Very good location in walking distance to beach and Marina. The hotel is ok. One should know, that it is super-easy to park for free on the streets left and right to the hotel (read the signs and keep that in mind), so there is no need to pay a steep fee for parking at the hotel parking lots.

That you could hear noise from other rooms, which doesn't get better, if a small child decides to keep everybody entertained for 2 hours in the very early morning.

Stayed in a room on the top floor, which was cute and comfortable. The location was great. Only a few mins walk to Venice beach and the canals. Close to some hip bars and restaurants on Washington Blvd. Didn’t feel unsafe even walking at night. They also offer a small discount renting a bike at the shop next door.

They charge $5 for a small bottle of water. Didn’t expect this with the price that I paid for the room. Also, on the morning of the departure day, they sent multiple messages to my phone reminding me of the 11am check-out time or I would be charged extra. That’s a bit anxiety inducing.

Location is amazing, right next to Venice beach, canals and area with great restaurants and bars.

The value for money is extremely low. It’s a shame to charge this money for such dated “hotel”. Isolation is very poor so if you get the room with windows to the street then you will have a sleepless night. Cherry on the top- micro toilet, you cannot even open fully the door in the bathroom because it would hit the toilet if you try. Parking 24$ and information that they are not responsible for any damage whatsoever.. I would stay there again only for location.

Very good location, close to many restaurants and beach. It was calm around the hotel, we haven't seen any homeless people and we felt safe. We came by car and there was plenty of space on the street so we didn't need to book hotel's parking (just read the signs and move the car for the sweeping!). Overall very good experience, the staff was very polite and nice.

Walls (like in most of the hotels in US) were very thin - overall it didn't disturb us as every day we were going to bed very tired but when somebody was returning in the night or leaving earlier then it would wake us up. We had a room with windows facing the inside patio - please consider there is a small fountain that you can hear in your room - we didn't mind but noting for others.

This was already my third stay at Inn at Venice Beach. I think it's one of the best places in this area, very clean and good value for money. Has everything that you need. They no longer provide breakfasts but there are many places around that serve good food.

The complimentary wifi is pretty slow and disconnects you every 24h. I would sometimes not notice and use my mobile data by accident and i didnt have much of that. Also, on my last day there was no wifi at all due to power outage. Not their fault but i was there on business and wifi access was very important to me.

The location is excellent, close to the beach and good restaurants. The room was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The staff is polite, and the property is well-maintained and organized.

The infrastructure (both inside and outside) is quite old and seems like it hasn't been updated in a long time. The layout of the rooms doesn't make good use of space. For instance, the bathroom is extremely cramped, and the door hinders movement. The air conditioning is also outdated, and it either cools too much or too little with just a small change in the temperature setting.

For me personally the warmth, friendly faces and ready to help attitude of the staff especially Steffy and Alfonso the lovely people at the reception was the highlight. We had road tripped all the way from Nevada and stayed in multiple hotels but I have to say even though this one isn’t really a “luxury” hotel; the niceness of the staff really does make all the difference: Within walking distance of 1 minute you have a Mexican restaurant and then you’ve got Venice beach like 7-8 minute walk away. So it’s very well located too. The parking lot was very convenient and felt and the area felt quite safe especially when compared with other areas of LA.

Nothing really to complain about.

The hotel is in a very convenient location within walkable distance to Venice beach. Friendly staff and the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. There was also a fridge which is super convenient and a TV with lots of channels. At night it felt pretty quiet despite the walls not being very sound isolating.

Parking is not free but at least the lot is in the same building as the hotel. Kinda slow Wifi. Old-fashioned decoration (not a problem at all though, just personal taste). There's some restaurants on the area but no grocery stores (supermarkets). Also, it's not reachable by public transport so it's convenient to have your own car (or use taxi/uber)

I stayed for 2 nights and found the hotel very nice. There was a little bit of noise from the room next door but that was more to do with the ajoining door which was locked. The room itself was very big and comfy. Its only a short walk to Venice Pier and 10 minutes to Venice Beach. I walked to Santa Monica along the canel and one of the back streets in 35 minutes where there was a range of bars, restaurants etc,

$5 each for the bottles of water in the room. That seems to be the going rate in the US. The same bottle in Greece is 50cent :-)
