The environment/decor of the place, convenient location travelling towards Bilbao, the swimming pool, sunbathing area, easy parking and above all, the food. Absolutely fantastic, so glad we booked half board. Restaurant staff very nice. Overall a great experience. Great aircon and the private terrace was great. I would definitely stay again.

Bathroom was not that clean. Upon entry we noticed some hairs and some sort of top or lid from the previous customers. It would be more environmentally friendly to have soap dispensers rather than individual bottles. No shower curtain so no other choice but to splash the door. I would of appreciated a fridge in the room (although all sorted with reception)

Very nice hotel...the staff was polite and friendly. I booked on the wrong date and made another booking for my stay dates, and though the booking was non refundable, hotel staff proactively helped me to cancel without any charge. However booking.com was no help in this case. Besides that, the hotel is very tastefully made and a good Overnight halt if you are traveling from northern Spain to Barcelona or Cadaques. We have paid a fortune for many inferior hotels in Spain.

Only recommendation is to have a shower in the toilet as well...the bath tub is good for leisure but not practical.

The room I requested was located at the back of the hotel away from the motorway, it was very quiet. The room was large with a comfortable bed. Good shower with plenty of hot water. Nice bar area and reasonably priced drinks. The restaurant is light and airy and the menu of the day was very good. The breakfast provided had hot and cold dishes and plenty of choice for everyone. A particular mention to the girl who was serving behind the bar who spoke a little English and came into the dining room to help us translate the dinner menu. I would definitely stay here again.

The garden is beautiful but the only very small downside is that you can hear the motorway which is the other side of a large brick wall.

Evening meal was excellent, the menu allowed for all tastes from the heavy hitter meat eaters to the vegetarians. Breakfast was also excellent with a good selection. The room was comfortable and the general ambience of the hotel, with charming decor and great character, added to a very comfortable stay. All the staff were most pleasant, helpful and courteous. I was travelling with an L3 H3 Van and I was very pleased to find a safe area to park it. This was a perfect stopover for anyone headed north from the Costa Blanca, in particular to the ferry in Santander or Bilbao.

Couldn't find anything to criticise, it is however a self contained unit. Thus it could pose problems if you did not participate in the excellent dinner and breakfast which were both great value for money.

Just off the highway and perfect for one stop. Restaurant. Bar all day. Outdoor seating area. It was ok. Bed was hard but that wasn’t the issue. It was the constant smell of smoke in the room and not from us. I hate that😡. Otherwise it is a pleasant stay. Breakfast was great. Eggs. Bacon. Sausages and the other usual Spain style breakfast

Smoking from other rooms filled our room. We had a balcony so couldn’t leave door open for fresh air as neighbours are very close. Room stuffy without door open and air con sounded like it was an air jet ready to take off

Location was excellent, close to the main road but shielded enough to not be bothered by any noise, hotel clean and good selection on the menu in the restaurant for diner and breakfast. Staff very friendly and the basic suite that we had was well laid out, clean and comfortable.

Nothing every thing was good, there could of been a problem as the breakfast room was not to opening until 9.00am in the morning as it was the weekend but we needed to have breakfast at 8.00am to fit in with our travel plans and the hotel obliged and they started breakfast at 8.00 for us and several others.

Good breakfast, staff were very pleasant throughout. Room was a little late being prepared but not a big problem for us. The food is the restaurant was very good. There was a slight problem in that I had booked half board but the hotel restaurant does not open on a Sunday night. The staff were very accomodating and we ate lunch in the restaurant instead of having dinner in the evening. Parking available.

I messaged the hotel to try and claify the half board situation as it does say in the hotel details that the restaurant is closed on a Sunday night. Unfortunately no response so had to resolve on arrival which was easily resolved by speaking to the reception staff. Some public areas look a bit tired, the stair carpet for one. If you want to walk to a bar/restaurant/sights then this is not the hotel for you.

Overall it was good value for a 6 night stay in a modern castle. There was plenty of parking available and I found the semi-rural location ideal for walking and cycling as well as convenient for day visits to Zaragoza.

It was probably my fault for not asking, however I found the dinner & evening meal arrangements a little confusing. Perhaps could do with more information adding to the room cards.

Room was large and spacious. Décor was a little bright but fine for one night. There were plenty of towels and bathrobes. Very east to find and plenty of free parking. Restaurant was very good and food all felt freshly made.

Being so close to main highway was a little noisy in the early morning.

The hotel is well placed for a stay when travelling through Spain. It is convenient for the motorway and petrol station next door. The all inclusive price for room, breakfast and dinner at a reasonable cost is excellent. The room was clean and comfortable and there are lifts to the upper floors. Breakfast and dinner were very good and plentiful.

During our visit not many of the staff spoke English. Not much of a problem but sometimes awkward. Don't seem to go in for pillows only a bolster.
