Good location, lady at front desk was extremely welcoming and helpful. Great price with pool and morning coffee available.

Twin bed room was a little cramped but worked just fine as we were out exploring the city most of the day.

The place was just what I was looking for (minus the fact they didn't serve breakfast or have a bar or an elevator). My room was on the top floor of what was mostly a three-story hotel. My room was accessed by a separate staircase to a roof terrace which lead to my room (the only room on the roof. But that also meant I had windows on all three sides (including the bathroom). I had a lovely covered terrace a pretty comfy sofa and a fridge. The staff (Tania especially) couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. I was there for close to a month. Excellent location inside the old city, nice pool, and a very quiet side street.

An elevator..LOL. Other than that...nothing. Also, there is a very nice laundry service directly across the street and they will do it all for you for 70THB per load (at the time of writing this is the US equivalent of $2.08). Drop off in the morning, pick up that afternoon.

The staff were superb and very friendly. I had an issue with my shower and it was fixed almost immediately. The location is good once you figure out how to navigate the lanes etc. Pool was nice and free proper coffee in the morning was a bonus. Nice and quiet too, but not too far from lots restaurants and bars if you are inclined.

I found the bed a little firm, but this is minor. A TV would have been nice, but I did actually start to read books again so this wasn't really an issue. It would be good if the hotel offered some food options, but lots nearby so again not a big deal.

The staff was very nice and welcoming and tried to solve whichever problem that occurred. For the upper room: Large windows with a lot of light, relative silence, a very nice view of the mountain, you can even watch the sunset. The balcony with the benches was nice. The sofa in the room was helpful. For the room close to the pool: the room size was big enough for two people, and the bathroom was big enough. There was a bench that you can put your suitcase on and open it, which was very useful.

For the upper room: Problems with the hot water - either the stream was weak and there was warm water or a strong stream but no hot water. The bed was not comfortable. The staff put something between the mattress, but it didn't make a lot of difference (but at least they tried). There were a lot of stairs and no elevator. The last staircase was even steeper than the first 3 floors. There is no electric outlet close to one side of the bed. For the room close to the pool: no mosquito nets, so there were mosquitos. The room had a smell of mold even though no mold can be seen. The refrigerator was noisy. There was no place near the sink to put anything. Privacy was lacking because the windows of the room are facing the pool, but there are curtains to cover your windows.

The Villa feels like a little home. My room was small, I scooped up the very last one for the week. However I could go downstairs and sit next to the pool and either read my book or chat with guests and staff. The staff go above and beond to make your stay comfortable and inviting. I left with new friends and plan on returning again. I would love to try out one of the larger rooms, like the one that opens to the pool. However for just one person it seems like a lot. Very close to absolutly everything you would want. Small shops, food, massage, salons. You do not have to go far to find what you are looking for.

Comfortable, relaxing, quiet, clean, centrally located place to wander around the old city and chill by the pool. I was there for 8 days, which seemed to be a lot longer than other guests, who seemed to be there for a couple of days at the most, and I felt very at home. I could read my book by the pool in peace and head out for food when I needed. Staff were attentive and friendly and I felt like I got to know them a bit more being there for a relatively long time. Their English was good, and I could even speak a bit of Chinese with the boss, which was nice. I liked the traditional elements in its design, which made use of wood and inner courtyards, to keep the place nice and cool It was exactly what I was looking for.

It doesn't have everything, e.g. a bar/restaurant to have breakfast at, a fridge in the room, power shower etc. It's quite bare bones in that respect. However, it doesn't advertise itself as being any more, and it's reflected in the price. It completely met my expectations in that respect. I didn't like the koi pond, which was far too small for the poor fish.

The staff on reception and house keeping are all very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was essential for the hot days. In addition, there was a laundry service in front of the hotel to do our washing whilst cooling off the pool!! The location is excellent to move around. Renting a bike is recommended, but be aware an international driving license is required, otherwise be prepared to pay a 500 Bhart five if you get stopped by the police at control.

We had a corner room as it was pretty hot despite having an air conditioner in the room, plus the sunlight came through the curtains in the morning. I would have preferred the air conditioner to have been positioned differently as it was directly above the bed which made it slightly uncomfortable to sleep.

We had the junior suite and it really was worth treating ourselves. The room was a good size with a large balcony with swing chair over the pool. The bathroom was of a good size with a great hot shower. The hotel is not big with some 16 rooms. The same lady, Tan Ya, was there every day and was extremely friendly and helpful. It is in a good part of the old city just inside the North East corner. We were really well served for restaurants and coffee shops within 10 minutes walk and there were laundries nearby to do our washing.

We honestly felt that the common areas and pool area needed refreshing as they looked a little tired. Otherwise there was little to criticise.

Stayed for two nights. Centrally located in the old town of Chiang Mai, 7-11just a three minute walk away, choice of many restaurants very close in the same street. Friendly, helpful and attentative staff. Nice air-conditioned room, very quiet. Excellent mattress, two bottles of water per day. Pool area with shade in the afternoon. Friendly neighbourhood cats.

No breakfast available, tea and coffee only. No problem though, as there is a breakfast restaurant with a garden literally next door.

Everything was great and it is a beautiful spot, the pool is refreshing and super Zen and staff very friendly. It is great located and I was very happy everytime I was coming back to my room.

There are 2 things from my experience that are important for moment of rest : 1. there was a noise every night from like a motor machine , it will turn on and off during the night. 2. Also the light in the stairs is always on and it is not completely dark in the room. I would suggest maybe to put an automatic light whenever there is a guest that is coming back to their room. It is not very sustainable to leave lights on during the whole night.
