Wonderful, big hotel with nice terrace, swimming pool, shops and bars, near all the restaurants, bars and beach (everything is about 5-15 min walk) .The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and cheerful (especially the lady with glasses from the restaurant). We got a wonderful room with a nice balcony and view. Everything is very clean and tidy and there are really no complaints.

Wifi basicly doesn t work. I read in previous reviews about it but it looks like hotel does not do anything with that. Premium paid wifi not good as well. Long time waiting for the lifts so most of the time used stairs.

Considering the size of the hotel they managed to provide a huge delicious breakfast. The swimming pools surrounded with palm trees, coupled with a heated and an unheated outdoor pools, were very relaxing and spotless. Great transport links to other parts of the Island.

We didn’t like waiting for a lift and the pillows were not the same standard/quality as the beds. Also Playa del Ingles could do with a big injection of money to renovate the derelict shopping centres surrounding the hotel.

Very good location. Good facilities and value for money. Very good breakfast and lot of variety. Adults hotel So no kids around , not noise. Amazing view from my 7th floor room. Beach is 12-15 mins walk and Maspalomas centre and yumpo centre 15 mins. Overall really good experience.

One of the bad things in this hotel is that is huge and a lot of people. I stayed 6 days and not even one day I could find a sunbed by the pool. All the time of the day I tried. From early morning till late afternoon. People wake up very early and “reserve” beds with towels for whole families. So for my whole stay I haven’t been to the pool not even one day. Also during my stay one of the 2 lifts was broken for 3 days . That means queue for the one lift, sometimes even for 10 mins. Imagine staying on the 7th floor waiting for long to get in and the lift stops at every single floor to get people in.

Hotel was beautiful and clean, beds were very comfortable, lovely balcony. Great location, food was nice but repetitive. Nice coffee and cakes in the afternoon.

Hotel has many guests so you didn’t get that personal feeling, pool was very cold, too many sunbeds that were scattered all over the place, was an obstacle to walk round, fighting to get a sunbed if you didn’t get there very early. Was all inclusive, I don’t really drink beer or much wine so was looking forward to cocktails but not many on the AI list, what was on there came ready mixed from a machine. Cockroaches in our bathroom. All though food was tasty enough it is very repetitive, okay if you like chips. Was in a room overlooking the air con units so a little noisy, air con definitely needs an upgrade. Was still a nice place, just one moody staff in the pool bar who said you can not use the bar for AI, it was a cash bar. Snacks available for AI was a sandwich or frozen pizza.

1. The breakfast was very nice! 2. The staff was very helpful and nice. We had a little problem with our room during our stay and the problem was solved immediately. Everyone is very polite. 3. The pool area is big and nice. Really enjoyed staying there. 4. I liked that it was very chilled, and not like in other hotels next to us where they checked everyone's bracelets in the entrance. Everybody minds their own business. We are all adults, and it was great that the staff didn't treat us like kids or prisoners ;) 5. In general I really I enjoyed my stay there and I would definitely book there again.

1. The free coffee from the machines was not really good, but it is possible to get very decent coffee for 2 euro extra. In generally I was very satisfied. 2. The rooms are not 100% soundproof, and the room next to the elevator was a bit noisy. But when we approached the staff with this problem we got a new better room right away even though the hotel was almost full.

Princess Hotel Gran Canaria is one of a hotel chain. Its main targeted clientele are groups. Nevertheless even if travelling with the family, we felt welcome and well taken care of. Congratulations to the impressive teams that care of the cleanliness and the restauration areas of the hotel, as well as a very professional reception desk team. There were some minor issues right after check-in, but they were solved immediately, even if we are talking about a Saturday and Sunday. Maintenance team is constantly present on the premises, which is a significant plus. We took advantage of the pre-check in service (we received an email to this effect) and this step reduced drastically on-site check in process. Breakfast was quite varied offering choices for everyone. Hotel offers also lunch and dinner for half-board or all inclusive clients, but this was not our case. Pool area is impressive, full of luxuriant areas with flowers or palm trees. We appreciated that reserving sun beds "at the crack of dawn" was not allowed, ensuring "first come, first served" method, which is normal in our view. Parking space is available in the front and back, but there not very many lots. Nevertheless we managed to find a free space on a daily basis. Every night a musical performance takes place on the terrace near the pool, that ends around 23:30. The music is quite loud and rooms with partial sea view are located directly above this particular area. It was a pleasant couple of hours and view from the balcony makes up for it. If you close the balcony door, noise level diminishes a lot. We recommend a stay at Princess Adults only.

This is just a suggestion for the management: in such a big definitely 4 star hotel, quality of coffee and coffee machines in the breakfast room should be upgraded. There are a great deal of people, like ourselves, for which coffee quality really matters. Not even the lobby bar, where services were paid four our guest category, had better coffee.

Facilities Location

Reception staff could learn some hospitality and professionalism. The booking had already been paid for in advance. On arrival I was told it was not paid for and insisted that it had to be paid. The amount was higher than the booking rate. I even showed my bank account and the amount correlation with the booking.com amount reflecting it was paid. Staff insistent I had to pay and sort it out the following day. I refused to do this only to realise they were looking at another persons bill. No apologies or acknowledgement of error. Didn’t start well.

Wifi- poor connection Elevator- not bad but you push the elevator and it GOES past your floor up and down. Need improvement Photoshoot - Extra service from the hotel- they say its free shooting. Then there is no payment to take the fotos then they say its 10€ per foto , and what they dont tell you its that there is a minimum number of 5 fotos you have to pick and choose , you cannot buy less , making you emotionaly invested and then they told us "the other ones charge 100€ just fot the shooting" ... Dont say its free and you have a minimum of 10€ per foto if you going to charge 50 for 5 fotos min.

To be honest, everything was very good, the food, the location, all the activities that were present every night, it was an awesome holiday

The only thing that bothered us was that for half-board, drinks were not included. And i dont mean the alcoholic beverages or sodas, i mean water. I dont think water should be classified as a luxury, especially that we already have paid for the whole stay. One free bottle of water wouldnt hurt anyone. And yess, the elevator, that one could use some improvement
