Enjoyed the ease of checking in. I was sent multiple emails detailing how to get access and at what time. And then when my room was ready I was sent a text message. No dealing with people at a front desk, just enter your code and you're in. We usually bring a noise machine to sleep with and that drowned out any noises from the downstairs bar. We were on the 3rd floor so the noise was muted to begin with. But being a Saturday evening there were people enjoying themselves at the 1901 Lounge. Just be aware of that before booking.

I did notice a slight odor on one of the pillow cases we were using. Not sure if it was the pillow itself or the case didn't get washed well. The bed was a little uncomfortable as it's an innerspring mattress and getting towards the end of its lifespan. But I still slept well.

The room was large and very comfortable. I booked a king room but was given a double queen room, which wasn’t that big of a deal. There was a nice outdoor courtyard bar with live music and also a cozy bar inside.

I was on the second floor, and really my only complaint was that because the floors aren’t carpeted (which I loved) I could hear every step the people made in the room above me. There was a lot of noise later in the evening from outside, but that was because it was a Saturday night and the hotel is conveniently located in the cute historical part of town and within close proximity to a lot of other venues.

The room was very clean and very comfortable. It was very easy to check in and contact the representative for any questions. The location was perfect, walkable to all the local shops and restaurants.

The noise was a minor issue. The train that comes through is very loud, it is only blocks from the train station. It blows its horn in the middle of the night. Safety first, but fyi. There is a bar downstairs and another across the parking lot that were very loud on Friday night. There is not a designated hotel parking lot.

Loved the decorating and the comfortable beds! Room was generously spacious and clean. Bathroom was nicely appointed . WONDERFUL location!!!!! Walk to shops food yoga and old train station. Truly picturesque surroundings.

The bathroom had great intentions, but shower could have been cleaner, shower head was loose, and water pressure lackluster. ** Bartender tried to scam us —beware. Double charged us and then said a gentleman that had just left put his (exact same ?) drinks on our tab. 🙄 Really?? Check your receipt!!!!!**

The hotel has a lot character and has a great location with the majority of restaurants/shopping in walking distance.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom queen suite. The living room areas did not have cocktail table... just a couch, 1 end table, and a small refrigerator under the TV with a coffee maker on top. It was very awkward for 2 folks drinking coffee. My suggestion... a small rectangle coffee table or bigger piece of furniture, under the tv to have a place to put personal items and make it easier to make the coffee.

Clean, convenient location. When we finally spoke to the housekeeper she was pleasant and helpful. We also spoke to one of the owners … nice gentleman.

It’s more of an Airbnb. There is no receptionist, no ice machine, and our room had a bed, 2 nightstands, and a small frig…and 2 luggage racks, but no place to put anything. The bathroom was clean but again, no space to put anything to make it convenient to shave or put on makeup. It may be better in another year but right now it felt a little unfinished. The owner and the housekeeper were pleasant but I would have preferred a little more human connection. We spoke to another guest who was surprised to know they weren’t the only people staying there. It was rather strange. We had to ask for clean towels, etc…they were provided immediately but it was just strange to have to ask for things you expect to be provided.

No microwave Dedicated parking spots for hotel guests should be considered. Parking is in downtown district/first come first serve.

Convenient for town bars and restaurants Comfy room and bathroom with quality touches throughout from great TV for streaming and heated well lit mirror in bathroom.

Self service checkin is AirBnB style with no reception desk, pay attention to welcome emails for access codes and Booking does not pass them your payment details so you have to do 2nd payment step to get room access code. Nice Keurig in the room, but a 6oz double espresso cup for making 8, 10 or 12oz coffee a bit wrong! If you’re a light sleeper the hotel is 100 yards from then train track where freight rumbles through with horns at the many crossings all night. Also there’s a bar next door which runs loudly till 2am and then puts out the glass trash after close.

There we no food amenities, I went to a nearby cafe and picked up food.

No grab bars in bathroom nor shower High step from bedroom to bathroom ( fall risk for my 81 year old mom) Room was farther from elevator even though I asked for handicap accessibility. I felt we should have gotten a room closer to the elevator. My mom is 81 and mobility is an issue for her. It was a lot of walking to get to our room.

The room was very clean and had been recently updated. The shower was large and nice. The bed was comfortable. Great location - easy to walk to restaurants. Found parking nearby.

With it being an older building plugs were a bit limited. They added a 6 plug adapter to help address this but they could have also had a wall mirror in that same area of our room to make it easier to fix hair, etc while partner was in the bathroom. One overhead light didn't come on - maybe bulb was burnt out?
