Overall a great hotel, staff was wonderful, loved the extras like the slushies by the pool for kids and champagne and snacks in the afternoon. We also really enjoyed the few meals we had at Latitudes restaurant, especially the breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfy, balconies extremely small we didn’t really use ours.

My only real disappointment was the size of the pool, I had seen other reviews on this but after I booked, and truthfully it is really small. My son still loved it, and it was a comfortable temp, just not what I was hoping for when I booked our getaway. Also nothing to do with the hotel, but this was our first trip to Hollywood beach and I would not go back and wouldn’t call it family friendly.

The property was very close to the beach, clean, pleasant and overly competent staff made the stay memorable. The room was beautiful upgraded to executive suite which was spacious, clean and with a great partial ocean view.

The only issue I had is that there was some type of construction/roofing work being done inside the parking garage and the debris and dust fell all over the cars. This was unexpected and unprofessional and the resort should have considered informing those who stayed in the parking garage to move their vehicles prior to the work starting.

My husband and I decided to stay on the beach while we were moving my Mom out of my childhood home and into independent living. We loved the staff (we come from a Marriott family and my FIL was the President years ago) and everyone had the Marriott culture going on. They were all very professional and seemed happy to be there. The hotel itself is old, it was a Howard Johnson's back in the day. It sits sideways as do many of the hotels in Hollywood so there are not a ton of beachfront rooms but again, that is normal for this area of Hollywood. The rooms are decorated really nicely with very beachy decor which was really nice. The beds are amazing and so are the pillows!!! We really loved that there is live music next door at the little motel and we spent many nights out on our balcony listening to the music and looking at the water!

The only thing that stood out for us was that you have to go through the restaurant to get in from the pool and beach OR you have to go through the main lobby. I wish sandy/wet folks could enter through a more private door vs walking through with their towels and beach stuff. Other than that, this hotel is fantastic!

Breakfast was amazing! The location on the beach was perfect.

I had to learn about the extra amenities through another person staying at the hotel. There was free champagne daily, along with a free slushy daily. They also had bikes available for free. It would have been nice to learn these things upon arrival. I was three days into my trip when I learnt about the extra amenities.

The restaurant is open to all. Since lots of outsiders come for meals, we the guest often ended up with no seats and waiting was long. I didn't like this at all, although I understand from the hotel's viewpoint.

The location on the beach is superb. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very polite and helpful.

The AC in my room wasn't working so my room never cooled and stayed a warm 79* all night. I stopped at the front desk in the morning and told them and they said it would be fixed. When I came back at 2:30 pm it was the same - still 79 degrees. I stopped at the desk again and they said that maintenance would get to it. When I returned at 9:30 pm it was still 79 degrees. So I again went to the front desk and this time she called maintenance and they came and fixed it about 30 min. later. Not happy about having to report this 3 times to the front desk.

The room was super clean. The staff always pleasant and courteous. The availability of the beach chairs was wonderful. Pool area was exceptional

The daily parking fees on top of an already expensive room rate. Seriously think this was ridiculous…… was truly NOT aware of this.

The room was great. The front desk was very helpful and they had champagne and snacks from 12 pm -7pm every day. The pool and hot tub were nicely kept. The beach was very nice. The bed was comfortable. We rented a car but did not need it much. Everything is within walking distance and the FLL airport is so close and can be easily reached via uber/lyft.

Pillows weren't super comfy

Check in was amazing. Free champagne and very helpful with dinner reservations. Also they allowed me to late check out with out an additional fee.

Bathroom wasn't very clean. The fridge was too loud so I had to unplug and the coffee maker didn't work.

Great location. nice pool on the beach. Friendly staff at front desk good food service and staff. The pool waitress was not so kind completely ignored me and would only ask other adults without a child if they wanted anything to drink which was a positive thing the front desk talked about that included kids and smoothies that my 11 year old was excited about. I basically had to say I would love to order something after she walked by me too many times to count. I actually gave her a large tip on a very small bill to which of course she then smiled and was nice. Pool is not big like it appears in the photos but still nice. would have given 10 had they also offered room service something that appears to be gone forever unlike the dreaded daily fees.
