Great hotel in a fantastic location ! Room was great , the standard room we had in our middle stay (we came back here 3 times between travels around Japan) had a washing machine which was great , be aware if you book the economy standard no washing machine 😐 This hotel is in the delightful Yoga area on the Den-en-toshi train line , Yoga station is directly under the hotel , 5 stops and you are in Shibuya where you connect to many other lines and the Narita express ! Local shopping area just outside the hotel is fabulous with supermarkets,convenience stores , pharmacy , restaurants and a fabulous patisserie called Flora about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Free coffee machine in the hotel lobby topped it all off ! Hotel staff were always so friendly and helpful! Highly recommended stay , we will certainly be back

The hotel is super close to Yoga station. It is right next to it and takes just a minute to get from the entrance for the hotel to the station! If you exit from the North Gates (北口), the stairwell is designed like an amphitheater. Climb up the right side. Immediately on the right, you will see a police box (交番)。Just walk past that, and head straight down and you will see the sign for Tokyu Stay. I didn't expect the room to have a well stocked kichnette, big washing maching and spacious balcony so I was pleasantly surprised. The room was more spacious than I expected (but I had no luggage) I believe the hotel is a repurposed apartment building. The area is pretty quiet since it is residential and there are plenty of little eatieries around. The "Den-en-Toshi"line becomes the Hanzomon line after Shibuya station so you can take it all the way to Mitsukoshimae station or even further to Tokyo Skytree. The local bus also goes to Shibuya station.

The rooms are not very sound proof especially if you leave the balcony door open. Luckily my neighbors were quiet. I found the carpets to be really dull and stained (though this is not unsual for hotles with lighter carpets.) The balcony didn't have a drying rack. It may have been folded and kept somewhere in the room but I didn't see it.

Location to train station, size of room and amenities (including laundry and fridge inside your room).

Smell and sound. One night I was awoken by a strong cigarette smell. Nobody in our room smokes. The next day it was still there, but less strong. Finally was gone by the 3rd or 4th day. Another early morning (approx. 5am) we were awoken by our neighbor's alarm. They must have kept pressing snooze, because it went off about 5 times every 10 min. It was loud enough in our room to wake several of us up. ...not helpful when you are trying to recover from jetlag.

Tokyu Stay Yoga is a perfectly good, mid-range option. Hotels in Tokyo are expensive and Tokyu Stay Yoga felt like it was value for the money. It's a minute walk from a subway station (a big plus!) and a shopping centre with a number of cafes. There are many more restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Next time I come to Tokyo I shall shop around but I wouldn't be surprised if I end up staying at Tokyu Stay Yoga again and I'd be fine with that.

Location (right next to Yoga Station: Tokyu Lines are amazingly convenient! plus pretty much everything you need in the neighbourhood) Facilities ("home away from home" with kitchenette & ensuite W/D, free coffee/amenities, perfectly good-sized bathroom) Staff (friendly yet professional, both front desk and housekeeping crew go above and beyond everyday!)

Pillows? (I guess I could bring my own next time! hehe) I wish there could have been instruction manuals for appliances in the room (air purifier/humidifier, air conditioner, etc)

From the hotel's location to its whole presentation as an accommodation. Love it all! Will definitely return to experience the triple room.

The housekeeping schedule is a bit unorthodox for me, and on certain days, they leave the rooms unmade. Might be a standard for Japanese business, so don't let this aspect discourage you from staying here and enjoying the place.

I liked the kitchenette. I do like to save money on meals, so having a kitchen is very important for me. I also loved having a washer and dryer in my room. It allows me to take less clothes to have more space in my luggage. I also appreciate the proximity to the bus and train station. Very accessible. There are two supermarkets nearby which is a must.

It was pretty dusty. I think next time I'll bring a swifter.

I loved the location. My son has lived and worked for iBM in Tokyo for 8 years so it's a great location for me to easily get public transport to visit him, and to be a tourist.

The carpet was marked. Last time I stayed at Tokyo stay in Yoga I was given a much nicer room on the 11th floor. I will not book through booking.com next time my son will drop in and book for me. My name was Francine Berkery back then, it has since changed to Turner.

Room is clean, bed is comfortable, pretty spacious for Japan. I had my own washer machine which was great. The hotel is literally across the metro station and around the area theres many options of supermarkets, convenience stores and restaurants. Bonus! They had complimentary coffee ALL day!

The Kitchen pan and tools could be better, not exactly the greatest to cook, but is functional.

The best Hotel I've ever stayed in. There is Washing-dryer machine. So I just start the machine before sleep, and the cloth will be ready and dry the next morning. The location is right next to the train station. There are many supermarket near the hotel. The staff is polite. They provide free coffee at lobby.
