The room was very clean and the service excellent. The morning breakfast is among the best I have experienced while traveling. The cleaning ladies were very accommodating and helpful. And we enjoyed the location. It was a bit of a walk to the zocolo( about 5 blocks). However, the walk was on a street with no traffic and quite pleasant and entertaining to walk. And I should mention the view from our third floor room. Beautiful view of the Oaxaca!

We loved the location of the hotel which was super convenient and really appreciated having the pool on those very hot Oaxacan days, with a 4 years-old it was really a must. The room is relatively big and the service was good. The covered parking that was free for guests was also great since it was so sunny and hot while we were there.

The breakfast was relatively varied with hot and cold options but not of the best quality, in any case we were able to have a decent meal before hitting the streets for sight seeing. The beds were a little bit on the hard side but linens were comfortable and of excellent quality. The biggest downside for us was the fact that the rooms were not equipped with mini fridges which would have been nice only to put our water bottles in and perhaps to keep a few leftovers. The ice bucket and ice machine are very outdated features.

This hotel had wonderful location. Amazing profesional & welcoming staff. Along with very comfortable beds & very clean! Breakfast was included & it was delicious every single day w incredible quality food & service. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. And we will definitely go back when we visit Oaxaca again. Thank you for being such a wonderful & important part of our vacation.

We liked everything !!

Everything! The area was quiet yet walking distance to the central area and restaurants and a nice park nearby. The staff were friendly and professional. Comfortable and clean rooms. We had a king suite, which was perfect for 4 nights. The breakfast buffet is the best I've had at a Holiday Inn, with very attentive staff and a beautiful outdoor terrace to eat breakfast. Also, it was easy to get change from the front desk for our larger bills. What we appreciated most was the Mexican influence at this property. The beautiful historical hotel made us feel we were in Oaxaca. We loved it and would return.

The internet was a little slow.

This is a traditional property, but really well maintained. The staff are so attentive. Great location, about 8 mins walk to the town. It was so quiet. Comfortable bed, all the toiletries you need, water provided daily. Good to have a lovely pool to chill in. Good breakfast. The housekeeping was immaculate. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Home from home.

Nice hotel with good breakfast buffet and comfortable rooms. It is near to everything but not in the centre. The pool was clean and a bit heated, ready to swim even in October. We would love to come back.

The room had a smart TV but no internet connection was available, so no Netflix for kids.

Excellent value for money! Yes the hotel is a bit dated, but it’s perfectly nice and you get all the benefits of an older hotel - ie massive rooms, tons of space, excellent air con, huge beds and very comfy linens. Honestly, we were really surprised and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The location is also fantastic.

Shower pressure was a bit low.

My wife and I enjoyed 10 days at the hotel, guest experience excellent, staff were very helpful especially the GM and the front desk. Needed some medical supplies had it delivered to the hotel, loved the service at breakfast.

some noise from guest sitting outside by the pool could be heard in the early AM, but no problem.

Room was spacious and exactly as advertised. the air conditioning was fully functional not one of the centrally controlled politically correct systems. but then that is why we picked holiday inn Oaxaca on the first place. Breakfast was very good with a reasonable selection of items and staff was attentive and helpful. They arranged a taxi hire for us too.

Did not like the dorky colliding bathroom door positioning.

Everything was fine, great breakfast, staff was very helpful; especially Andy and Sulema. Room was nice, access to facilities was good, would love to stay there next year.
