Hotel's security is good. Front desk staff were very helpful, patient and professional. In particular, I would like to single out one of the staff, Tony, who is at the front desk who helped with calling for cabs during our stay. Room was clean. The housekeeping staff was good and professional. Bottled water and packaged beverages were regularly replenished. The mattress and bedding were comfortable and clean. Breakfast is reasonable and staff attending to diners were attentive and professional. Location is good with plenty of eateries , malls and markets around the vicinity which is a good way to see the traditional and modern side of Hong Kong. A small urban park makes for good walking in the evening.

Only feedback were the overly soft pillows . Firmer pillows would be ideal.

The most i like it is the location, location was near to Mongkok Station and Yau Ma Tei Metro. Snicker shops was 9 minutes walk from our hotel. The Hotel itself is near to food hub and shopping as well.

Uhmmm... i guess the breakfast. I'm not saying it's not delicious, but the selections that they have are little. It's ala carte and not buffet. There are buffet for hot and cold drinks and bread toast. That's it.

Hotel location is very good, near Nathan Road and Mongkok and Yau Ma Tei MTR stations. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Stationed cleaning staff on our floor would even knock politely and remind us to close our room door properly as it wasn't closed reall well at that time. They obviously care for every customer's safety. Staff were very nice, helpful and would smile and greet you at entrance. I booked the wrong date but the guy at reception told me to contact booking.com's customer service as I was ready to let go of my wrong booking date and rebook a new one disregarding the whole fee deduction, but the receptionist guy insisted that I still call customer service. My issue was handled very well, only took 10 minutes to resolve.

At that time of our stay, there was only one working elevator out of the 2 elevators. And the room doesn't come with room slippers.

The room was well-cleaned and quiet. Walking distance to the convenience store and 8 minutes away from Yau Ma Tei station.

The quality of in-room slippers was poor. As a prestigious hotel shouldn't provide such as paper-made slippers. And also, it had no body lotion What is more, there was NO bath robe. I believe this Holiday Inn Express isn't the international brand one. The one I stayed in Malaysia, Macau, Shenzhen and Guangzhou were much better than this one.

Location is very convenient, the hotel is less than a 10-minute walk to the Yau Ma Tei subway station, and we can also easily walk to nice street markers, such as the Ladies' Market and Temple Street Market. The wi-fi signal is strong and fast, and the staff is very corteous and efficient.

Since Hong Kong is extremely humid, humidity is a major problem and several areas of the property smell of mold. The room I was given right after checking-in had an unbearable smell (which seemed to come from the carpets or the air conditioning system - or both). However, after I pointed that out I was immediately put in another room, which was much better - but still not 100% okay. Also, breakfast is not a buffet, and guests must choose from a rather limited menu.

Breakfast selection was great. The front desk manager was very helpful. He did not want to take any tips which was much appreciated with the storage of our luggage. He gave us a lift tag so we could go to the toilets before the taxi ride to the airport. A very thoughtful and nice man.

Room needs more hooks or rails for hanging clothing.

Every single member of staff was totally perfect...... Could not be faulted... Welcoming, helpful, professional and courteous. The breakfast was good, and changes or extras were provided without questioning. The location is perfect for the night markets, and so many super restaurants close by. Rooms spotlessly clean, with powerful hot shower, and a bath! Even supplied bubble bath liquid...

Absolutely Nothing to say

The location was perfect for us as it was in an area full of decent Cantonese restaurants and shops. We did not want to be too close to the tourist markets. The size of the room was decent and we had a sofa where we were able to sit. The included breakfast was from a menu. So you chose from a set menu of five choices. There was a kettle in the room with some Chinese tea bags and coffee satchels. Two small bottles of water were replenished daily. There was also a fridge in which you could store your own drinks and food. Decent air con also available which is essential in the HK heat!

The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from Yau Ma Tei MTR station. So for some people this may be quite far. Nothing major: there was no English tea bags at breakfast. The machine tea was just too sweet for me!

Room is clean and spacious. Nice view Walking distance to Yau Ma Tei mtr station. Plenty of 7 Elevens and eateries near by. Walk to Nathan Road easily

Room had a musty odour at the beginning which we addressed with own perfume. The breakfast pics look boring and the food is ok but no variety 3 days we stayed ate similar food. Would be good to have no breakfast option.

Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. I was expecting small room as Hong Kong is famous for tiny housing size but our room can even fit in one rollaway bed which really convenient for my family. When I checked out, they even help to call the taxi to the airport. Also Hotel is just 5 mins away from Yau Ma Tei MTR Station and also walkable to MongKok Station which along the way has many shops.
