Breakfast was very versatile and hearty. There's an omelette chef making eggs every way you want them. And the scrambled eggs in the buffet were excellent too. More fresh vegetable options would be welcome, though. There are plenty of fruits, but only cucumber and tomato wedges in terms of salad ingredients. The steam room in the hotel spa was nice.

We wanted to take out the hotel bicycles for the day, but they had no helmets left. That was disappointing. The bed was comfy, but the pillows were lumpy and loose. The hotel information channel on the TV advertised a free selection of different pillows, but when I asked the receptionist, they hadn't heard about such a thing. The hotel sauna was way too hot, even by Finnish standards. And ease off the pine aroma. The sauna bucket had so much oil the water was milky white, and the sauna benches were so steeped in aromatic oil the towels were instantly stained.

Situated in Kreutzberg/Potsdamer Platz approximately a 5 minutes walk from S-bahn Anhalter Bahnhof and about 8-10 minutes from U-bahn Möckernbrücke. S-bahn from the Berlin Brandenburg airport will take you just under an hour in travelling time Checkpoint Charlie you’ll find another short walk away, maximum 15 minutes. Not the most charming neighbourhood in the nearby surroundings to be honest but as mentioned above you’ll easily reach the rest of Berlin by S/U bahn. Smooth check-in with excellent English-speaking and service minded staff. Spacious, clean room with super-comfy bed, en-suite bathroom and a fridge to store cold drinks in. Very quiet and no disturbing noise from the outside. The breakfast was fresh with lots of both cold and cooked alternatives to choose from. In the evenings the breakfast-room transform into an award-winning restaurant with excellent food: Layla by Meir Adoni. The restaurant also have a cosy bar where you can taste superb cocktails, beer or wine until 01:00 every day. Checkout was at 12:00 and, again, everything worked out just fine. Overall an excellent stay for a reasonable price.

As mentioned above the surrounding areas was a bit boring but the closeness to S/U-bahn stations compensate that minor issue.

Fantastic location - in a nice quiet area with plenty to see and do in the vicinity, and almost everywhere else is within a 45 min walk. The premium room was large and very comfortable - a very relaxing chair, comfy bed, and big bathroom. Lovely amenities in the room, and really appreciated the bottles of water in the room every day. The breakfast range was varied and tasty, plus all the staff I spoke to were helpful and friendly.

The bathroom was great overall, however the glass shower partition was too short and the water would flood into the main part of the bathroom every time I had a shower. I had to use a couple of towels to mop it up each day. The pillows were also too soft for me (personal preference) but had I looked at the room information on the TV, before the last day I could have requested firmer ones!

Location was good, short walkind distance to the metro station. Room was clean. Breakfast also very good.

At first i booked room with a bath, but first room we got was with no bath. Then they said we should wait for an hour, because the room is cleaned (we arrived an hour earlier before check in). Then when we got back to the reception a lady said there were no free rooms with bath. Finally we got the room we wanted originally with not very clear explanation, why the situation occured first place. But all good what ends well.

On arrival we were given a free upgrade. The room was lovely the bathroom was beautiful everything was spotlessly clean. As for the breakfast, it was second to none, it was a very large buffet breakfast with varied hot and cold options, and there is a chef making freshly cooked to order omelettes, fried and poached eggs, its one of the best breakfasts Ive had. The reception staff are warm, friendly and nothing is too much trouble, they are a credit to the hotel. The location of the hotel is great, although not right in the centre, it is within easy walking distance of the centre and the main sights. Would definitely recommend

Breakfast good selection , all faclities clean and excellent standard , good location to walk 5 to 10 minutes to central Potdammer Platz, few minutes walk to S and U bahn, all staff friendly , helpful and polite. Lidl supermarket just around corner if you want few bits ,also fantastic Indian restaurant Amrit ? on Eberstrassa by Potsdammer Platz best Indian meal we have ever had , good value , quality food and presentation , staff extremely helpful .

Would have liked room temperature a bit warmer , set temperature to max on control but still not warm enough for us , drinks in bar expensive , used on first night on arrival did not visit again.

Loved staying in this gorgeous hotel. All the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating in every possible way. The room was very clean, with comfy bed and pillows... and the shower was great. Loved the good lighting in the bathroom and the magnifying mirror was ideal for putting on makeup as I didn't need my +3 glasses! The breakfast was also extremely good, fresh and we'll presented... And the double espressos were top notch. It is also well connected to the airport if you wish to travel with the ubahn.

The lifts were a bit slow.

The room was really nice, spacious and comfortable. My room had a large double bed, large sofa chair, and a desk. The bathroom was lovely, with a large walk-in shower featuring a waterfall effect shower which was really good pressure, very refreshing. There was a tall radiator which was great for drying not just towels, but clothes when it was rainy. It was extremely quiet - I wasn't disturbed by other guests or even housekeeping. The room had a minibar which was kept stocked with drinks and snacks. The wifi was fast and reliable. The bar was really nice and comfortable with good music. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Great atmosphere. The breakfast selection was good, with hot cooked breakfast items available, as well as the more typical continental breakfasts, fruits, yoghurts, juices, and pancakes, with coffees served at the table. In the evening the breakfast area becomes an independent restaurant "Layla By Meir Adon" which serves delicious Middle East/Israeli style food.

One small thing to note: the restaurant is up-market and so a little higher priced. While that may be fine for a special evening (it's very very good food), people may wish to try some cheaper places in the area if they're staying longer.

I liked the room, breakfast, interior design and location. Amazing feeling and staff, easy to come there by train and underground bahn and it is a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. Right next door is Liquidrom, which we payed a visit since it was conveniently nearby.

If I have to try to find something that was not up to my standard, it was the cleaning on the bathroom that could have been a bit better as we saw dust on the towel warmers and hankerchief box on the wall. Other than that, everything was amazing and we cannot pinpoint a single bad thing really.

Was very good breakfast. So many options to choose from. No way to eat every option within only one or even two breakfasts. However what I chose to eat was exptional and very fresh. Room was spacious and had a great view of the Tempodrom and park (4th Floor). The hotel managed to to fulfil my personal request (room location) and gave me helpful parking information, which was the excelcior deep garage nearby, only 5min walk. All in all a great package and I would definitely return.
