I really liked the location, the room was clean with a small kitchen inside, we were 6 persons and each one of us very loved staying here. Price was low also. Extra plus was our beds, they were soooo comfy and cozy :) The water in shower was also really warm.

It was really cold in our apartment. It was the end of May, but the weather outside was 12 degrees, and the heating in apartment was not working :( Another thing is that in the shower cubicle had a very bad drain.

The staff was gentle and thoughtful. The hotel is near the second most important train/ bus station, the Sloterdijk station. So, though it's not in the central area, it's easy to reach the main touristical spots, as well as the airport. I'm not a fan of hostels, but the cost-benefit was worthy, since hotels in Amsterdan are insanely expensive. I got a private room, what may work as a good "in-between" option. Both room and bathroom were pristinely clean! The security of the building, of the aisles and of the rooms was also remarkable.

The room walls are very thin, so you can hear the guestes next door. I had kind of a hard time on the second night because I could hear a couple doing it. It was a good thing that I had my ear plugs, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to sleep. Whoever reads this note, don't take it bad: I still think the hostel was worthy, I would just recommend you to take ear plugs with you...

Great value. The price is good for the city and the room was nice and wide. The location is reasonably convenient (just 5 mins from Sloterdijk station, the only annoyance is that the train is not included in the GMV ticket, but there is a slow bus to get you to Centraal Station). Very nice to have complimentary coffee machine. Overall was a pleasant stay. And the cat sleeping at the reception cheers you up every time you pass by :)

The bathroom has a serious design flaw: despite the space available in the room, the sink is right on top of the WC, making it very inconvenient to sit. Walls are also a bit thin, so you might hear some noise from other rooms. The kitchenette is very very basic, missing some silverware (not even a pair of every item), and room service a bit "lazy?". They almost never made up the bed. But all in all just minor things. We enjoyed our time there.

At first it looks more like a hostel than a hotel, but of a much better quality. And the welcome you get is sooo nice. People running it make you smile and provide all help and info you need. Our room and separate bathroom (just opposite to the room) were spacious enough and cleaned. We had 3 bunk beds in our room, with super comfortable mattresses, sheets and towels provided were clean, there was a coffee machine with coffee, also tea, sugar and creamer. Wifi was good. No breakfast, but there's a nice cafe just around the corner. I expected it to be a noisy place, after reading previous comments. Surprisingly, it wasn't that much. The whole place has a graffitti/chillout vibe and is a good place to stay a few nights. Very easy to get to airport, city centre (trains, trams) and other cities.

There's only one light in the room, and the only switch is near the door. Shower drained slowly.

Very noisy when someone next door enter or exists the room or when there is cleaning going on in the nearby areas of the room.

The hotel is great for self-catering holidaymakers. We had a twin-bed room, 25 sqm, with a microwave and a fridge. The location is not central but you can hop on a bus nearby and in 20 min be at the central station, Amsterdam. The area is quiet and safe. The stuff was easy to deal with and customer-oriented. The interior decor is as colourful and cheerful as you have it in the picture.

Some furniture, specifically armchairs in our room, needed refurbishment or at least a cover: the leatherette was worn out and torn in some places. The rest of the furniture and the mattresses were in an excellent state. The speed of the Wi-Fi greatly depends on the placement of the room. Whereas more central rooms have 30 MGB/c., others less fortunate and more remote have almost non-existent connection to the Internet.

No possibility to cook something. No dishcloth to dry the plates. No bottle opener. The sound of the air ventilation system. Was like sleeping in an airplane.

Big short out to the staff! They made us a warm and lovely welcome, even prepared a little surprise for us as it was the birthday of my partner. If you have any questions or needs, they are always helpful :) Huge plus is the free parking!

The pillows havent been very comfortabel, the mattress was pretty much nagged, and it could have been a bit more clean. You cannot open the windows on the ground floor, you can only open one window just a little bit so it was quite hard to get some fresh air in the room and it causes a slightly moldy smell.

We had an issue with the bathroom as it flooded very badly, the staff were brilliant. Offered us to use the bathroom outside of our room and they were efficient in fixing the issue the next morning at a respectable time. The bedroom & bathroom were both really clean and they also had a small kitchenette with microwave which we didn't use but if we had more time most likely would have. The beds were super comfortable and bouncy. Temperature in the room was perfect - not too hot or cold. Also the decor and overall vibe was very friendly and super convenient to get into the main city of Amsterdam.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was very courteous and discreet, always available to help with any request. The reception is available 24/7, which is very convenient. Although there was no hairdryer in my room, I was promptly provided one upon request. I originally booked a single room, but due to a booking issue, it was occupied, and I was kindly upgraded to a double room at the same price. The beds were very comfortable, and I appreciated the ample space to hang clothes and store luggage. The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the train station and one stop away from Amsterdam Central Station. Overall, it was a nice stay, especially considering I was only there for a few days.

However, there were a few aspects that could be improved. The cleanliness was not optimal; I expected at least daily vacuuming of the floors, but this was not done. The housekeeping staff only changed the towels on the third day and emptied the trash on the second day. Another issue, not directly related to the hotel staff but more to the guests staying in the other rooms, was the noise. Some guests were speaking very loudly in the corridors, even late at night, and more than once, they didn’t close the door properly, setting off the alarm. I’m glad they felt at home, but a little consideration for other guests would be appreciated!
