the hotel considers one of the legendary locations in Doha. from the moment of check-in and check-out. all the staff were super friendly and helpful. the pool and beach were perfect for family escape. the restaurants inside the hotel are remarkable and my kids insist on coming back again to the same hotel. all the rooms are having the same qualities and the views on all the sides are great. you will receive extra discount if you are a Mariotte Bonvoy member. my reservation was having an issue with short notice, and it was resolved immediately by the front disk. it was highly appreciated even my comments regarding my reservation was done in no time. Valet parking is fast in spite of Eid season. Palace Vendome and Qatar Quest is located 15 min away.

the balcony needs attention for cleaning. views are amazing either city / skyline / beach.

Prior Sheraton Grand Doha I have spent 3 nights in Kempinski Marsa Malaz at Pearl. On my own opinion the Sheraton is better choice in many respects including value for money and customer service. Almost perfect location, layout of the property’s territory, well trained and customer’s oriented staff makes this hotel very good choice for solo and family travelers. Shopping mall and metro station are located in 15-20 minutes walking distance. Cornish promenade and park are located in few steps from the hotel. I was planning to stay 4 nights and then moved to Four Seasons located almost next to Sheraton in 800 meters but change my mind and decided to extend my stay at Sheraton for extra 3 nights. There are prompt and effective communication and issues solving.

I had half board booking which included Ramadan dinner in nice lobby restaurant. At my first and the sixth dinner visits the girl at the restaurant entry has tried to deny entry to this particular restaurant but this issues had been resolved immediately and in very polite manner by the management.

I didn’t like how security would profile people walking in for security checks. If rules are made, it should be applied to everyone and followed by everyone, and not applied in a discretionary way. I respect all kinds of security protocols and have no problem with it, but what I have a problem with is when people are treated differently based of whatever reason. I felt like a second class guest.

We had a lovely stay at the Sheraton. The hotel itself is gorgeous and the rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. We got upgraded to a sea view room. There are a lot facilities in the hotel. It has a small private beach, swimming pool area, watersport area and much more. The staff was very friendly and was always willing to go the extra mile. Our 2 year old son was sick and they gave him special attention like getting him fruits at breakfast, which weren''t part of the buffet. Especially Ei Phyu was wonderful and very attentive during the breakfasts. On the last day, they even gave us cake, which was a real nice gesture. We really felt welcome and would definitely book again.

The music at the beach is way too loud. It's not clear if alcohol was being served at the beach, but there was a drunk lady on our first day, which was kind of disturbing (not necessarily hotels fault though).

Our main enjoyment was sitting on our balcony watching the dhows go by - so peaceful especially at night with the twinkling lights across the water. The room was spacious with very comfortable beds and a separate sitting area with TV, sofa and chairs. It would be nice if it was all inclusive as dining was expensive and not even breakfast was included. It is a beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean with wonderful staff, but you need to be aware of cost - it is not a cheap location.

The fact that you always had to be aware how much you were spending.

We couldn't get the two rooms connected, which was a big hassle since our idea was to have our three kids in one room with the baby monitors (as we do at home) and be right next door through the connecting door. It wasn't given to us. It was requested at the booking and stated that it'd depend on availability. I think that was a mistake on their part. It should have been given as a pariority, not only for ourselves but for other guests who may have been in the rooms next to ours (noisier) than if only one room was bothered by "kids next door"

The hotel is excellent from all points of view: location, services, facilities and atmosphere. We frequently travel all over the world and have seen many accommodations, but this hotel is by far the best we have ever stayed in.

We were asked to leave the hotel on short notice, after 7 out of our 10-day stay, because an international delegation was coming. Even if we were offered similar conditions at another 5-star hotel, it was not the same as at Sheraton, because an important thing was missing there: high class.

Everything from the check in till check out was perfect. Once I arrived I was greeted by Shevali and then directed to Aruzhan who send personalized welcome letter to my room, which was very nice to receive. Then Mr. Jaskirat called me to ensure that I like the room and if AC was working properly (last time when I stayed in this property AC had some issues & they still remembered that!). Trough out the stay I was greeted everywhere with smiles & even thou I stayed alone, I felt very comfortable there. Again thank you Aruzhan, Jaskirat, Shefali & others who made my stay amazing.

The room is perfect with sea view, the beach is excellent with shade of the building in the afternoon. I definitely recommended to my friends and make sure to be back. The Staff is very friendly from the parking staff to check in counter and to check out counter with Welcome Eid Mubarak Cake, chocolate treats, balloon and colouring activity for my Son. The most unique was the Arab Guy who was offering welcome teas he is very approachable.

As a Filipino we used to eat Rice on breakfast so at least Pasta is available. Good thing beacon, eggs, waffle, pancake, fruits, salad is an alternative.

Great location, exceptional staff, nothing was too much trouble for them from check in to check out. Upgrade to corner suite was fantastic, beautiful sea and some city views were amazing. The staff at breakfast are so attentive helpful and friendly, good selection catering for most nationalities.
