The beds were so comfortable, the breakfast was good and the pool was clean and open. The hotel is positioned in a perfect spot, next to many restaurants and stores and right next door to a grocery store.

Our room wasn't cleaned 100% more specifically the bathroom. The toilet was dirty, the cleaners they use made the bathroom smell horrible, a very strong chemical smell. The biggest offset is when I walked in to check in both staff were sitting on their phones, both looked up and both didn't acknowledge me until I reached the desk at which point I waited until one put their phone down and helped me.

I liked that it had plenty of room in the suite to have a couch and chairs. It is dated but the bed was comfortable and it had a refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was scrambled eggs or hard boiled eggs plus a meat (sausage one day and bacon the next). Yogurt as well or make your own waffle. Bread was bagels, toast or English muffins. Variety of juices and plenty of coffee including decaf. Tea selection good (just 4 to choose from). It is right next to Aldi's and walking distance to the Chanhassen Theatre. Just 5 miles from the University of Minnesota Arboretum. And, just a few blocks to Paisley Park. Cub's Foods is actually just one block away at the back across from Jimmy Johns.

It is somewhat dated but clean. Room had more humidity than most unless you cranked the air conditioner down below 70 degrees.

Rooms could use an update, but the beds / pillows were amazing. Check in was quick and easy. Only had 2 towels, and no sheets / pillows for the hide a bed, but a quick stop at the front desk resolved that. Pool area was clean, but on the smaller side and the jets on the hot tub didn't work. Breakfast combined both hot and cold foods! Fire alarm went off for about an hour around 7am (false alarm) and stayed on in the rooms even though the down stairs and hallways were off. Good thing we were leaving for the day :)

Breakfast was a bit light, but despite missing items like yogurt, it was fine. Eggs, bacon, toast, sweet roll, and coffee and juice should be enough for anybody!

What was astonishing to me was the desk clerk telling me upon checking out that the hotel was being razed to build an apartment complex. This is a beautiful building with great rooms and a very, very attentive staff. He said no more reservations after October. This is sad.

Generally, the property is as described/expected. Everything is clean and fairly well maintained, but nothing is new. There's a bit of paint chipping here and there, and the windows leaked when it rained. The front desk folks were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were great, there was a lot to choose from. The French toast was quite dry but I was able to get other things instead so not a bad experience. The room was quite large for he value, had a deluxe king suite at an incredible price. Bed was comfy. Every staff member we encountered was super nice and helpful. Hot tub worked well. Location was phenomenal as far as being very close to a lot of shopping and food options, as well as being near a main road to get you anywhere you needed to go quickly.

Downside is while the location was great, it was very near train tracks which loudly rumbles through twice in one night. I was able to go back asleep but imagine that may have been difficult with my young kid. The window in our room seemed to be leaking air, but the weather wasn't bad so it wasn't a super big deal, plus the heater in the room could really kick out some heat.

Wonderful facility for a stay especially if you are planning on spending time on the west side of the Twin Cities and near Lake Minnetonka. Close to wonderful shopping, dining and attractions. In the same complex as the Chanhassen Dinner Theater which is really nice.

Should have checked what was playing at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater. We missed out on seeing the Jersey Boys during our stay. We did see a wonderful musical at the Guthery Theater downtown Minneapolis but it's a bit of a commute we could have saved.

I am reporting here now for the guest we had with us. I reported in more detail earlier for my stay. Breakfast was pretty good with scrambled eggs and sausage. Make your own waffles. Hard boiled eggs and yogurt and string cheese. Plenty of room in the suite and included a couch, chair, work desk with chair and a refrigerator and microwave and a sink.

Dated but clean.

The breakfast was fine, it had wrapped Jimmy Dean sandwiches, and other grab and go items. I think it also had waffles, but we did not get those. The room seemed clean, was nice and spacious, the bed was comfortable and there were no bad smells or anything. The hot tub and pool were clean and running well.

The bathroom must have been flooded in the days before we stayed in the room, because the bathroom door was swollen and couldn't be opened or shut easily. There were also pieces of the mdf from the door falling off everytime we shut or opened the door.

The hotel is very close to our son's family home.

We understand that housekeeping is not the priority it once was, but we had booked for a 7 night stay. We received an e mail stating that housekeeping would visit every three (3) days. After the fifth day of NO housekeeping, I contacted the desk for clean towels and a garbage pick up and it was done. We will stay again.
