The resort is stunning with amazing views overlooking the ocean. Although it was the slow season for them, the staff was still attentive, friendly, and overall welcoming. We dined at the restaurant, and the food was amazing and fresh! Breakfast is a must. I’m still thinking about that Caribbean French toast! So good…

The wild horses throughout the resort were a delightful surprise, and I absolutely loved that aspect. However, the lack of adequate lighting made it less enjoyable to walk back to my room at night. The horses often hung out at the back of the property near my room, and it was nerve wracking for my gf. We tried our best to avoid startling them in the dark. The horses will warn you if you get too close ha.

We loved everything about this property! It was quiet and clean. The views were amazing. The pool was fantastic. The location was perfect for us. Just a short walk or golf cart ride to town. The staff was very friendly and helpful in arranging transportation for our stay. They were very prompt at replying to email. The restaurant on site had great breakfast/ brunch (we went into town for dinners) We would highly recommend.

My only complaint is that I wish they provided a small cooler so you could pack for a day trip to the beach.

The facilities were top notch. The pool is gorgeous, the view in the morning is beautiful and the rooms are all that you'd want and more. The food was some of the best we've had in Puerto Rico, with the Mahi Mahi being the best fish I've tried in ages. The drinks were also great and the staff were extremely attentive. One of my family members had an accident and they helped us with all we needed. Truly great.

The beach in front of the hotel is small, but that isn't really an issue since there are great beaches a small drive away. The hotel is hard to contact by phone since there's not always someone at the Front Desk, but all the other pros outweight that tremendously.

We celebrated my husband's birthday at Blue Horizon, and from the moment we arrived, we felt like VIPs. Resort hosts and David greeted us warmly, upgraded us to a stunning sea-facing villa, and even surprised my husband with a delicious homemade lava cake hidden in the room. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to make us feel at home. During lunch, David and Erik surprised us again with a complimentary cheesecake for the birthday boy, which was the perfect way to end a perfect meal. But the true star of the show was the place itself. The views from our villa were simply breathtaking - endless turquoise waters, lush greenery, and the sound of waves crashing against the shore. It felt like we had stepped into a postcard paradise. We spent our days exploring hidden coves, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, and simply relaxing on our private balcony, soaking in the view and the incredible service. Blue Horizon exceeded all our expectations and made my husband's birthday truly unforgettable. We can't wait to return and experience it all again. If you're looking for a luxurious and unforgettable escape, look no further!

The location, the grounds, the restaurant, the pool, and especially the incredible staff were all outstanding! Nicole, Early, Dave, and Veronica were so friendly, kind, attentive, and just all-around wonderful! We only stayed for a night, but I felt as if I had made some life-long friends. The environment and overall vibe was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived! The place is old, and being right on the sea makes it quite rustic (but kept up very well). If we ever get back to the beautiful island of Vieques, this is where we will stay!

The room itself was wonderful but needed some attention. Some outlets weren't working and it needed some mats by the doors so you don't track in the sand and mud from the beach and grass. Very minor stuff.

This property was gorgeous! The location was spectacular, the infinity pool was amazing and very clean. You can sit by the pool and be surrounded by wildlife - native birds, butterflies, even wild horses stroll by while you have an uninterrupted view of the ocean beyond. The beds were very comfortable, the service was amazing, the breakfast was delicious, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Just an exceptional experience!

Not too far from town but I would recommend renting a Jeep or a golf cart to be able to visit everything you want to see on the island.

I loved the property. And Veronica at the front desk was amazing. She helped find us a driver, which was super helpful for our time in Vieques. The bartender made delicious pina coladas, and the room was spacious. Loved it!

No one answered the phones! I called 11 times, and no one picked up. We were stranded at the airport with no taxi driver until someone from the information booth was able to find one. It was very frustratiing to not have anyone pick up the phone.

Location was great! Beautiful view and quiet area for relaxing. Pool was nice and clean. Nice that the place is adults only. Restaurant was delicious. Bed was comfortable. Loved the dual large showers! The room was more spacious than I expected. Staff was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Would have preferred a door on the bathroom for privacy using the toilet. Lots of mosquitos in the room even though we kept getting rid of them. Got lots of bites. Maybe a mosquito net on the bed would have helped, or better sealing of the room so bugs can't get in.

The property was secluded with wonderful views. The free roaming horses, chickens, and roosters added to the ambience. The restaurant served wonderful food. The infinity pool was relaxing.

Many of the staff seemed unfriendly. They would have conversations in Spanish between themselves while waiting on me (ie check in). When I tried to use my Spanish which many have told me is good (I'm not fluent, but I only speak Spanish with my friend/neighbor back home, so I know enough to hold a conversation), thry seemed uninterrsted or even annoyed. Only one staff member, a housekeeper, indulged me with a smile. Valerie, the restaurant hostess/server was very friendly as well.
