Our stay at the Clarendon fulfilled all our wishes. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the staff took care of everything. The smallest things like remembering something you told the day before, to exquisite arrangements for tours. The breakfast, all day menu and snacks in the room were very tasteful. Daud and the rest of the staff did everything to make us have the best time. Making us laugh, giving us suggestions and looking out for our safety. The rooms are clean and beautiful. Daily fresh cold water, new towels and chocolate on your pillow ;) Furthermore the location is safe. Supermarket, beach and restaurants close by. We will definitely come back!

The bespoke service was second to none. Generous, delicious breakfast portions, clean towels offered regularly, hot water bottles (winter season), nightly treats left in our room (chocolates, cookies etc.) and daily afternoon teatime. Location is also perfect. Close enough to town but away from the business of the city. Pro- walking distance to the Mojo market Staff were super professional and courteous, as was the host. Our stay as a family of 4 (couple and 2 kids) was perfect!

Location is very good for both beaches and the city. The garden is so peaceful with two pools and a sunny aspect, well maintained and not too busy. Feels like you are in the country in the middle of the city. The staff make the place special, all are welcoming and friendly. In this area, the star of the show is named Gift, he fixed an early tricky little problem regarding the booking with great panache, and was ever present with his gentle banter which made it great fun to see him during our stay. Breakfast was great, and the view from the dining room over the gardens, city to sea was very tranquil. We look forward to staying in this lovely boutique hotel soon again.

The room was very comfortable with a great bed. Breakfast included a lovely continental spread but there were very nice hot items that could be ordered. The staff were incredibly attentive and cheerful. There is the loveliest man there named Gift who was always available to help out. What a treasure of an employee!

Our room faced a street so not as quiet as I would have liked. That said, the neighborhood was quiet so only traffic noise at certain times during the day and not all night long.

Loved the boutique hotel feel. Lovely pool and garden area and very modern/ stylish interiors. A special word has to go to Gift who went above and beyond to help us during our stay. We were last minute guests due to our flight being overbooked home. Even after we checked out, Gift set up everything we needed to ensure we could relax by the pool for the day, even giving us access to showers and lending a hair dryer so we were fresh for the airport! Thanks to the team!

The family room was large and had loads of cupboard space, the seperate interleading room for the boys was great, with a huge fatsak beanbag and exceptionally comfortable beds. Very clean and stylish decor. Huge main bed for adults, very comfortable. Breakfast was superb and the highlight was the afternoon tea with cake of the day. The kids especially loved the chocolate cake and Gift and his team gave exceptional service. Stunning outdoor solar lanterns during loadshedding at night were a plus. Very good location.

More inside parking would have been ideal, would have liked chairs and a table on the outside balcony instead of loungers, but that is merely personal preference and a desk to work at in the room. Gift and his team however did put a desk in for us when we asked...so well done! We loved our stay.

The hotel is very nice, has a small boutique hotel feeling. Stuff is amazing, they all know who you are. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our room was located on the same floor as the lobby so we could hear people outside, which specifically was frustrating early in the morning. Would be great to have a door with better isolation. But it’s only that one room that has the issue

Excellent overall! I cannot compliment the boutique hotel enough, the staff were brilliant, food was lovely and room were immaculate

Our bathroom was dated and showed signs of wear and tear but I got the impression that bathrooms were being refitted over a course of time at this hotel although it always very clean

The friendliness of the staff from walking onto the property was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious, spotless and so comfortable. The food at breakfast and round the pool was tasty and always had that home cooked feel. The gardens and pools were immaculate!! Overall, a fantastic experience and would well recommend!!! 5 star treatment!!!

Beautiful boutique hotel in great location. Super friendly staff, great breakfast, great family room - two separate rooms with very big bathroom( no. 25 ) with direct exit to the garden, there are 2 pools. Beautiful modern paintings, nice furniture. Highly recommended.
