I stayed at Amerindia for 5 nights and had an excellent experience, it was everything I needed. Clean, comfortable, well-located within a short walk of Plaza de Armas, courteous and helpful staff, good breakfast, free luggage storage (I left mine overnight when I went to Aguas Calientes) and fairly priced laundry services for those of us on longer trips.

There is a fair bit of noise in the neighbourhood as it's very lively and is obviously not within the control of the hotel's management team. This wasn't an issue for me but for those who are noise sensitive, it's good to know and perhaps a good idea to bring noise-cancelling ear plugs.

The facility is located in a renovated "casona", the ambience is beautiful and well-kept; the staff was super helpful and friendly, I was travelling alone and they solved a lot of problems for me; it can be cold at night in Cusco in winter, so they immediately provided me with an electric heater thanks to which I didn't get cold; room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable, I also appreciated the presence of an extra sink in the room and the shower with every comfort; mattress and pillows were comfortable (neither too hard nor too soft); I was satisfied with all the services which I requested (transfer, laundry, once I had dinner at the hotel and the meal was excellent and cheap); when I went to Machu Picchu I left my room very early in the morning and they prepared a packed breakfast for me to take away; good location, very close to the historic centre of Cusco; I had read in other customer reviews that the rooms were noisy, so I asked for a quiet room and the room they gave me was actually very quiet, so I had no problems with noise at all;

If I had to mention something to improve, I would say that the breakfast could be a little richer (I would add a few more pastry options); the jam and the juices were not top quality but I noticed this almost everywhere in Peru; I had some problems with the curtains letting in too much light in the morning, but it was no big issue for me as I always travel with an eye mask.

The staff is very friendly and super helpful. The hotel is located in the center of town with clean rooms and comfortable beds. I had a view of the city lights on the hillside at night. Water and coca leaf tea are available in the lobby to help with the altitude. A tasty home cooked breakfast of eggs, fruit, fresh squeezed juice, yogurt and rolls is included. Each floor has a welcoming sitting area. The hotel is pet friendly with an enclosed garden for your pet to visit.

There was some music from a neighboring club, but it was quiet in the morning and at nighttime. Cusco is a busy town so some noise is to be expected.

Spacious room with enormous bed! Really good breakfast - also given a breakfast bag with a few bits on the morning we left to catch an early flight. Staff were friendly and helpful. On site cafe was convenient and tasty for small bites. Good location.

A lot of noise in the room coming from restaurant nearby, but it did mostly stop after 10pm. If you want to sleep before that, it could be a problem. Lots of windows/glass in the room with no shades/blinds, so it was very bright when a light came on in the hallway or neighbouring room.

Hotel was quiant, stylish and clean. The staff were excellent, very friendly. It was nice that they accommodated us forr our early departure with a very early breakfast.

Noise from the bar just outside was very loud, however it did stop at 10 PM. Perfect for a short stay in Cusco, close to a train station, however this one did not have trains to Machu Picchu, as we expected. So needed to take a long cab drive to the correct train station vetruy early in the morning.

Great location, facilities and awesome staff (especially Elliot, from reception, which helped us with everything we needed). The hotel provided water and tea 24/7 and snacks for the early morning when we couldn’t make it to breakfast, which was really handy for us coming in and out from our adventures through the Inca Valley.

The wifi signal was a bit unstable at some points in the dorms.

The location was great, close to city centre but not right in the thick of it. Great breakfast. Really great hot shower and good pressure in lovely modern bathroom. VERY comfortable BIG bed! Juan Manual is a fabulous host. So helpful & friendly. Booked us into great tours at good prices at the last minute. Has perfect English (& French) which helps if your Spanish isn’t great. He & all his staff were wonderful.

We had a couple of issues on our first night with hot water & noise but after mentioning to Juan Manuel, everything was resolved quickly & perfectly & we couldn’t have asked for better service.

The staff was very friendly and super helpful. The hotel was extremely clean and well-maintained, with a welcoming ambiance. It is located in the center of town, but you can not hear traffic noise. The home-cooked breakfast was lovely. The hotel was sweet to our dog, and there was an inner garden that made traveling with a pet easy. The beds were comfortable and the shower had hot water.

You will hear some music during the day, but that is to be expected in downtown Cusco. Things quiet down at night.
