Easy bus ride from Segovia train station to centre. Stop just 5 minutes walk max from hotel. Hotel very well done out and very nice room indeed. Breakfast was excellent. Easy walk from hotel to aquaduct and historical parts and many nice cafes and restaurants.

The safe deposit box in the wardrobe/ cupboard was not fixed to the furniture. In theory, anybody could just lift it out and walk out with it. I did point this out to the lady on reception when she had come to our room to sort out the deposit box when we arrived ( it wasn't working properly) and she said it was unlikely anyone could walk out with it. As she couldn't get it to work, she then said she would have to exchange it for another one and so proceeded to walk out of the room with it!!!! Quite why any hotel would have a safe deposit box without it being secure is beyond me!! We decided it was safer to keep our valuables with us!

What a lovely hotel! A conversion from an old mansion, with heavy, high timbered ceilings, lovely spaces inside and out, a bar and an excellent buffet breakfast. We were upgraded to a huge room with a luxurious bathroom (nice toiletries). Our receptionist Cinthia is a credit to the Berganza; she gave us lots of tips and suggestions about places to visit, eat and just walk around. Segovia is a lovely city, with its Roman Aqueduct and Alcazar, and simply wandering around it is worth it. You can get a high speed train into Madrid in just 25 minutes, which is how we arrived in Segovia. The railway station is out of town and you'll need a bus (2.50) or a taxi. There's a very good bar restaurant nearby; turn right out of the hotel then right again, and it's there on the left. We found some of the waiters in the main historic (touristy!) areas (including the Mayor Square) rude, so our friends around the corner were a treat, the food was excellent and the prices were very reasonable.

Nothing - it's a fantastic place to stay!

Everything was terrific! The staff was pleasant (and spoke good English, which was great since our Spanish is minimal). It's a beautiful and beautifully redone building, with lovely stone and tile work, definitely not run of the mill. The location is excellent, a few blocks from the busy main street but in a calmer area so it was quieter at night. There is a pleasant courtyard to sit in as well. Everything was clean and well cared for. Breakfast was delicious with a large buffet of hot and cold items. There was nothing at all about our stay that our party of four didn't like!

The helpful staff and the lobby was lovely. The bathroom was spacious.

The hotel is lovely, but our room was on the ground floor and while it overlooked an odd courtyard (with astroturf) the bathroom overlooked a parking lot. The glass bathroom door let in the parking lot light and while there was a heavy curtain, the set up was a bit weird. I would opt for an upper room. Our room did not look at all like the photos in the listing. The hotel is a bit of a ways from the center of Segovia, but only a 10 min walk

Really helpful and friendly staff. Room and room facilities were excellent. The welcome drink was a really nice touch especially after a long drive. Public car park only a few minutes walk away.

Quite a bit of noise from other rooms which I think was coming through the ceilings. Probably the worst for noise especially as it wasn't people shouting, it was just movement and normal talking. Should be looked at to improve the overall experience.

Nice and helpful staff. Perfect location 3 minutes walk from the aqueduct. Really nice breakfast - good quality jamon and cheeses. Exquisite room, with great view. Really nice bathroom, with huge windows. A really nice touch - the TOUS toiletries and even a hair straightener. And a hint for those that enjoy local food - just across the street, you can find a great restaurant - La Codorniz.

The walls seem to be really thin, we could hear the neighbors coughing and even using the bathroom in the night.

Great stay. Very friendly and very helpful staff - the lady presented three options and all there pros and cons - great. She also recommended a walk through the city which we did and was really nice. Pretty lobby, beautiful and spacious room and at least our booking had a good value for money (<70€). Great breakfast. All the Spanish breakfast plus some specials like guacamole and usual continental breakfast as well.

Only minor issues. When we checked in, we first got a room without garden view but this was corrected fast. And we had to pass, i.e., to manually open and close, 4 doors to reach our room. A bit sad that this hotel is not disabled-friendly: although there are lifts and a ramp in the lobby, you always also have to pass steps.

The desk staff were very helpful, especially Cynthia ! The breakfast & bar staff were great and it was a relaxing space.

Unfortunately we had a room overlooking three tapas bars so we didn't have a very good sleep. Noise of party goers went all night and we had to shut the windows, which made the room very stuffy. We thought we had booked a garden view room. We didn't complain at the time because once you're settled into a room, it just doesn't seem worth the effort to make a fuss.

The location was close to parking and the aqueduct. A lovely stroll up to the Alcazar and cathedral. Complimentary drink on arrival was appreciated and staff were helpful with restaurants etc.

The taps for the shower over the bath were on the wall at the back of the shower which made it tricky to change the temperature without getting burnt. Not a deal breaker though.

Large room, had my daughter with us and she had a proper bed. Was well heated, bed was large and comfortable, shower was great with good hot water and pressure. The included breakfast was awesome with a massive selection of food. It’s super close to all the attractions of Segovia within walking distance

The only slight negative was a slight smell of smoke in the room
