We were at this hotel for a wedding across the road and for that purpose the location was fab, its literally across the road! The room we were in was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were super helpful and went above and beyond by helping us hide the bride for 30 mins before the wedding across the road even though they were not staying at the hotel. We didn't book for breakfast but the pub looked nice and very accommodating

car park is a little muddy in some areas but nothing to complain about

We were there for a family wedding across the road -and had booked most of the rooms in the hotel. The staff were all very helpful, both beforehand and during the weekend, with Georgia especially going out of her way to look after us brilliantly. She spent a long time with me, a few days before the wedding showing me the rooms and helping me to allocate them and was so patient and incredibly efficient about every detail. Many of our party mentioned how helpful she had been at the end of the weekend. It was also useful that the rooms had an ironing board for anyone needing it for their wedding outfit.

The room was just as i had expected for the price paid & more than suitable for our needs, the bed was kingsize & very comfortable. We had 2 daytime / evening meals during our stay both of which were reasonably priced & of a very good quality, the breakfast was excellent. All the staff we met were poilte, friendly & helpful. The main building is old & has many original features & loads of character, there is more than ample car parking space at the property & a large outdoor area / beer garden. We would be happy to stay there again.

The only thing we didn`t really like was that the shower was a mixer tap type, this is a personal dislike & no reflection on the property & to be fair wasn`t that difficult to use

We were late arriving but they went out of their way to give us what we both needed and wanted. The pub was still open so we had a bit of a sit and chat with the staff. Lovely, huge room to spend the nights in. Everything was exceptional, especially all the people we met and spent lots of time chatting. Had a delicious dinner one night and sat in the pub in the evening with a nightcap. I wouldn't change a thing. Even the rain was nice. Exceptional value for the money.

I wouldn't change a thing except we would have liked to stay longer but they didn't have any rooms.

Old coaching inn, full of character, old beams, flagstone floors, big fireplaces. Very comfortable beds and lovely hot shower! Food was very good, served on hot plates… thank you! Staff were all friendly and helpful. Large car park and garden. Ideal for exploring around Tetbury

Nothing really. Only that people with mobility difficulties may struggle with steps into the bar and restaurant, (only a couple) There may be a different way in, through the garden, which we didn’t use? Noise from road a bit of a nuisance at night but, that wouldn’t stop me from returning.

Felt really safe and was nice and quiet, room was also lovely and warm. I was staying as I was attending a wedding up the road and they were really accommodating in that they allowed me to pick up my key a bit earlier as the wedding started before check-in and I wouldn’t be back until late. Very happy with my stay.

Only thing I’d say is that the tv didn’t seem to be connected to the internet, so although it was a smart tv, none of the apps could be used, not the end of the world though!

Breakfast was lovely - we pretty much had the while place to ourselves as we were having breakfast at 7am ish. Food was fresh and cooked to order. The building itself was old and needed a little tlc but overall was nice. The staff were polite and firendly and very happy to help - despite the fact you could that the staff were stretched quite thinly across the hotel, bars, dining areas and kitchen.

Our room (and my bed) was roadside so was quite noisy. Wasn't an issue during the night but early in the morning when traffic was starting to move - 6am. We were getting up at that time anyway so it didn't really impact us.

Lots of Parking, and convenient for Westonbirt. Good welcome. The food is good pub quality. The beer was excellent. My full English breakfast was delicious and the coffee was a good strength. The room (double) was spacious, and the bed comfortable. The en suite was clean and tidy - plenty of hot water. Nice fires in the public spaces.

Could not find the TV remote. The bedrooms are looking a little tired but it's great value for money.

One night stay for a wedding in nearby area . Very spacious bedroom and on suite. Room on ground level. Separate building to the main pub . Old English country pub . Plenty of Character to the building. Open fireplaces. Staff very cheerful, friendly and welcoming throughout stay. We arrived early for checking in and enjoyed food from lunch menu . Beautiful, delicious food. Breakfast menu has a great choice to cater to people’s tastes.

The room was excellent. I was in room 9 which was more like a mini suite than a room, with a separate twin bedroom and a sitting/TV/work area in the middle. It couldn't have been easier to access, being as it was on the ground floor and accessible from the car park. The bathroom was clean and well equipped with soap etc. There was a smell of bleach but I really didn't notice it after a few minutes. I ate in the bar on both evenings. My steak was good and the lasagne I had the second night was even better. Nice staff too. There was a choice of ales, Guinness, Madri, Peroni and Moretti.

Internet access needs attention. The Cloud wifi which you can sign up for was largely useless. I couldn't even upload a few photos without changing over to my phone hotspot and using that. This isn't a solution either, as 4G was very weak in that area too.
