Wonderful & experienced hosts made this perfect stop worth a bit of a detour. Really setting the standard for a traditional B&B, all details for access and the local area were shared days in advance - helping to put at ease - and with main st location & handy shops (including. Spar), pubs and takeaway + less than 30 mins from Limerick city - highly recommend for area. The exceptional value for money and hearty breakfast offering were also superb! Layered with a historic building, spacious room and luxuries added wherever possible, this charming stay was the perfect one night stay.

*Historical building *Host is lovely and welcoming *Room very comfortable and clean and bathroom has a jacuzzi tub *Lots of little extras such as little chocolates by the bed, biscuits with the coffee and tea or hot chocolate, and a bottle of cold drinking water brought up to the room
I liked everything and had a lovely stay. The only thing I would change is the breakfast serving time. It starts at 8:00 am and that was too late for me as I had to be at work by 8:15 am.

My mother and I had been looking for a place to stay for a concert in Thomond Park. The Old Bank came was one of the few places remaining at a reasonable rate. The owner Miriam was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The rooms were in immaculate condition. We then opted to get the breakfast in the morning which was also brilliant. We even got takeaway container for her homemade pastries! Her attention to the details is A1. It was the perfect spot for our time in limerick.

Absolutely amazing property that is well worth staying at. We stayed for 2 nights and this was not long enough. A great location to base yourself for a few days or more and explore the surrounding areas. Hosts were great with local knowledge providing it in person and in the room booklets. The property has sitting areas by a fire where you can unwind after a long day. Novelty to stay in an old bank where the rooms are named after banking references. The hosts have done a great job renovating the property. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Will defiantly be back and staying for a lot longer and booking directly with the property. Bonus was Clancy's Bar just up the road for your evening meal and a drink. They also serve breakfast and lunch.
Nothing!!!

The Old Bank B & B by far exceeded my expectations. During my many travels to Ireland, I have never stayed at a lovelier place: The accommodations are spacious and comfortable with many additional touches that make one feel welcome and at home. Miriam and Louise both work tirelessly to go above and beyond to meet the needs of their guests and to ensure they have a memorable experience. In the evenings, I especially enjoyed relaxing in front of the fire in the library, chatting with Miriam and/or simply reflecting on my day over a glass of wine. I hope I am able to return one day as my three nights at the Old Bank passed much too quickly. Thank you Miriam for your kindness, thoughtfulness and conceintiosness. In my humble opinion, you are a five star establishment. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Everything exceeded my expectations.

Beautiful townhouse in Bruff. The host Miriam was very friendly & we had a lovely chat on checkout. They have thought of every detail - bottled water left outside the room door when I got back which was very much appreciated, tea and coffee facilities in the room, a separate towel to use for drying after removing makeup, information pack in the room & much more. The room was gorgeous with a big comfortable bed and heavy curtains that blocked out the light. I had a great sleep! Would recommend this B&B to anyone.
Nothing not to like!

We got the last Room available in an approximately 35km around. During Covid so many B&B‘s in Ireland closed forever, but People are still traveling. This place is a true gemstone hidden well in the Irish countryside! We got the Room “Charming Wood” for 3 guests. It is worth to drive from Limerick to stay here. The host is very friendly, even after we cheeky tricked in a booking. The old Bank is definitely one of the best B&B‘s we stayed During our 7 day trip around.

Miriam had delicious pastries ready for me at my table. I had the Irish breakfast which was value for money and of course delicious! Sausages and bacon were from Miriam’s husband who is a butcher. Any uneaten pastries were boxed for me to eat later. The room exceeded my expectations. Amazing 4 poster bed and a spacious room. A lot of thought has gone into setting up the rooms. Cannot complain at all😀 Great service and nice to chat with a local 🍀
Nothing to add

The building was beautifully decorated and full of historical ambience. The breakfast was very good and the extra treats to take with us was unexpected, but muchly appreciated. The owner was just charming and fun to talk with. Very informative.
Not anything really. We could have used a fan. One was supplied but was on its last leg, but it sufficed for my needs.

Beautiful family run Bed & Breakfast. Miriam was wonderful, personable, funny, and very accommodating! Rooms are absolutely stunning. Very comfortable. Homemade breakfast made to order was soooo good, and she even sent the baked goods she made fresh that morning with us as we were too full to finish. Everything is as advertised and we would stay there again in a heartbeat! Thank you Miriam for a wonderful stay!!
Not a thing we didn’t like.
