It was perfect, we loved everything! Kate and Rick were fantastic hosts, very kind and welcoming. The property is beautiful and well-kept, our en-suite room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was truly delicious. We saw all kinds of birds and bunnies in a carefully manicured garden with a lovely view of the river. It's a very peaceful and quiet spot, but also only less than 5 minutes by car from the main street, which made it easy for us to eat out and enjoy the town. My wife and I felt like we were in a home away from home!

Hi. I wanted to write this in "the Book" but you would probably have problems reading my writing. "Rickaty is in a quiet and peaceful location with a comfortable bed, great food and Katy and Rick made is feel very welcome"

Not a dislike but maybe an observation. In the event of very hot or very bad weather a guest would be virtually restricted to their rooms. If this weather were to persist It could prove irksome. In some B n B's we have frequented there has been a central area available to guests, for instance the Dining Room, in the event of bad weather. This would enable them to play cards, read books, watch TV etc. Unfortunately this would not be easy to implement with the layout of the rooms at Rickaty. Another armchair in the bedroom would be nice and would keep guests "off the bed with their clothes on" Please read these in a positive way - our stay with you was bliss compared with some.

It is a beautiful property with a lovely serene and peaceful view of the Blackwood River. The gardens are amazing. The room is so clean and comfortable. Rick and Kate the hosts and owners put a lot of love into their home and property, they are such lovely people. The real fast they provide is exceptional. This is the 3rd time we have stayed there and it's a delightful experience. We will return!

I can't think of one thing.

Very clean and comfortable, and plenty of storage room. The balcony is lovely, overlooking the beautiful garden and Blackwood River. Hosts Rick and Katy are very welcoming and provide a very good breakfast in lovely surroundings. Bridgetown is a very nice little town, with good amenities and nice restaurants and cafes. The Ciderey is a great spot to eat and drink.

Beautiful and quiet property, very comfortable room with every detail considered and looked after - from the bed linen to bathroom amenities. Fantastic walking trail to town. Delicious cooked or continental brekky and the most hospitable and kind hosts, thank you very much Kate and Rick!

Nothing, it was the perfect B&B

The hospitality of the owners made our stay most memorable and pleasant. Kate and Rick have been the kindest hosts I have ever met. Not only did they cook the most sumptuous breakfast, they shared their knowledge and travel experiences as well. The place was impeccably clean and easy to locate. It was fun to explore the river and trails nearby. Awesome experience!

The location was close to town, on the river and just beautiful. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. The included cooked breakfast was filling and VERY delicious. The Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The delightful gardens were full of many varieties of bird life coming to feed and bathe and was wonderful sitting on our personal balcony watching nature. Great value for money.

We loved everything about Rickaty. Our hosts were very warm and welcoming. The room was comfy & quiet with a beautiful view out over the garden and down to the river and lots of little wild birds flitting back and forth across the balcony. Breakfast was very good. The main town is a 20mins stroll along the river if you don't want to drive. We only had two nights this trip, but will definitely return

I loved Kate and Rick, they are so lovely and friendly! They accommodated to my allergy needs, and made gluten & dairy-free breakfast. I felt super supported, and I really appreciated chatting with them and getting to know the area.

We loved everything about our stay! Perfect location, the room was a decent size and had everything you'd need. The bathroom was large and the shower was fantastic! The view from the balcony was beautiful and it was lovely being able to get down to the river. The cooked breakfast was very nice and very filling, just perfect to set you up for a nice big walk.

That our two nights went so fast!!
