The complimentary breakfast exceeded expectation: fresh fruit, sausage, pancakes, biscuits, cereal bar, and fresh scrambled eggs. In addition, they offered boiled eggs and free drinks all day, coffee, tea, and orange juice. The staff programmed a welcome message with my name on the T.V. in my room. The room itself was neat, the bed was comfortable, and did I mention the room was super clean! I would definitely stay again! The receptionist who checked me in went over and beyond with customer service .

The rooms were not as big as I prefer but there was a small place to hang your clothes, near the ironing board. The bathroom is roomy and super clean. I prefer bright lights. The lighting in the bedroom wasn't as bright as I like, but that's ok. Tru by Hilton downtown Indianapolis is the best 3- star hotel I've encountered!

I like the area that the hotel was in. It was cool seeing the football stadium so close. I also liked the beds. They were actually comfortable which isn't typical for most hotels.

There wasn't really anything that I didn't like. I will state that the thermostat on my wall didn't do anything. I could change the temperature setpoint and it wouldn't synchronize with the PTAC unit. The only way I could switch the unit between heating and cooling + change the setpoint was to adjust everything at the PTAC unit itself. This issue might be associated with my specific room and wasn't a big deal once I figured out what needed to be done. However, I can see this issue causing some people to become confused and possibly call for service when the thermostat wasn't doing what they wanted it to do.

I think the Hilton 'Tru' concept is fantastic and we enjoyed our short overnight stopover here more than many more expensive/premium hotels on our USA trip! Convenient, large car park right in the hotel. Room was large, comfortable and well thought out with everything we needed. I loved the Lemon Sugar shower soap in the bathroom! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast included was excellent offered a nice choice of hot/cold food and drink and you can even make your own fresh pancakes, superb! Selection of snacks and sundries available to purchase in lobby, ice and chilled water refills available. Great downtown location would be perfect for Lucas Oil stadium events!

Parking expensive in comparison to cost of a nights stay, but the convenience of the car park just about makes up for it this is pretty rare for a city/downtown hotel!

The hotel was in a great location within walking distance to downtown, river front, zoo. A lot of road work/construction going on nearby which, when done, will be great for city. Staff was nice (shout out to Tayvon...very friendly and hospitable upon arriving) and room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was decent and coffee was good.

Only complaint was the noise that the AC unit in room made when it came on. There was a loud click when it came off/on which made it hard to sleep. Even tried to turn fan blower on continuously to mask the noise, but didn't work so well.

The beds were really comfortable. The location was fabulous. About a 3 minute walk from the hotel to Lucas Stadium where our event was. Staff was so nice and accomodating. Hotel was clean. Bathroom was spacious. The hooks on the wall were very helpful to us for more storage.

Small issues: Pillows weren't great. Large one was like a rock and small was so soft it wouldn't hold my head. Room was either freezing or warm, not too much in between. We had a King room (734) overlooking Lucas Stadium. Great view, but it was very tight. The bed took up the majority of the room. It would have been nice to have a smidge more room. The wifi wasn't great for the one that didn't cost.

Perfect location! We were there for a football game at Lucas Oil Stadium & it is just across the street. It also only takes a few minutes to walk to the city center for restaurants & shopping. Breakfast was very nice, better than I expected. The whole hotel was very nice and clean. Staff was very nice also.

The only real complaint was the noise. It sounded like elephants were in the room above us. It was very annoying & distracting. We could also hear anyone walking/talking in the hallway. The hotel is exactly as advertised, so we were not surprised by most of the minimalist decor, but there wasn't a microwave in the room so we had to use the one in lobby to heat up leftovers. The rooms were very nice, comfy, and clean but very small.

We didn't have the breakfast as we woke up later in the morning and decided to have breakfast at a restaurant. On our second day my wife and I just had the coffee/tea service which was adequate before heading out. But, I'm sure it was sufficient enough with a variety as the other guests were having breakfast and looked satisfied. The lobby/breakfast area was comfortable and inviting and was a good space for its purposes.

The pillows were uncomfortable for my preference but that can be subjective. They were too bulky. Perhaps 2 sets of pillows that are different in firmness may be something to look into to accommodate travelers/guests. But, again not a deal breaker but possibly could've been remedied by guests bringing their own pillow or requesting at the front desks for a different pillow which I did not do on my visit.

The room was the perfect size for my husband and I and our travel needs. When we go to different cities, we don't tend to spend a lot of time in our room. The amenities at check in were perfect, and the hotel itself was so close to places that we want to visit next time we are in town. Breakfast the next morning was amazingly delicious, and there was a lot of room for eating and lounging before we drove home.

I did not like that we had to pay an additional $30 to park at the hotel, I feel like that should have been included in the nightly rate. If we were parking in a garage just to attend an event but not staying at the hotel, I could have understood the fee.

it was right in the city where I had planned it to be. it was walking distance to the city center mall. I loved that.

There wasn’t nothing that I didn’t like. The problem I had was when I got there the lady at the front desk. I believe was Emerelda. She told me I had cancelled the reservation. Which I did not. I just changed the date from the 6/15 to the 6/16 date. I had to call you all to get it straightened out. What had happened is I believe the lady (Natalia) at the hotel when I called had dropped the ball. She even told me she was new and Lettie was helping her. I don’t think she put the information on my account. The call was recorded. I had Anas from your company send Natalia an email. She quoted to me she had received it but I think she didn’t do anything with it. That was my only problem.

Everything was great! Service — Alex st the front desk was so helpful and friendly! Our room was super quiet and clean. The exercise room was top notch — lots of weights, 3 treadmills, 2 exercise bikes, and an elliptical trainer — all clean and looked brand new! Property close to everything and the parking garage is next to the hotel itself. Perfect all around!
