Maria is very kind and friendly while being professional. She answered all my questions and fulfilled any request or question I had. The woman who was about to clean the bottom garage and my room was also very friendly and was still kind when I told her I was sorry and couldn't leave as much tip for her ( i wasn't paying attention while shopping for my mother). I would definitely stay there again and make sure i put aside the tip this time so it reflects the amount they should of received.

There was nothing I did not like.

The town was quiet and quaint, just like the cottage. The unit we stayed in was clean, air conditioned and contained the necessities of staying in a cottage such as a nicely equipped kitchen for cooking/eating. It was very clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows/blankets were very comfy. For a small cottage, it was nice and roomy. The housekeeper was there and helped us with our questions. There was even a w/d for our use as well as a grill and table/chairs for us on the patio.

We liked it all - what wasn't not to like? All the comforts of home.

Traditional property with lots of charm. It was nice to have tea, coffee, creamer etc. In the cupboard on arrival. Great location, just a few minutes walk to main shops and restaurants. Plenty of parking space.

If you are looking for somewhere with very up to date facilities then this place isn't for you. We prefer somewhere with character so it was perfect for us.

Evreything that you needed was in the cottage.Hair dryer, iron, kitchen necessities, etc. Good AC, back deck to sit outside. Loved the old character of the building. The doors, cabinets, farmhouse sink. Took me back in time. All very clean! Quiet area

If anything at all, a screen door on the front to help keep the bugs out when opening the door.

The location to downtown Mount Dora was great. we parked the car and walked everywhere. The cottage was spacious and a french theme . Nice kitchen if you want to cook. The bed was comfortable.

The bathroom water pressure. The outside noise, you can hear every conversation, and someone had a loud motorcycle outside the bedroom window.

The property was so cute, clean, and it’s location was excellent! The best part was Maria (owner). She was so kind and available every time I had a question. I will definitely come back to Historic Tremain Cottage when visiting Mount Dora.

Nothing! I wish there were more wall outlets in the bedrooms but that’s an easy fix. I’ll just bring an extension cord with me next time. This property is wonderful and I hope I can stay here again.

The location was so convienant to the downtown area. The apartment was well equipped. They left coffee and filters as well as sugar and creamer for morning coffee. The linen in both the bathroom and bedroom were super white, super clean. I will plan on staying here again on my next visit.

I think a couple bottles of water in the refrigerator would have been a great touch. It appears they think about everything, and this is one thing that would stand out.

This cottage was super quiet and clean. It is walking distance to the shops and restaurants. Ample parking and very nice neighborhood.

The only minor thing I would change is the refrigerator makes a clunking noise every so often.

We arrived a little earlier than check in time. I called Maria, and she said go on inside, no extra charge. We entered to the most clean, large living room. To the left, a well appointed kitchen. The two bedrooms, and bathroom was so clean. Everything was as we expected since we stayed in their other apartment last month.

There is not anything I did not like.

This cottage is within walking distance to downtown Mount Dora, which is why we chose it. That sure beats getting in and out of a car. The property is truly vintage but was as clean as could be and pretty much everything we needed was in place. We appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. Cons: The comfy chair near the bed was impossible to sit in, so we mostly sat in the king size bed. Our unit was on the first floor, which meant hearing the second floor guests as they walked up and down the stairs and across the room. However, that is to be expected. The lockbox with the key was extremely difficult to open. After fussing with it for 15 minutes we finally called management and they promptly answered, pointed out we were trying to open it the wrong way! The overall area is quiet, at least when we visited. We did find three excellent restaurants in the two nights/three days we were there. Be sure to find the public park with a boardwalk partly around the walk, and keep your eyes out for alligators (far below you)!
