Gorgeous property! We were lucky enough to get a room upgrade and the room was perfect! Couldn’t fault it! The location is perfect base for both heading into London and visiting Harry Potter Studios, I will absolutely be back here!

Ended up chosing this hotel over our usual Premier Inn say and glad we did. Stayed for our whole London visit. 3 nights in interconnecting rooms. Rooms big, clean with comfy beds and good toiletries. Free water and delicious cinnamon apple juice in the lobby. 10 minute walk from train station (pretty much in a straight line) so handy for the Harry Potter shuttle bus as well as Watford town centre which has lots of shops and lovely places to eat. Also felt safe there and people were friendly. Well located for direct train to London Euston - 14-20 mins. Overall had a great stay and when going to a London would absolutely stay again- it was a nice retreat from the chaos of central London but not far at all.

Perfect location to get the train into London, excellent parking rate with the hotel at the Sutton car park, complimentary drink in the lobby was lovely after a long day & great breakfast. 3rd stay with the hotel & will be back again later in the year!

Was placed in a room that was disabled facilities/wet room etc whilst perfect for those with accessibility needs, we didn’t require this & could have gone to someone else in need. This also meant that everything was low down, wet room isn’t our first choice of facilities and shower pressure was a trickle rather than pressure.

We had a lovely weekend staying here. It was very well located with shops, restaurants and bars nearby. The car park is very close and reasonably priced. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained. The cold water in the lobby was appreciated as well as the small tuck shop for essentials and snacks. The room also had loads of towels and a great shower. It was perfect for our stay. The highlight for us was the lovely staff especially Roshan who checked us in late at night after we had an awful travel day. He made the check in experience super smooth and he was a pleasure to talk to.

Our only gripe is that we didn’t have a spare toilet roll in the bathroom.

Rooms were lovely - modern, clean and fresh. Breakfast was 10/10 - children eat breakfast for free which is an added bonus. Staff were very friendly and genuinely wanted to help. Close to transport links for Harry Potter Stuidios and London.

Bathroom was dated and small, but clean nonetheless. Parking was about a 5 minute walk away - this wasn't a problem however we arrived quite late so had a tired child with us who wanted to be carried (as well as all the luggage). It wasn't made clear to us from the booking that there's actually a drop off/pick up point at the hotel which would have been really useful for us.

The hotel was nice, fresh and clean. There's a beautiful smell on arrival in the reception area. Some confectionery and snacks are available to purchase at the reception. We had a small bite in the bar area which was nice and the environment itself was lovely. The buffet breakfast was good. We were able to order poached or boiled eggs that weren't on the buffet. It was an overall pleasant stay and I'd recommend it. The car park is the main thing that would put me off staying again, especially if I was arriving when it's dark or the weather was bad. I'd just prefer getting out of my car and into the hotel.

The towels need replacing. They were hard and worn down, not nice and fluffy. There is no onsite car park. The one recommended to use nearby, about 3 minutes away, not opposite the hotel as I was told before arrival. The lifts in the car park didn't work and the stairwell was smelt of urine.. It's discounted for hote guests, at £4 for 24 hours, which was reasonable. There could be a fridge in the room.

Breakfast was buffet style and very adequate with lots of choices. It was pricey at £13.99 but children under 12 eat free. Staff at breakfast were very kind especially the host. All food was hot and plenty of food offerings included some GF options. would have liked veggie sausages. Check-in is a bit slow so I would recommend that you check in online. There is a lovely lobby and bar area and a small shop to buy essentials and drinks etc. Toilets in public spaces are very clean. Luggage can be left with the reception on check-in or check-out. Felt very safe and welcome by staff. There is a complimentary pitcher of fruit infused water at entarnce- nice touch. The cleaning staff work very hard as do bar and breakfast staff- thank you! The receptionists were also lovely.

Price The bed was uncomfortable this time and in family room the queen bed is small for 2 adults.

The bedroom had all the facilities we would need, it was clean and ready and they had left a welcoming packet of sweets, not sure if this was because we had messaged to say it was our son's birthday or if this was normal, but it was nice 🙂 Our room was at the back of the hotel and we didn't hear any road noise. The breakfast was good too.

The angle of the TV from where the beds were was a bit odd as the room was a bit triangular, perhaps it could have been put on an angled bracket? The beds weren't fixed so they rolled around a bit, especially as our son was excitable. No hash browns at breakfast though, that would have been great!

The hotel was in perfect location, right next to the town centre, which was easy to get to if you wanted to eat out or go shopping. The train station was a 5 minute walk down the road. We stayed here to go Harry Potter studios and there is a bus that takes you for free to the studios right next to train station, so ideal. The parking is 3 minute walk from hotel, you pay when leave (don’t forget to put you car reg in at reception for a discount before you leave as we nearly missed this). The staff was really friendly especially Matt (Matthew) at the bar, he was also at breakfast he is super friendly and so polite and makes a lovely iced latte. The breakfast was superb fully stocked and had a variety of options available, Matt was making sure everything was topped up constantly and was there to answer any questions, he deserves recognition for his hard work and friendly customer service. The room was clean and had everything you needed for your stay. The free juice at reception is a lovely touch too. We will definitely stay here again.

Nothing, maybe just remind people of the parking on check in, but this is no way a bad reflection on this hotel, this is just encase anyone misses it.

Rooms were clean and tidy and enough space for a family. Only downside given the weather was somewhere to bring a drink back and keep chilled in the fridge for during the night or the next morning it would have been ideal to keep water cool

The breakfast hot food wasn't always replenished as quick as would expected had to wait a few times for extra items plus toaster was on the opposite side, gluten free was next to hot food so a juggle if you are trying to keep everything warm. Also your jugs of juice and flavoured water with ice but you did not have iced water just on its own, when asked for one it was brought back as if straight from the tap so not ideal.
