Great position in the old town. Loved the dark wood floors of room, very calming and elegant. Good sized room. Comfortable beds. Nice breakfast. Great views from terrace.

Large gap under door meant of lot of corridor noise, particularly in the morning when groups were exiting early. More of a group hotel than we had imagined. Roof terrace had a great view but wasn't really an integral part of the building - you get to it via an exterior spiral fire staircase from the ground floor, slightly awkward if anxious about heights. No food served up there whilst we stayed in October, so photos a bit misleading as we had hoped to take breakfast on the terrace. Breakfast was decent but the single staff member on duty was willing but overwhelmed by need for replenishment. There was a half-terrace option by the breakfast room for a bit of a view.

I left this hotel with a heavy heart. It almost felt like home to me even for the short time (3 nights) I was there. Its location is the best location one could ever ask for, right at the heart of the old town just walking distance to all of Khiva’s historical sites. The room was spacious, everything worked perfectly including the heater, wifi, everything. The staff here are some of the kindest I’ve met in Uzbekistan and probably in all my travels. Jalol and the rest of the staff were all warm, accommodating, and always smiling. The breakfast was filling and could fuel up for the rest of the day.

A great location in the Ichan Qala. A spacious room with a good bed, full bath bathroom. A kettle for tea and coffee and.a fridge. There is a water dispenser in the hall and a jug and glasses in the room. The staff were most helpful with a late check-in, restaurant recommendations, and arranging taxis.

We truly enjoyed our 3 nights 4 days stay in this hotel. Its location is perfect, inside the fortress of the Old City. All places of interest was within walking distance. From its terrace, we can see nearly all Khiva's monuments including the iconic Kilta Minor Minaret. Breakfast was delicious & nutritious. Simply love the decor of the dining room (traditional Uzbek decor). The service of the staff is excellent esp Mr Nadhir at the reception counter, always smiling & ready to help. He arranged our transport for our early morning flight (Urgench airport). Highly recommended hotel!

Great location in the centre of the old city of Khiva. The hotel had really helpful and friendly reception staff, and all the team members were super helpful: cleaning staff and catering staff. I needed to adjuct my airline booking and a member of the reception team- Jamsid- could not have been more helpful in providing assistance. We had a very comfortable room and a could use a wonderful roof terrace. Wifi worked for the most part but was better in the lobby area. Breakfasts were great and offered a good choice. I recommend this as a super choice for a stay in Khiva

A superb location right in the old town, next to all the sights. Spent some chill time on the rooftop terrace looking over the mosques and madrasas, drinking coffee and enjoying the sun. The room was quite large and even had a bathtub, the bed were comfy, and the staff was super nice and helpful.

The room was a bit dusty and the power sockets were weirdly placed - none near the kettle, so I had to move it. Also, no water bottles were provided and I wished for more variety in the breakfast. The Wi-fi was quite bad esp in the evening - please work on improving the signal. All in all, I'd say it's quite nice but overpriced a little for Uzbekistan.

This hotel has to have the best location in all of Khiva, to walk to all the sights.....and the view out of our window....wow what an amazing place! Make sure you climb up to the terrace....worth the stair climb! Comfortable bed, excellent wifi, good shower, some may have problems with climbing into a high bath though. Breakfast was traditional with instant coffee that was actually quite nice and Bilol the attendant @ breakfast was very good. Water was readily available from dispensers on each floor, which was much appreciated. Stairs only to upper floor but staff were very helpful with our luggage, thank you :)

Breakfast was varied with something for everyone but it would help if there were signs in English with the food names/descriptions :)

Front desk staff amazing. Jamshid went above and beyond and made our stay truly memorable. The apartment was large with wonderful views and well worth the money. The hotel location was excellent. We would absolutely stay here again.

Breakfast was a little lacking in inspiration. There were no vegetables dishes on offer and no local rice porridge as in other hotels in Uzbekistan; it was disappointing.

We had a great stay at Arkanchi Hotel! The location was FANTASTIC! We were blown away when we first went up to the terrace and saw the view. Located inside the old city it was a quick walk to all monuments. We enjoyed getting lost in all the alleyways and no matter where we ended up it was always quick to get back to the hotel. Staff were very nice and accomodated all our needs. The breakfast buffet was very nice. Our room was very nice and spacious with a view of Kalta Minaret. We would happily recommend staying at Arkanchi Hotel in Khiva!

Everything. The room, the space. The warmth inside the hotel. Peace and quiet. Available drinkable water at demand. A fridge wuth a freezer for ice.The location just steps of everything to see. Their taxi service is excellent. Their command of English very good!

Breakfast could be better if hot food was kept warm and you didnt have to pay extra for a capuccino (unlike all other hotels) Have breakfast before a group or you may find little left.
