The hotel is in an excellent location - right by the lake. Very beautiful boutique hotel. Rooms are spacious and at high standard compared to other hotels we've stayed during this trip. The photos here didnt do it justice - the rooms are much nicer!

The location of the hotel is really good. It’s in 10 minutes on foot from train station and practically on the embankment of the lake. The hotel is nicely designed. Rooms are quite small but comfy. There are tea pot, coffee machine, good toiletries in the room. Bed are pillows were comfortable. There is also possible to order different types of pillows. Stuff is helpful and professional. As Geneva is quite expensive city, the price of the room seems fair.

General impression is that the hotel was given a facelifting but the rest left old. Air-conditioning works too loud, equipment of bathroom is quite old. There was very unpleasant smell in the wardrobe that it wasn’t even possible to put clothes there. Buffet breakfast was quite basic, just the choice of cheeses were really good. Two days of four the breakfast took place in the near hotel and had less choice that in the New Midi. The breakfast seems a bit overpriced for the offered choice. Although we arrived an hour later then check-in time, our room wasn’t ready and we had to wait.

This is a polished, updated property that pays attention to details. The room was well designed, our view on the front side was beautiful, bidet, bath tub. coffee pot in room, refrigerator/minibar, comfy bed, nice pillows, coffee and apples in lobby 24/7, croissants in the morning, fitness room adequate with shower/towels, electric blind to stifle light and noise at night, location 150 ft from River, Starbucks next door, restaurants very close by. The staff was extraordinarily attentive and helpful. We arrived on an overnight flight desperately tired and they were kind enough to give us an early check in. We will be back.

No bar on elevated tub/shower to stabilize when climbing out. Could be a hazard for some.

Clean, quiet and full of light room on the 4th floor, with bathrobes and slippers available and very comfortable bed. The location is perfect (near the central rail station and two steps from the lake and a bridge to cross ) and decent breakfast (paid extra). Helpful and kind staff.

The free wifi signal is not stable and disconnects a lot of time. Also the bath tub is too high to get in and out and the position of the toilet is too close to the wall (not so much space).

The location was great, right near the water. We dropped off our bags and some guests, then I parked in Place de Cornavin, which was a little pricey but very convenient. Traffic was very slow in Geneva, it took a surprisingly long time to reach the hotel from the airport.

Pretty limited space to put your clothes in the room, I think they're more geared up to short stay business guests not holiday makers; we were only there two days but needed to unpack our week's clothes and repack when we left. Breakfast was expensive, we had it one morning and it was OK but not great enough to have it twice. We were placed near the lift on the 4th floor, which I'd usually dislike but it was very quiet and I wasn't bothered at all.

The hotel was clean and modern and looked new. The staff was attentive and helpful. The location was great, very close to the train station and Lake Geneva. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. The rooms were pretty standard, but spacious enough and comfortable.

I was very warm and couldn't figure out how to turn down the heat. I had to sleep with the window open. I would have liked a hotel with a spa, or some other amenities, but there wasn't much to do on the property.

The staff were really wonderful at The New Midi, even letting me check in much earlier than the check-in time, as I had arrived earlier in the morning. The room was a great size for one person and the bed was very comfortable. The shades did a wonderful job of darkening the room and the street below was a quiet one, allowing for a great combination of a wonderful night's rest. The location of the hotel is absolutely wonderful! The breakfast was also very good, although I didn't realize at the time that it wasn't included in the price of the room.

The lighting in the room, specifically in the bedroom part of the room, wasn't the best. Without the light from the window, it was rather dark in there.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was comfortable and clean. The location was really great - right next to the river and tons to eat and drink within walking distance. The pros very much out weighed the very minor cons.

The only thing that could've been improved was that the shower in our room was slow to drain, so you ended up standing in a tub full of water by the end. And the AC worked but it never really got as cool as you'd want it for sleeping (we were there during a heat wave though, so it's understandable). Overall, nothing bad enough to keep me from staying again.

the location is excellent. We walked around the lake. The room and the bed very comfortable. We didn't try the breakfast because we didn't see the offer online in the selection of the rooms. the staff immediately provided us the transportation free pass. The inner design is revolutionary, using art everywhere. This give a touch of class to the place. It's a cozy place. I will come back there.

They need to promote more the breakfast option in the selection online. This is not well promoted. Besides they can announce that the water at the tap is safe. Drinking water is not enough at the room.
