Absolutely awesome place. Clean, tidy, perfect setting in the middle of the country with no traffic at all, very little noise (except the fabulous 'guard donkey' who alerted to any arrivals) Beautiful and obviously well cared for animals which loved a morning apple or carrot. Lovely easy walk around the property which took about 20 minutes each morning and views beautiful to just appreciate sitting with a glass of wine. The cabin itself was lovely, no close neighbours, lots of privacy and an outdoor spa for just our use.

There was genuinely nothing not to love, it is a little piece of paradise in Nannup

The farm was beautiful, we saw kangaroos, emus, birds, cows, ponnies, llamas, hens... Perfect place for resting and relaxing. The cabin was very comfortable, clean and spacious. We were incredibly lucky to see the aurora australis thanks to Lee (from Jarrah Glen), who told us it was happening one of the nights we stayed. That also made us realise how beautiful the night sky there was, with practically no light pollution we were able to see so many stars, it was amazing.

Nothing, it was perfect.

Loved being welcomed by your gorgeous kids, absolutely loved the tranquility. Location was amazing, exactly what we needed. My favourite part was being able to feed the beautiful highland cows, absolutely gorgeous, and all the other animals. being able to relax in the spa under the stars was also an amazing experience. beautiful views of the property, will definitely be back.

There was nothing we didn’t like about this accommodation

This was our second visit to Jarrah Glen and it did not disappoint :-). We loved seeing and interacting with all the animals, especially Lucky the goat! The girls particularly enjoyed the feeding experiences and of course playing with Lexi and Kalli! It was great to sit around the fire and hear your interesting stories of travels, life and the farm...the burnt marshmallows were pretty good too!

Lovely little cabin, exactly as described with little hospitable touches. We enjoyed watching the birds in the trees from the private spa. The cabins are set on a beautiful little farm with a variety of animals and wild kangaroos and emus nearby. Feeding the goats, cows and alpacas with the friendly host was a novelty and we enjoyed the fresh eggs available for purchase.

My partner and I stayed 2 nights in the cedar loft cabin. We really enjoyed the location of the cabin and how quiet and peaceful it was to relax and enjoy our time together. Their large property was beautiful creating a more peaceful and secure property. Their cabin had a selection of movies to watch and a puzzle. Judy and Ian were very welcoming and letting us know the things we could do around nannup with their brochures. They were also very contactable before and during our stay, letting us know directions and key things to bring. We really enjoyed feeding their cattle, miniature horses, sheep, emu and Eeyore the donkey. We left some apples on the porch for the possums but weren’t able to spot them during the 2 nights unfortunately but could hear them. We also cooked both nights on the bbq they had at the front porch which was really nice.

Chalet was beautiful and clean with great amenities. The animals were great and came up close to be fed. Was great being able to walk around the property at our leisure. The hot tub was great. Hosts were very accommodating and went out of their way to help out. The inclusion of being able to purchase bread, eggs and firewood before arrival was great.

We LOVED our 2 night stay at Jarrah Glen Cabins in The Billabong Cottage. The entrance through the woods was an adventure. Ian and Judy are brilliant hosts, so friendly. The animals were fab, and it was an experience for 11yo miss to feed emus/goats/shetland ponies/sheep by hand. I've never been spat on by an emu before (he didn't like my watery oats concoction), that was fun. The cottage was so well set up (the best setup on our month long southwest journey). There was an amazing deck area for outside dinners. The peace and quiet in beautiful wooded surroundings. Outstanding. We can't wait to come back.

The drive to the property was stunning, so much greenery. We were warmly received and welcomed onto the property. The cabin itself was an experience, so cosy, clean and filled with all the essentials. We had a very relaxing escape from the CBD with an opportunity to interact with different animals. The 3 bedroom unit was spotlessly clean when we arrived and the owners were very accomodating and helpful! The unit is well equipped with everything you may need.

There were lots of small flies attracted to the lights at night, which meant regular use of fly spray and regular cleaning up of bugs. This is likely partly to be expected though on a rural property this time of year though.
