I really liked this place. Very nice, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Good location, very nice room, onsite restaurant. My window overlooked Macroplaza, a large open air people place on the East. On the West was the central shopping district. Literally walk out the door on either side to each. Monterrey is surrounded by large, beautiful and distinctive mountains and the weather was great. I was in a hurry and didn't get to the restaurant, but I noticed the morning I was leaving that it had a $5 USD breakfast buffet. I would definitely have liked to try it. The area it is in has loads of great local and some chain restaurants. The legendary El Rey de Cabrito, a must try, is a five minute walk. They specialize in grilled baby goat. There are two Mr. Pampas locations in Monterrey, also a must stop in my book whenever I am in Mexico. Both were about 30 minutes away by bus and they are always excellent food and service. These are Brazilian Rodízio style, with all you can eat grilled meats and an extensive salad bar. The hotel wanted to send someone to my room to administer a going-back-to-US Covid test but I declined. I still had places to go, so I went to a 24/7 clinic and was in and out in just over an hour with my negative results. It was about $27 USD. I caught a bus a few blocks away to the second Mr. Pampas. Google Maps is unreliable about bus stops and routes but you can always take taxis. I prefer not to waste the money on me but I was traveling solo. If someone is with me I don't mind splurging on a ride. I had to take taxis to and from the airport. There is no viable alternative IMHO.

I have zero complaints about the hotel, room and staff.

- The location was convenient - Staff was nice. - We got a good view to the plaza.

- Some of the utilities did not work like the ceiling light, the ac unit. - Hairdryer was missing and the window was missing one half curtain. - Lack of outlets - Keycard sometimes wouldn’t work on the door. - Not very modern looking.

A Great location. Nice view from my room....on the cathedral, the park and the mountains. A variety of TV channels . Good Wi-Fi. Breakfast buffet was very good at a fair price. Many restaurants around and a lot to visit in the vicinity.

The cubicle shower is very small...so small that you have to wash you from up to the bottom vertically and tightly...no room for sideways washing or extended arms, I'm serious ! The mattress is a bit too hard and the pillows are not good.

smelled like a dank basement at times. needs air purifiers because the city is so damn polluted, at least the room should be an escape from that

The location is perfect for visiting the central area of Monterrey. There are many restaurants and shops selling all kinds of products so close to the hotel. The staff are kind and friendly.

The elevator 🛗 is a bit older, but it works most of the time.

Like the location where you can walk to church,plaza and do some shopping too

Only 2 towels per room when you rent a two bed queen and have four guests toile paper limited too have to ask for more

The restaurant in the hotel is very good, they have a delicios onion soup, ant the breakfast is nice. Any requets I replay, they always give me a "YES". The location is exceptional, you can take the train and movet arround the city, in mi case, so We'll back soon.

The only issue was...at night I can heat the souns from anether rooms, not to high, but I can heat. The furniture needs some maintenance, to look as nice as new.

Location is great, just across the Macroplaza and the pedestrian street were all restaurants and stores are, is just around the corner. It has a pool and a gym, you just need to let them know when you would like to go to avoid crowds due to COVID.

The bathroom was extremely small. The toilet was extremely close to the wall, very uncomfortable. The pillows were too hard.

The manager Hector always makes sure our stay is perfect! He’s professional and always courteous! We will continue to stay there as long as Hector is there!!

Location was centric. The installation were really good and comfortable.

There was only one thing that did leave a little bad taste. The only thing was the card check in sometimes failed when using it for the elevator
