The staff, especially Maria were wonderful. We had been impacted by the global outage at the airlines and on top of that had a medical emergency. Maria was incredibly helpful . Also the location was perfect as we didn’t have a car and there were so many restaurants, pharmacy and close to medical help.

It would have been a lot better to have two beds. Instead we had an inflatable mattress that had a cord we had to step over in the middle of the night. Also there was barely any room to get around it. A roll out cot would have been better although the mattress was confortable, I was unable to sit up to read as the extension cord meant it was in the middle of the room. This was the only downside. Staff were all just so helpful I still would return .

Excellent location in Culver City. Fun funky vibe. Superb people at check-in. Nice to get the coupon for a free drink. We did enjoy the restaurant.

Room 214 has a bad problem with humidity. Sheets and furnishings feel damp. Towels do not dry during the day or overnight. My husband said it felt like a room that had recently been flooded with all those residual moisture. Staff did help on our final day there by installing a dehumidifier as we had requested bringing humidity down from 85% to 58% Upgraded garden view room 108 can be loud since it adjoins the restaurant and nightlife space. Little storage for non-hanging clothing.

Loved the attention from the staff and the wonderful servers and staff at the Simonette. The food is AMAZING and the Nespresso coffee machine in the room was great! The rainshower showerhead was AMAZING! LOVED that I could open the window and let the fresh air into the room! Room freshened up each day which made me feel so special. Loved having the Shampoo, Conditioner and Shower Gel in the shower as well as having a special face washcloth

- No creamer in the room for coffee (not a huge deal) - No fitness center onsite or info about fitness center options - The rooms are a tad small and I kept stubbing my toes on the bedframe legs

Right by the historic / famous Culver Hotel, this property boasts the Simonette bistro that we all enjoyed during our stay. We had two rooms for 3 adults because my mom was traveling with us. Morgan greeted us as soon as we entered the lobby and assigned us our rooms. Her dedication and courtesy during this holiday weekend won us over! She and Jesse made our stay so much cozier and warmer. Everything is walking distance: restaurants, shops, grocery store (Trader Joe’s)! Very convenient location and cozy rooms, with luxury toiletries in sleek and chic bathrooms. If you’re in town on the weekend try Simonette’s brunch. Their (French approved!) French toast is sooo tasty! It was worth missing breakfast for this treat! The cleaning staff and valet was friendly and welcoming throughout our 4-night stay. I would stay here again!

A suggestion common to most hotels: - a kettle to make tea in the room NEXT to the expresso machine - more hooks in the bathroom to hang towels and clothes

The staff and location blew our expectations out of the water! We were just in passing and ended up falling in love with this place. We were experiencing some major car issues so unexpectedly ended up having to stay at this hotel for 2 nights. The staff was so empathetic and made the whole mess of our situation beautiful. Morgan, the assistant GM, is literally an angel! Major kudos to her and her ability to be sucha positive force. I definitely would go back to visit and stay nowhere else but here. The restaurant below is also amazing!!

Great place to stay in Culver City! The staff were really attentive and helpful, the bar/restaurant were great and our room was small, but comfortable. The space is cute and trendy, but with care put into the details (lovely amenities, nice bedding, etc). Adding a note that the staff were great in accommodating my request to move rooms (see note below).

The first room they put us in was basically in the restaurant. It was crazy loud and the windows opened into the bar. Thankfully, after speaking with the staff, they moved us to another room far removed from the bar area and that was lovely. But be advised that some of the rooms on the first floor are quite noisy and the only window in the space opens to a public restaurant. Valet parking is also crazy expensive ($48/day), and while I don't know that this is specifically the hotel's fault, something to note if you have a car.

First off, upon entering the hotel, I was greeted by Faith. She was smiling, friendly, and engaged me into a nice conversation about my travels and about the hotel and its restaurant. She was outstanding! The hotel is located just across the way (a few minutes walk) to the City Steps and Culver City Studios. It was great to be able to have a French Bakery, Philz Coffee, and Mendocino Farms all within a less than 5 minute walk. There were LOTS of other choices as well in the area, including the restaurant and bar in the hotel. The room was very comfortable and well-appointed. We are so happy to have found this special place!

It would have been nice to have a few of the snacks be complimentary. We didn’t use anything but coffee (which was indeed complimentary), but that snack basket looked awfully good!

The location is perfect if you're traveling to Culver City. I loved the bar and restaurant area - part of the restaurant is outdoors with trees, which makes for a relaxing meal. Breakfast: I never thought oatmeal could be so good! Coffee is excellent. The service is spectacular. These people work so hard. Sarah and Becky were standouts. I cannot say enough about how great the staff is - everyone from the restaurant/bar staff, front desk, kitchen, room cleaners. I felt welcomed and cared about during my stay. I hope to be back someday!

Note these are minor issues: occasional smells - maybe from the carpet? Also, noise from the school (garden view room). If you're trying to work from the room, both can be a bit disturbing, but definitely not deal killers

The room was great! Very clean and very large comfortable shower. The TV was good. It was a very quite space. Lots of tempting items in the refrigerator but I abstained, LOL. Prices where sky high for the little treats.

The price is very HIGH, LOL. It was nice but you pay for it for sure. I'm guess I'm spoiled traveling outside of the USA and getting a whole apartment for $250 or less per week instead of one room for night.

The location can't be beat if you're visiting someone in Culver City. The restaurant and bar downstairs are delightful unless you have a room on the first floor The parking attendants couldn't have been nicer allowing me to park infront of the hotel after the valet was closed.

This the second time we have stayed there and BOTH times the hallways and room smell musty... a bit moldy. I have to say that by the end of my 2 day stay, I felt congested and was definitely not ill... it was the environment.
