Located very close to the CSIR as well as some other major business areas. Easy access to the N1 with shopping centres, restaurants and some entertainment close by. Room's are spacious and the grounds well kept. Was also very happy that they offered to iron my clothes! Overall, a great experience for the cost.

Nothing significant. Perhaps a coffee plunger could be nice but that is mainly nitpicking.

The room was extremely comfortable and we had a terrace area in front with table, chairs and 2 loungers looking over the garden and the pool beyond the lawn area. We had our drinks and snacks in front of our room but there was also a covered outdoor lounge area for larger parties - with sofas and a TV. There were excellent braai facilities for several guest to braai at the same time on their own fires. The owner Estelle was very helpful in planning how to complete the next stage of our holiday and what to visit in Pretoria. It had convenient access to the JNB airport (we had a rental car) - probably as good as staying in Joburg. We left MacGregors feeling well rested and pleased that we had chosen to stay 2 nights there.

It's probably the best guesthouse in Pretoria - we liked everything.

A comfortable spot for an overnight stay. Close to the Sunbet Arena, so it was convenienty located for the concert. Big bath and nice soft towels. Such a gorgeous garden!

The fan in the room (Room 4) went all wobbly and chaotic - that was quite scary! Would stay again... just don't take your chances with the fan.

Location is excellent , very secure neighborhood and close to restuarants and gym, also loadshedding free which is a big plus.

did not like the instant coffee , a bodum with filter coffee would have been nice. For a longer stay a small fridge would have been a nice to have.

The shower was definitely the best shower ever! The service and staff were all good.

The fridge was filthy on top, a place we often like to store things. The carpeted floor was also rather dirty, needed a good shampoo clean.

Estelle and Gideon are very lovely people. The room was comfortable with all necessary amenities. Had a lovely view on the garden and pool as well. Thanks for the enjoyable stay 😀

Everything is peaceful and safe. Close to Menlyn Mall.. it is perfect.

Parking, need to work on parking for guests. Especially if more than 3 guests are booked in.

This place is a jewel. So tranquil with the beautiful garden en swimming pool. The host was very accommodating and made sure that we had everything we needed traveling with a baby. The rooms was luxurious and the beds very comfy. Location conveniently close to Menlyn and Lynwood centres. Will visit again.

Excellent location near Menlyn Park and Lynwood Bridge shopping centres as well as close to N1 highway. Beautiful house with exceptional garden and swimming pool. Great breakfasts provided by very friendly and helpful staff.
