Well, the view was outstanding and one we wont forget. The host was helpful and friendly - we had a very tired 3 year old but the host wasn't phased by his behaviour! The apartment was spacious. The only think lacking was a kettle - but I think that's an Italian thing? We made do with the other equipment. The parking was great and the breakfast/hotel/their staff were fab. We wanted to be near to San Gimignano so a bus would have been fantastic but not your issue! Thank you. Casa Lari is beautiful - well kept, spotless, quiet, pretty - just perfect for a relaxed holiday. Well done.

Just the lack of a kettle and no public transport - but not your issue! Also, it states a laundry but it wasn't working, so maybe remove from the description.

Apartment was clean and tidy, had everything we needed for 2 nights. Beds comfortable.

We were 5 kms from San Gimignano, we hired a car, however I think we could have used the local bus..you will need transport Also power was out on our very early departure morning, luckily we had not parked the hire in accommodation carpark as it was electric gate and we would have been stuck.

Casa Lari is an absolute gem! 10 minutes outside of San Gimignano and within 1 hr driving distance to Siena or Florence. It offers wonderful Tuscan views and a lovely spacious apartment with a/c and kitchenette. The daily breakfast is very Italian but plenty with different jams and delicious pastries. You make your own espresso or coffee. All is provided. The staff is wonderful. Small pool was very refreshing for our kids after a day of sightseeing.

The term Tuscan holiday has a special meaning now. The view enjoyed on the balcony with the coffee surpasses the presentation photos. The bottle of Chianti offered by Andrea, the owner of Casa Lari warmed the welcome in the elegant room and the recommendations for dinner led us to other delightful places such as the Antica Fonte restaurant. The daily cleaning and the basket of chopsticks with breakfast impress even the usual lovers of a copious and extended breakfast. because you never have enough time to fully taste Tuscany, and any perfect day trip starts with a pass through San Gimnignano, the medieval town that guards a stone's throw from Casa Lari.

The location, while remote, is superb! The views from our balcony across the valley were fantastic. The pool, while small and shallow, did provide relief from the heat the days end.

The small negative was our room entry/exit was always through the main reception.

The apartment had an incredible view from the terrace. The space was large enough and well-equipped. Besides, we were impressed by the gift (a bottle of wine) that the hosts gave us on arrival. :)

Great place, large apartments, great views, good location. Very family friendly. Nice pool for the kids (although by end of September it was too cold too to swim in).

The bed in the master bedroom was a bit hard. The very limited hours for key collection added stress when we encountered traffic along the way ( they are very fair and communicated this in advance, but it did add stress when we knew we had to be there by 6 and couldn't take any additional stops in the way when we encountered a lot of traffic.

The view from the balcony was superb! Overlooking the Tuscan landscape whilst sipping a glass of chianti...you can't beat it. San Gimignano is only 10min up the road as well. The host was fantastic and met us on arrival. He showed us around the apartment and explained where everything was. Also, gave us a welcome gift...a bottle of chianti. Overall, a wonderful short stay! Thank you.

Fantastic view. Very clean and has all kitchen equipment provided. Basket of breakfast food, water, Juice, coffee delivered daily with fresh bakery items. Easy check in. Nice pool, little bit small but wasn't busy so not an issue. Used local restaurants as recommended by staff, the food and ambience of them were excellent. Very relaxing, quiet location. Plenty towels.

Beds were hard. Car parking space very tight.

Very beautiful view and big apartament!

Italian breakfast only with sweets which is disturbing if you are on a special diet as it gives you no options. Also the facilities are old, eg. shower not working properly. Bad insulation (or I would say no insulation) as you could hear your neighbor snoring.
