The staff, the setting, the massages and facials ($27 nzd for two hours). The cooking classes. It’s just the greatest place to stay. Close to everywhere by grab for less than $1.

I loved everything. One of the two pools were out of use while there bc of a pump issue but that was no problem. I didn’t like that I had to leave 😂

We booked a bungalow, not knowing that there were stairs from bedroom to bathroom, impossible to use for people with disabilities. They could not change the room. Wifi was on and off. Service is slow and staff a bit too present. Housekeeping has to be reminded of what is missing (sometimes water, sometimes coffee)

The staff were so so friendly and helpful. The villa is gorgeous, you really feel surrounded by nature. We loved the frog theme! Room was beautiful, clean and comfy with air con. It was a perfect first stop to get over our jet lag!

Unfortunately whilst we were the there both pools were under maintenance so we didn't get to use them.

We loved our stay at KTS. The staff were friendly and couldn't be happier to help with anything. Our room was beautiful and well looked after. The location was quiet and tucked away from the business of Canggu but was only a 15-minute taxi ride into the main area.

I found PARADISE! Just spent 4 days here on the first ever visit to Bali, and WOW, what a gem of a place. Food outstanding and all organic, fresh produce by the wonderful Mira. All staff SOOOOO friendly, helpful, welcoming, and accommodating - nothing too much trouble. The owner treated us like one of the family and went overboard to spoil us and make our stay memorable, which included taking us to his second resort in the mountains. These experiences are how memories are made, and when I say I cannot wait to return, I speak from the bottom of my heart. Daily, I was made to feel like royalty by everyone at KTS, and I thoroughly recommend you plan a stay here. Oh, as for the Spa...unreal full body massage, which undid every bit of tension in my body for a barmy £7!!!! Needless to say, I had more than one. It's literally the best place ever - I have found my paradise

Absolutely nothing at all!

The property offers a unique and tranquil experience surrounded by nature, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The dinner was good and the massage was excellent. The villa is clean and surrounded by paddy fields, away from noise. The presence of animals like dogs, cats, and iguanas adds to the charm. The breakfast was okay.

However, there were some drawbacks such as the property looking a bit older than expected from the pictures on the website. The location may be inconvenient for those looking to explore Canggu area due to the infamous Bali traffic. The presence of mosquitoes, lizards, and rats may also be a bit overwhelming for some guests. The pool in the pool villa isn't very private. The shower in the bathroom had water issues (ran out after 5 mins or so) and there were some maintenance issues like black powder dropping from wood above the bed. However, the staff were quick to help out with it. Overall, if you're looking for a unique and nature-filled experience, KTS Bali Villa could be a good choice. Just be prepared for some potential wildlife encounters and minor maintenance issues.

Everything. It’s paradise in earth, no joke ! best place I’ve stayed to in Bali, and probably in many other countries too. The hotel has an unmatched charm, the place has a soul. Everything was perfect : room very spacious and comfortable, the atmosphere of the hotel, the surroundings, the facilities…and most of all the staff ++++. They do everything they can to make your stay the best possible, always eager to help, smiling, everyone knows you by your name…it feels a bit like family (special mention for Pina and Mira). The restaurant also really worth it : fresh food for a very affordable price for Canggu, with traditional dishes and original arak cocktails. I liked it so much that I went back to the restaurant on my last evening in Bali just to enjoy the place one last time. The location is a bit outside Canggu so really peaceful, but only 10min on bike from downtown and the beach (really easy to get with grab). I can only but recommend the place, I will come back for sure !

Our stay at Katak Tepi Sawah Resort in Canggu was a fantastic experience. The resort is tucked away beneath a busy street. Being shielded from the busy street gives the impression that this is a secluded spot in the midst of nature. Everywhere you look you find a lot of detail, true bali style. This resort is truly a paradise! The hospitality is exceptionally good. We were welcomed with a smile, a cold towel and a welcome drink. The hostesses, Mira and Tina, are kind and professional. Both speak good English and are incredibly helpful. The room attendant (we don’t know his name) is very friendly and takes cleaning very seriously! The rooms were thoroughly cleaned by him every day. The food is of an exceptionally high standard. The chef is an incredibly friendly man with tremendous talent for Balinese cuisine. It’s hard to find better gado-gado or nasi-goreng. We also loved the breakfast. The chef also conducts a cooking class. Don’t miss it! It’s very educational if you’re interested in cooking Balinese dishes at home. We had a couple of amazing massages! The staff at the spa is very professional. The excellent service might be due to all the staff being trained by the owner himself at the TIPS hospitality school. Finally, our villa. We stayed for four nights in "The Edge." It was a delightful experience because, as mentioned above, it was very clean. Additionally, there is good air conditioning and a large swimming pool in this villa. The beds are very comfortable. Everything is beautifull and there is a lot of detail. A true balinese experience. The only downside is that we coule not get the locks on the doors to work. Also, the safe was not working. However, this was not a problem for us because the entire staff is very trustworthy and we felt very safe! Next time when we visit bali we want to stay longer!

What a special and unexpectedly nice resort. It consists of fourteen different types of houses and villas that are hidden away in a hodgepodge of rice fields, jungle and ponds. All around you, you'll see animals, including geckos, frogs, cats, and dogs. When I first arrived here, I wasn't sure what to make of this resort. But the people, especially the staff, are so incredibly sweet and friendly. Nothing is too much and they are immediately there for you, even if you want to have a chat. This resort has definitely been one of my highlights of my four-week trip! Definitely recommended! The food is also very very good!

You have to be able to handle seeing animals everywhere. There is a pack of dogs walking around the grounds, there are cats in trees and you see geckos and frogs everywhere. It takes some time to get used to it, but in itself it is not a downside.

Friendly, welcoming authentic Balinese experience. If you're looking for an authentic non-commercial experience, with friendly and warm hospitality this is the place to stay. You could not get closer to nature with a real feel for the jungle experience. Our bungalow had a private pool, which was an absolute treat!!!. The staff were wonderful and could not have made us feel any more welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Absolute pleasure!!!! We had the Balinese spiritual cleansing experience with a blessing, and the palm reading absolutely lovely experience. Also, the spa facilities were truly exquisite. The food served in the restaurant was absolutely gorgeous and the service couldn't be beaten. Thank you, Mira, Pandy and the whole team you made our stay EXCEPTIONAL and we will definitely be back!!!

I did get a few mosquito bites, which is to be expected in the jungle. However, even this could not spoil our fabulous stay.
