The hotel is very modern and new, the atmosphere was very nice especially at night. the bed was comfortable and the room was always very clean. They have free breakfast and the pastries are very good. The staff was very nice and helpful, they were ready to help anytime.

It is a townhouse style hotel where you have a garden inside the building. While we where there it was raining so we had to have umbrellas ready at our room doorstep, otherwise we'd gotten wet just to go to breakfast/reception. They also said there is free parking but it's actually only street parking, which was a bit misleading. It would be more acceptable to have the hotel facilities written as having no parking, as the hotel does not actually own private areas to park.

This was a wondeful stylish hotel experience which matched my mental image of LA. I really enjoyed both the room with its modern slickness and the use of the shared spaces. The staff were really friendly and I took advantage of their bike program. Despite not loving the location, I would return.

The location isn't great: Culver City has a good down town and metro access but it's some distance away from the hotel. I found myself driving a lot (or cycling 20+ minutes to get to the metro) - part of the LA experience, just not the one I wanted.

The rooms were very clean and high technology. We were able to use oven and microwave, which made a huge difference. The room cleaned everyday very well.

The breakfast might include more protein options. It was mostly carbs.

A new little boutique hotel with a modern design. We particularly liked the atrium with swing chairs and a fire pit. A simple breakfast was provided: coffee, oats, pastries, and fruits, but no cooked food. The hotel is located in Culver City, a chic area with a lot to explore. It is easy to get around other places/attractions. Santa Monica is only a 15- 20-minute drive away, and other areas, such as the Hollywood sign, Getty Centre, etc., are also within half an hour. Free street parking in a safe area. The staff were very friendly.

The shower didn't work due to a blockage, and they couldn't fix it until the last day of our stay (and sadly, after some maintenance work, the water pressure was still pretty low). They offered another room in the meantime, but it was smaller, and we struggled to fit two 28” suitcases in, so we ended up staying in our initial room. They can also be pretty slow in responding to messages via Booking.com, but when we went to the front desk, they were always happy to help.

Clean, free parking in surroundings, good location to get to the airport, nice coutyard with outdoor sitting and music.

1. There were no disposable slippers or toothbrushes provided. 2. The room lacked carpeting, making it chilly to walk barefoot. 3. The tap water left a slippery residue on my hands and didn't rinse off easily. Perhaps it's due to high mineral content. 4. The room was quite small with a tiny sink. 5. There was a spiderweb in the corner above the door, though it didn't disrupt my stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mayumi LA, and I can confidently say it was one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences I've ever had. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home. The staff at Mayumi LA were absolutely exceptional. Their kindness, helpfulness, and attention to detail were truly commendable. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was a delightful treat, offering a light and delicious selection of options that perfectly fueled my day. The room was beautifully appointed, clean, and provided everything I needed for a relaxing stay. While Mayumi LA is located a bit outside of the bustling LA city center, it offers a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere that is ideal for those seeking a more relaxed experience. The hotel's convenient parking and the serene surrounding area made it the perfect choice for my visit. Overall, my stay at Mayumi LA was nothing short of perfect. It was the ideal combination of comfort, hospitality, and a serene setting. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay in Los Angeles.

The showers steam was a bit weak

The location in Culver City was really good. A lot of places to go to for food. Parking was easy in nearby streets.

Breakfast was minimal. Room wasn't soundproof and you could hear every footstep and other things from above neighbours. Room was on the smaller side.

The hotel is very fresh, everything is new, with fancy lights controls in the room, nice bathroom design. The location is also great, since it's close to the LAX, and then you can drive elsewhere quite easily. Parking is available on the street on the "first come first serve" basis, but it looks like there's usually a spot available.

Breakfast was functional at best, but it was free, so hey, no real complaints. Besides a large shopping area nearby there's not much to see on foot, but let's face it, if you're in LA you need to have a car, it's not the most walkable city in the US.

The check in staff are friendly and informative. The included perk of continental breakfast with oatmeal and fruit option was nice to have prior to our sightseeing adventures. We took bottled waters to our room every night from the fridge in the kitchen. (it was included in the room rate) Parking on the street adjacent to the property felt safe and it was free. (we could see our car from our room above) The room is small however the layout and storage was designed for maximum efficiency. I was impressed!!! There is a grocery store with strip mall across the street where you can purchase lunch/snack items so you won’t starve while waiting on the road in LA traffic. (I believe there was also a Target store in that mall) The guests we met while staying at Mayumi were low key chill type souls. We enjoyed their company and spontaneous conversation while sitting around the breakfast counter. We could not sit outdoors in the tranquil courtyard as it was raining and cold during our stay. We shall definitely return to Mayumi if LA is on our list of destinations anytime soon.
