The room was compact compared to typical hotels in the U.S., but as a Japanese person, I found the space and bed size more than sufficient. It was clean, had charming decor, and was well-equipped with plenty of amenities. In addition to disposable slippers, shampoo, tea, coffee, and bottled water, the room also had a mini-kitchen, utensils, and a microwave, which made it convenient to heat up food purchased at a nearby supermarket. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe throughout my stay. Downtown was just a 5-minute drive away, making the location very convenient. The staff was also very responsive. I would love to stay here again if I have the chance!

Great location and pretty new. I did find the price-quality ratio to be on the high side.... I honestly did miss a second chair so we didn't have to eat our homemade breakfast in bed. One toaster would be a welcome addition to the kitchenette

We had the misfortune that the remote control batteries stopped working and the coffee maker did not work because it needed descaling. This was resolved very nicely though with compensation. The cleaning could be a little better, to the eye it looked neat, but e.g. behind the bedside table there was a thick layer of dust.

We stayed at Casa Jardin for 3 nights over a long weekend and it was perfect. Our room was small but well set up so that it didn't feel too tight. There was plenty of space for our bags and clothes, the bathroom was a good size and had nice amenities, and the room still managed to squeeze in a kitchenette. Location was perfect -- right near downtown, great tasting rooms, coffee, and food. We appreciated the included white noise machine, though the street noise was not too bad. Parking on site was easy and convenient. The check-in process was also very easy and the keypad on the door worked great so that we didn't need to carry a key around. I will definitely be recommending Casa Jardin to anyone I know traveling to Santa Barbara!

The room was a bit small but it is as advertised. It may not be perfect for someone with a lot of baggage or if you prefer more space to spread out.

New build and so comfortable. It was a great location for walking to so many fun places.

No housekeeping at all.... you have to request services-which is fine, but for a week stay it was tough to have to ask for a new kitchen towel or a refresh...I never got my refresh. I would recommend to auto refresh on day 3 or 4....I think they cater more to 2n stays. I didn't get a reduced rate for longer stay, so having a refresh treats me the same as short stay guests.

Casa Jardin is conveniently located and walking distance to State Street, Funk Zone, Alameda Park, and Alice Keck Memorial Garden. There is free parking onsite. It was really easy to get into the room following the instructions using the doorcode. The host is very communicative. In the Deluxe Studio, there are a lot of really nice details and amenities including a kitchenette with popcorn and fridge (no freezer), first aid kit, small toiletries, and extra towels. While the space is small, it suit our needs as we did not spend all our time in the room. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again.

The queen bed in Unit 11 was sagging and I saw other reviews mentioning something similar. The mattress is very soft and you tended to roll to the middle of the bed, which isn't ideal for 2 people. We rotated the mattress to try to address the issue and lifted up the mattress to see if any of the slats were broken on the bed frame (found it on Wayfair). The quality of the bed frame fit the price. Aside from the 3 slats that were supported in the middle, all the slats were bendy and bowed easily. Maybe you would not notice if you were by yourself sleeping alone in the middle of the bed. We hope they address the bed issue for future guests. There is no place to sit other than the bed or the chair at the desk, which may be an issue for some guests.

The room was better than I expected, all the details were well thought out to make it really comfortable! It was very clean and cozy. The bathroom was spacious and nice. The location is perfect, within walking distance of downtown. The parking lot is convenient—we left our car there and were able to walk everywhere. The whole approach is great—there's no reception, you simply check in with the provided code. However, support is always available, you can text them anytime. My son and I loved this place very much! The property had very close access to everything, including the courthouse where we got married (only 4 min walking and 2 min by car). It was small but spacious enough. The bathroom is large and the bed was comfortable.

There was construction in the front that would start early, however this was totally out of the hotel’s control. There was a lot of construction on all of the streets on Santa Barbara while we were there.

Super nice stay and cosy, clean and fresh apartment with everything you need. Extra plus for the super silent AC. The hosts are extremely helpful and easy to reach for questions. The location are the perfect mix of quiet and cute Santa Barbara neighbourhood with just a 10 min walk to State Street with shops and cafes etc.

The place is excellent, great location. Easy check in. Parking was great. The room was clean and bed was super comfortable

The shower was a little tricky to work with temperature it got really hot and it wet the whole bathroom the shower door doesn’t seal properly but it’s minor just had to use towels to soak up all the water

The room was spotless and had a lot of amenities that made the room feel like home.

The bed was too firm and the lights from the exterior lit up the room too bright, despite the blackout shades. The host did offer eye masks, but I am not a fan of wearing eye masks at night, but I had to in order to get some sleep.
