Value and comfort of the rooms

Locked lobby, unfriendly evening check in. No protein at the breakfast (even some peanut butter or boiled eggs would have been good.) Don't serve the El Monterey burritos! They are disgusting. Shower (room 102) had major peeling of ceiling in the bathroom!

Dirty, dirty, need to keep up with the cleaning better. The bedspread has some kind of red stain on it. Unsanitary. And even though they blew the hallways they are filthy. You can't go out of the room without getting your feet black. Just a little more attention to detail would be phenomenal. I did enjoy my stay though.

The staff was friendly and professional.

While the room was clean it needed work. The bathtub had rust in it. The molding seal around the shower was not sealed properly and had mold on it. The bathroom door inside the bathroom was damaged and a piece was off door and molding. The door that led outside had about a half inch gap. I had to put a towel in the opening so nothing would crawl in the room during the night. We were on the ground floor so it was a concern.

Good location for us. We had a chance to visit the downtown of Mount Dora, though you have to drive to the downtown. It is walkable to a few shops and restaurants. The hotel room had a good view of the water. The room itself was okay, typical older hotel, but clean.Thick towels, always a good sign. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Fresh fruit at breakfast!

It was an okay hotel, just dated.

I wasn’t expecting a lot of options for breakfast but we were actually surprised with all the variety. The hotel is also located next to a highway and provides easy accessibility to stores, restaurants, etc. The pool isn’t huge but we got lucky enough and got to enjoy big part of it when we went. Except for some cleaning issues, it was an overall good experience.

The room didn’t seem to be thoroughly clean. There was trash from previous guests on some of the sides of the beds, you couldn’t really see it unless you bent down (picture attached). We also found some clothes inside one of the drawers which means the staff didn’t really check all the areas and only cleaned the more superficial parts that meet the eye.

HandICAP bathroom had grab bars and flat floor in the shower.

Some staff members were very friendly and helpful. Others were NOT. Breakfast was so-so. Could have had a toaster/bread/bagels. Muffins, but no danish or pastry.

Lake was lovely. Sandhills Cranes came in the morning!

My room was too close to the road, so it had a horrible traffic sound. they natural bright new lightbulbs. I was hoping an airplane wouldn’t land out in the parking lot.

Loved the view and it was a nice place to stay. Reasonably priced

There was no fan in the bathroom and the carpet was dirty..need to change the floors, when you step out of the shower your feet get instantly dirty when you step on the carpet

The view was very nice. The location near stores like Target and Walmart is a Plus. The breakfast was very good. Maybe a outlet near the table would be better to connect my laptop.

I couldn't find how to freezing things. I need a mini bar with a section for freeze things, I use smallbags to carry insulin who should be frozen. temperature at the frigo bar wasn;t low enough.

For the price, the room was clean and comfortable. No problem at all.

For breakfast the juice and coffee was very bad 😣
