Utopia is that type of hotel that in the first 20 minutes you might not like it. But after a day you realize that it is one of the best hotels you have stayed in. We were with a 6-month-old baby and it was wonderful for us: Our baby was sleeping in the room and my wife and I were at the pool (obviously with our baby monitor). We also used the jacuzzi on the terrace, the beach was close, we had parking near the hotel, and the breakfast was a 10. Thank you for everything and congratulations for the quality of services;

You should know that it is 5-6 km from the old center of Rethymno, and it will take you between 15-20 minutes to get there by car. I don't see this as a minus for those who need relaxation

All the things in the suite were amazing towels, slippers, roomy plenty of space, hot tub jacuzzi all great. The bed comfy and the sofa. Easy to find and actually outside but not so much distance from the city. The personnel and the owner was great and the pool upstairs amazing. The breakfast was also fantastic

The parking is an issue, but the owner allowed us to park in a private space of it's own. There was an issue with the towels no hungers for two people that could be a problem and also Korean hungers and suitcase desks for two people.. but this is minor

Utopia is a lovely boutique hotel. The breakfast was very good. Everything you could want without being excessive. Beautiful rooftop pool. Jacuzzi on our balcony was really nice. Rooms were clean and spacious. The shower was great. A nice place to stay for a few nights visiting Rethymno.

A busy road that was noisy with the balcony door open. No problem when the door was closed though.

Everything was awesome. Very kind and helpful owner Maria, great breakfasts, Jacuzzi on balcony, heated swimming pool on top floor, cleanliness. Parking places for car just under hotel. Supermarket and Tavern's in neighborhood. Well deserved 10/10 !

Maria was absolutely amazing from the start. She welcomed us with a huge smile and helped us with what ever we needed at anytime. She helped us plan our days and gave us great suggestions. The whole place was very clean and nice- the pool is beautiful!!!! She left us some nice surprises in the fridge. The place has a great kitchen to make food and there is a lot of pots/pans/plates ext. that you can use. Close to the beach and lots of restaurants. Right across is a supermarket and an even bigger one 500 meters down the road.

The location is a little far from some main beach’s but totally doable especially if you have a car. we liked it because it was quieter and peaceful and we’re okay with the drives. (Not more then hour and a half/ 2 hour drives) there’s also lots to do in the area.

This hotel is an amazing gem. The facilities were clean and fresh, breakfast was good and the service was amazing. We came in really late due to a delayed flight and Maria made sure my kids were still able to get something to eat. If you are looking for a place to stay on Crete this is a wonderful find. Excellent service, excellent location, excellent rooms. Would 100% stay again.

Everything was perfect.

Maria was very attentive towards her guest, we were welcomed whole heartedly, given guidence to places around that area. She even helped us with our stay on the last day since our flight back home was late in the evening. The partment is fitted with jacuzzi, kids had good time in it. Its new with modern facilities and especially its beds are very comfortable to sleep in like 4 in 🌟 hotels. Their pool is small and not deep, good for relaxation and sunbathing and for the kids to play. The overall ambiance is good and we did enjoy our stay there. Location is okay, walking like 1KM will take us to the nearest beach. There are 2 good restaurants just 100 meters away and local supermarket just 30 meters in front of the apartment. Other night life and touristic shops are by the beach so you need that 1KM walk. We had a rental car so moving around to Rethymno and going around places like to Preveli, Triopetra, Monestery and gorge was managed well.

Microwave oven was missed dearly especially when we had leftovers to heat up. Our apartment was on the ground floor it had a patio with dining table and jacuzzi outside the room, its very close to the road it was noisy when we had our time at our jacuzzi. A fibreglass compartment covering the patio would have given better privacy made our experience better.

Place was stunning, really comfortable with beautiful owner and breakfast lady. We have been treated very well.

We had miscommunication about parking, but in the end all was sorted. Location is in residential area

The hotel was perfect in every single way. The welcome of Maria was very warm and she is the best host you could imagine - so helpful and kind. The 2 week stay was amazing and we will definitely come back. We felt like home and the hotel was so quiet, familial and relaxing. And of course perfectly designed in every detail. Perfect for couples!
