I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Quechua. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive (specially Americo and the manager in the reception!), going above and beyond by upgrading me to a larger room at no extra cost. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the bed was comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. Breakfast was delicious, offering a great start to the day. I also appreciated that the hotel allowed us to leave our backpacks before check-in and after check-out, which was very convenient. The lobby provided coca tea, which was a great help with adjusting to the altitude. Additionally, the hotel has a beautiful rooftop area with a stunning view of the church across the street. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it.

I had a great stay at Hotel Quechua, but I wanted to mention two things. The 10-minute walk to Plaza de Armas can be tiring after a long day. Also, the breakfast hours from 6 to 9 am felt a bit early. In any case, I still think that is the best option in the city

The hotel was wonderful! The staff was super friendly and helpful, they even let me check in an hour earlier, which was very nice. There was a decent hot water in the shower, warm blankets, they gave me a hair dryer and an adaptor to charge my phone. I liked that at the lobby there was hot water and mate leaves, which was very helpful since I felt a bit sick because of the altitude. There is a restaurant at the hotel and a beautiful garden. The breakfast started at 6 am, perfect for those who take early morning tours. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The hotel is located in a nice area, right next to the San Pedro mercado and in about 10 minutes walking distance from Plaza de Armas. You don't have to climb to get to the hotel which is great when you don't feel well because of the altitude. I would stay again!

lovely architecture with a touch of modern in a beautiful colonial style building. nice breakfast and comfy beds with thick comforters - perfect for the cold Cusco nights

the Wifi was a disaster after 4 pm when the hotel was full. the network couldn't handle the volume of guests and the wifi was essentially useless. it was fast in the morning when the guests were off property or had checked out. The staff refused to admit there was a problem and kept telling us to try another SSID instead of admitting that the bandwidth is inadequate for the number of guests in the evening. Although one staff member finally did tell us that "the wifi is best in the morning".

Charming hotel in central Cusco near all the main attractions, the room was large and the beds confortables

We had 3 breakfasts included in our reservation, but unfortunately we couldnt take any of them cause we had to take early tours. We asked for lunch box instead which was very poor and inacceptable including: one mandarine, one small pack of crackers and one apricot juice not tasty at all. We asked the 2nd day for at least a small sandwich, the receptionists says ok, but the next day it was the same box, and no sandwich at all. their explanation is that we can get poisened if we take food with us. Not acceptable at all for such hotel

The front desk staff (Max and Americo) were incredibly helpful. They accommodate our multiple needs including, booking taxis, storing a lot of luggage for multiple days and helping us with the luggage. Always with a smile and prompt service. The hotel was clean, great showers with hot water and strong water pressure. We stayed at the hotel twice and the first time arriving before check in but they had rooms ready for us in 20 minutes. The location is perfect next to the San Pedro Market. I would highly recommend this to anyone. The service and rooms for the price are great value and the staff makes it that much better.

Nothing I would change

I had a great stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly courteous and went out of their way to ensure a comfortable experience. For the price, the hotel offers excellent value for money, with all the amenities you would expect. The breakfast was a standout, with a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant. Plus, the location was perfect, close to key attractions and easy to get around. Overall, a fantastic stay!

While my stay was mostly enjoyable, there were a couple of minor inconveniences. The room and bathroom lacked hooks, which would have been helpful for hanging towels or clothes. Additionally, I was disappointed to find that I had to pay for drinking water bottles, which is something I would expect to be complimentary in a hotel stay. These small issues aside, the overall experience was still positive.

It was a nice place very close to everything good breakfast good beds I slept very well nice staff and friendly. I like the hotel and room except the bath room. But again maybe it just was that bathroom I got, so in general it was a good stay and I would like to recommend them.

When you take a shower there was water everywhere on the floor, the drain was higher that floor so the water would go down in it. So you have to take the towels to clean it up and they was soaking wet. I would like to take a spa bath but the thing to get the water stop from going into the drain was missing. And check out already at 10:00😱 but that’s how it is. That’s there rule.. so fine

The location is quite central, with a 10 min stroll till Plaza de Armas. The breakfast is more than sufficient. But the main selling point of this hotel are the staff! Absolute perfect service! Every request we had was met by a positive answer and a smile. Complimentary coca tea is readily available in the lobby, together with some different types of teas.

As mentioned by others, the sound proofing should be improved. Our room had some windows facing the same ventilation shaft as the kitchen( even if we were at the 5th floor!). At 4 am every morning the kitchen would start preparing breakfast. You could hear every egg being cracked…

Very beautiful decor with its own garden. Right next to San Pedro market and 10 mins walk from the main square. The hotel staff is very gracious and helpful, made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The rooms are clean and hot water is available in sink and shower.

Would recommend to add a water filter or dispenser in the lobby so customers don’t need to buy drinking water everyday. Also the bathrooms could use better sealing, so that there is less smell. Not present in all bathrooms but some ones might.

The breakfast was amazing they had a lot of variety. They also have cocoa tea available if you are feeling sick. The location is also super good. Right across from the San Pedro station and next to the big San Pedro market.

I would say I did not like the size of the room. It was tight for two people and our room faced the main street. It was SO LOUD and we could hear everything. Did not have a good night's sleep. I would request a room further to the back of the hotel so it is quieter.
