Loved this family run traditional Austrian hotel. The hosts were very friendly and approachable. We were able to have breakfast a little earlier than half 7 one of the days as we were going on a trip. Breakfast was plentiful, I liked the fruit salad. The setting was beautiful. Room was comfortable, we were two friends so greatful to have two duvets. Made use of the undoor pool which took a bit of getting used to as it was cold but was fine once in. Bus stop just down the road easy to get into the centre.

The flat pillow and no extra available the lightshade right above the bed was so low made it so easy to hit our heads when we sat up.

The main feature of the place were the garden and the terrace which were nice, but we could not use because of the whether. The owners answer our questions, but did not really offer information without us asking.

I was expecting a more elegant place, but it was quite simple. The room was too small for 3 adults, it felt crowded. I don't think it is a good idea that they used the sofa to make a bed, as this did not leave any place to seat to chat or to have a snack. It seems they do not put their best rooms on Booking, but the pictures are there. The welcoming was a bit cold, as the first question was if I rang the bell, which I did, without any explanation given after. There were already 2 people at the reception desk, the door was not locked, so I am still confused about why ringing the bell in full day time.

Great traditional accommodations located just outside of Salzburg. It had very convenient free parking right in front. The hotel staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The shower had really nice smelling shampoo and embroidered towels. It came with the most amazingly large and fresh breakfast full of fresh breads, fruit, meats and cheeses that was included with our stay. The outdoor areas with the patio, pool, lush green open space, and landscaping were beautiful.

Pillows were almost empty and offered no neck support. I ended up sleeping on my neck pillow I brought for the plane ride.

This was a lovely hotel and the staff were great. Breakfast was very good. Reception was wonderful at telling us how/where to get the bus to get to the historic center of Salzburg.

I didn't realize the hotel was as far as it was from the historic center. But the bus was very close and easy to take. We did, however, decide to use cabs after our first bus trip just for time and ease. The pool was also very cold. We were told it was heated so started to walk quickly into it; the chill stopped us in our steps. But it was really nice once we got used to it.

Great location - 10 minutes from Salzburg, 20-30 minutes from hiking places like galling etc. Great breakfast - all fresh and tasty, you won't need lunch later:) They have both outdoor pool and (incredibly fantastic) indoor pool + a small gym, open until 22:00 which was great. The hosts were very kind and helpful

The place is "old-school", like staying at your grandma's home - nostalgic, but rather not so comfi... Note that the rooms have no mini-bar nor cattle, the bath is bright and clean but the water sprinkler has pretty weak stream

We loved everything. Thefamily that own the guesthouse are fantastic, they couldn't do enough for us. The location is out of town, but the buses are very convenient, but in my view it was worth being out of town to enjoy the fabulous facilities of this beautiful guesthouse.

The pillows are a bit flat, but just ask for another! These are the Austrian pillows.

The hotel is situated in a rural setting whilst only being 10-15 minutes drive from the town centre. There we’re good public transport links within a few minutes walk. The grounds are well tended with beautiful trees and colourful shrubbery. The indoor and outdoor pools were great. It’s a family run hotel which has maintained much of its original fixtures and furnishings whilst adding modern contemporary facilities. The staff were very helpful and I felt very comfortable with the hotel’s staff and facilities I would return and would recommend the hotel to friends and family.

I would have preferred a room facing the garden. But this could have been arranged if I had requested it in advance.

The hotel was really beautiful and felt so Austrian which was fun as it was our first time in the country. Our room had a lovely sitting area with windows overlooking the pool. The outside area looked stunning. I wish we could have enjoyed the pool and outdoor area. It was very convenient having a restaurant at the hotel although very few people spoke English and the menus were not in English. Thankfully google translate on our phones saved the day!

There was no AC so our room was very warm and the beds were fairly uncomfortable. I wish we would have had more pillows. The shower was also set up without a curtain or door so water got everywhere when showering but the bathroom itself was beautiful.

The best in its kind in my opinion ‏The breakfast is delicious and varied, and they serve eggs according to your request if you want ‏The place is beautiful and the view is amazing ‏The bus will take you to the city center easily

If you are coming for a vacation in a place away from the noise of the city, you will like this place

Our room had an amazing view of mountain and the garden. There were a great outdoor pool and a great indoor pool. The hotel garden is so nice, clean and well shaped. The staff were so kind and helped us a lot during our stays. Especially the lady who is doing many stuff of the hotel. It is an amazing and nice place to clear mind and relax.

It would be better to have a small fridge in the rooms. The breakfast could also be better.
