Rooms (513 & 511) and hotel extremely clean especially public areas. Location was perfect as we found all of the shops and restaurants close by. Must compliment your staff, everyone was helpful and very friendly. Tess at the lounge bar was exceptional. She started off our morning with a beautiful smile and wonderful demeanour. Ahmed at concierge was amazing. Always happy, always willing to assist in anything. All concierge staff were excellent but he was over and above.

Had no water for half a day right when I was shaving. Could shower but a noticed was sent out. Room service was ordered, soup arrived and soup bowl was still in room 2 days later on departure day.

The locations is the best! And the people who work there.

The breakfast with the scrambled eggs was really bad and expensive. The eggs are not fresh. You can ho breakfast to caffeine concerto located two block from hotel for the same price vut much better and y a nice place. The pillows were old and incomfortable. I asked before to got to the hotel for memory foam pillows antiallergie but they didnt have it and i have cervical problems so it would be great the hotel can have some for people like my eith that problems. Just a siggestion. It was clran and warm. The rugs at the room it was old too but clean maybe some remodelations. Im goong to go back with my pillow because of the location .

A well-managed and very central hotel which gave us a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The decor was understated but very well appointed and all the facilities were available. The staff were pleasant and attentive. The costs at time of booking were very reasonable. Amazing views from our room.

Reception area had a rather small footprint, meaning that the bar/restaurant was on the first floor, which detracts from the atmosphere. Separate key for electrics in the room ensured that the heating fan turned off each time we went out, so the room was cold.

Location was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was not too small, though we were told that most rooms were a little small. Some obviously are not. Did not use the restaurant though it looks great, as we were meeting friends at one of the many places in that part of London. A short easy walk from Piccadilly tube..

The place is looking a little tired, which is not unusual for London hotels, but not shabby or broken. The one problem I had was the hot tap in the shower which is easy to switch to scalding when you think you are adjusting the shower. That was painful. The safety catch was not working.

I came to this hotel with my husband last year. We chose it again because we liked its location very much. 4 days passed very comfortably and nicely. Everything was very clean.

We chose our room as a classic room. When I arrived at the hotel, I told them that I could not fit into the bed due to my pregnancy and that I wanted to upgrade for a fee. Some of the employees were not helpful at all and said that it could never be done. When I told them that I wanted to talk to the manager, they changed our room. It should have been done without the need for such a conversation.

it was easy check in, lifts are very good, location of hotel is excellent directly across from fortnum and mason and its on a really quiet street 5 mins from all attractions, 5 mins from tube and two mins from bus stops and the big bonus is the hotel has sky tv

room shower took for an age to get warm, classic rooms are very small, if you don't use the lifts the stairs are just bare concrete and not nice to use. the breakfast pricing structure is not a good set up, the bar area has no comfy or cosy seating and was lacking atmosphere

The location was excellent. The room was comfortable and peaceful although that may have been because the hotel was not busy. I say this because I was offered an upgrade, at my own expense. I have never been offered an upgrade before.

There was very little fault to be found. I have stayed at this hotel on previous occasions and would not have returned if I had real concerns. However I would suggest that breakfast needs to be better managed. On the Saturday morning, the service was somewhat disjointed with several dishes running out and taking a little too long to be replaced. I will add that the young staff members were helpful and willing but it was apparent that there was no one taking an overall view and resolving issues quickly or preventing them happening in the first place. On the Monday it was much quieter but still with a few issues. I did not have breakfast on the other mornings. Thank you.

This hotel was very centrally located. We were very happy with our stay at the facility. However, our one dinning experience at the Cavendish was the worst in London.

The afternoon tea experience was very disappointing. We made an online reservation at the hotel a few days ahead. The wait staff was not attentive and were very hard to understand. Instead of explaining the process, they were more interested in finding out if we had vouchers. Finally they realized we made an online reservation. After the tray of food came, they never offered us tea. Not once did they mention about tea selections. When we finally asked, two pots of tea came in metal containers like in any regular state restaurants. At the end when we asked for a to go container, they told us they don’t carry any to go containers. Out of all the restaurants in London. This was the most frustrating and expensive dinning experience. We were glad that was the only time we ate here.

A lovely comfortable stay. Breakfast was lovely too. Fab hotel and location and would highly recommend! Thank you!

When we arrived at the hotel we would have liked to have been able to have a light bite/bar bite and a drink at the bar, however this was not available and the front of house at the restaurant could have been a little more helpful. Similarly in the evening, there was only one person working behind the bar, serving, making drinks and taking payment for all guests who were looking to have a pre-going out drink and/or nightcap. Not that this spoilt the stay as I could not fault the stay, however our Group did think that this was an area for improvement.

Great location, exceptional views, friendly staff who prepared the room lovely, felt very clean. Room service breakfast was very tasty and great value for money. Decent water pressure and large sized comfortable super king bed.

-You need to walk from the 14th to the 15th floor as the elevator doesn't go up all the way. Not sure why? -The balcony seemed in a dire state with the ceiling looking as if a part had broken off. No outside table or chairs to enjoy the view, it felt very 'not finished'. Could have been done so much lovelier especially considering the views.
