen between 8-9:15am and the mornings that we were there, that was just too early. But we took delivery of the food and coffee and by the time you sit down to have it, everything is cold, including the coffee and no way to re-heat. The pool area and the pool were nice but they are pretty strict about how it is used. Everyone must wear caps swim caps, which they provide and everyone must shower before entering, which I don’t mind. But the swim cap thing was a bit annoying at times.

Everything was wonderful. The property is delightful in decor and impeccably clean. It’s in a great location for seeing the sights of Sorrento but also for shopping, laundry and transport. But the real bonus is Luigi. The owner. He couldn’t do enough to make our stay unforgettable. Every morning delivering our breakfast to our balcony, helping with all our sightseeing needs and even arranging our transportation at the end of our stay. There are many gems to be seen in Sorrento, the blue grotto of Capri, the amazing sights of Amalfi and Positano, the gastronomic joys of the Neapolitan restaurants and of course Luigi. Thoroughly recommend a visit to Maison Luro.

The property was wonderful. Will definitely be looking to come back and visit with our new lifelong friend Luigi.

The breakfast was amazing. Luigi brought fruit, fresh croissants, coffee, juice, etc to eat on the balcony each morning. Bathroom is big, totally updated and showers are nice. Central location to everything, which is a walking distance to the train, main Square, 5 min walk down the hill to watch the sunset, and also 15 min walk to the Ferry. Luigi gave us the information on how to get the ferry to Capri and then which boat company to us to see the Blue Grotto. That was a great because it was crowded and some boats didn't stay. He also helped with how to get to Pompeii and several restaurants in the area. I would highly recommend and would stay here again.

The pillows were harder than what we are used to in the States, but all in all it was fine.
