staff and room

We arrived late and after checking in we were told to go out and find our room. It was dark We got horribly lost and almost fell because it was so dark and paths were hard to see. We almost fell in pool. We are seniors. We had said ahead of time we were a late arrival. We should have been told to wait till someone could come with a vehicle to ride us to our room or walk us.

Having a spa and restaurant.

Dogs in eating areas; one was actually sitting in a chair licking the table. Servers were petting them and we were wondering if they would wash their hands before serving our food. Pets off leash on trails.

location and ambiance is excellent. fitness and hot tub, bar and convenience of all day dining is good. changing mgmt is apparent.

needed to request a location change, due to some screaming toddlers 1am-4am - teething or bad dreams and ill equipped single parent, in the room next door. Was accommodated and all was well for the next 7 nts of my stay. also, lamps in the rooms and the coffee makers often do not work and that is frustrating bc I come often and it has happened more than 2x. Finally, having coffee in cambro style self serve option would serve more people faster and be preferred for quick exit mornings. please consider upgrading gym w a Peloton or 2! I stay there for all of these reasons and use the gym to destress. They are $900 refurbished!

Room was spacious, Andrea at the front desk was fantastic and very helpful! We told her about a bulb in our room that was out and wine glasses on the rocks in front of our room and they were immediately addressed. The food, lattes, and food support employees were outstanding! We loved our stay and would stay again. Everything was so lovely and the premises were clean and cared for. Personnel are the best! It smells nice when you enter the lobby.

would have been nice if the gift shop was open

Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The grounds are well maintained with many types of indigenous cacti. I enjoyed the fitness center with most of the necessary weight training equipment, men’s and women’s large locker room. The property has a lap pool and 3 common Jacuzzi pools as well as recreational swimming pools near the rooms. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. A great value. I will return.

A little difficult to find your way around when checking in, but was not a problem after the first day.

Room is spacious. It has 2 double beds and a sofa bed which were very comfortable. It has a very nice bathroom. It has a mini refridge inside. I didn't hear any noise from outside. My friends and I had a restful night.

No microwave. The bottled water inside the room is very expensive, it's like $5 a bottle. Building looks and smells old. The hotel's restaurant we went to stinks; there were bugs and flies. My son did not enjoy his food because he saw the bugs and flies. :-) Pool water looks green/cloudy so we didn't go swimming.

Beautiful setting with lovely views. Well kept property with nice plantings and trails. Good restaurant

-Shower took a very long time to warm up (very wasteful of water considering desert setting) and never really got hot. -If put water bottle out next to coffee maker without a sign saying there is a charge for it, don't charge me for it. Put it in the fridge with a clear sign. Many hotels provide a free water so I did not like being charged $5 for this.

very comfortable and roomy with a nice king size bed and a patio with views of the desert in a spectacular setting of cacti in bloom blended in with colorful buildings and the Catalina mountains!

would have liked to have the gift shop which is now closed--breakfast was good on the patio with a nice view but they need to step to improve the dinner service with more choices, however the bar area was nice and had some offerings

Our room was on the large size with a nice outside deck area to enjoy. We took advantage of the heated pool and hot tub.

Some of the amenities are a bit tired and could use some updating. There is a very rough basketball court and slightly nicer volleyball court that could be in better shape. Lots of tennis courts some are pretty beat up. No pickleball courts though.

The room and grounds were beautiful. Close to many shops and restaurants. Comfortable furniture and bed. Staff was helpful and welcoming. In all a very nice experience and we will visit again.

It was the little things including no refrigerator, resort fee included things not available (valet) or not needed (local phone calls? Everyone has cell phones and who plays tennis in 100 degree temps). The tv remote did not work for both tvs. Room was not serviced the 2nd day had no coffee.
