The hotel was perfectly located near shopping and food! The room was extremely spacious and clean. Even though seeing the towels in the actual shower on a shelf confused us a little lol.

When I first walked into the hotel to check in there was a young lady sitting in the wait area on the phone and no one was at the counter, of course I didn't think anything about it other than the front desk help must be somewhere else. After standing there for a few minutes, imagine my surprise that the young lady on the phone in the wait area was actually the front desk worker. She came over, and the only words she said were "Can I have the credit card you are using to check-in and she explained where the elevators were located(No good afternoon, how is your day) . All while the person on her phone still loudly held a conversation with her. I wouldn't say she was rude but definitely extremely unprofessional.

There was a reasonable range for breakfast - they honoured our booking which included it but BEWARE, the policy at the hotel has changed and breakfast is no longer included: I wouldn't have been happy with it for the cost. Nice pool area. Friendly staff (except when challenging people about whether they're entitled to breakfast).

The location is at the far end of a big commercial centre - it is walkable to eating places but it can be a little intimidating walking back afterwards. The change in breakfast policy (we stayed at another Hyatt Place before arriving here and they still inc. breakfast, so it isn't a companywide change in policy).

Breakfast was phenomenal! Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious. It was very quiet. We didn't hear anyone above us. Felt safe and didn't worry about my car at night.

Bathroom door was too close to the toilet making it difficult for larger and handicap people to close. No housekeeping was done for our entire stay, so we had to find some place to discard of our bathroom trash and request toilet paper on our last morning there. We stay 4 nights. Also, there are NO free outlets on one side of the bed, so we had to unplug everything on that side. Bring an extension cord, and you'll be fine.

it was clean and comfortable. The pillows and bed were so comfy. Great water pressure in shower. (Much better than the last Hyatt Place we stayed in at Nashville airport!!! It looked unkept, dusty, torn up rug.Frig not working The parking there in Nashville was ridiculous as well.) Hyatt Place in East Memphis had a great breakfast too.

only complaint is that the closet is so small and in an awkward area. There was no microwave in the room, we had to go to the breakfast area to use a microwave.

Great room. It was very clean, as was the rest of the hotel. The room was also very quiet, which was great the last morning we were there because the hotel was nearly full from a college football game in town.

I wish the pool would have been open after Labor Day. We arrived on Labor Day and were told the pool would be closed for the season the next day. Temperatures are still in the 90s in Memphis at that time, so I believe they need to consider that instead of making a blanket policy to close the pool at a certain date. And it wasn't like they had a crew there the next day to stow all of the patio furniture and winterize the pool.

I really liked the location which is in a large shopping area. Loved the bar options and food that can be ordered to cook downstairs.

I ended up renting 3 rooms for our 3 night stay. I asked for room service to have the rooms cleaned each day which was put into the computer. We had to go down each day and ask why the room wasn’t cleaned. One afternoon I went down 3 times asking when were they coming up. Once they took the sheets off but didn’t make the beds up but brought us sheets for us to do. My mother passed away and the last thing we wanted to do was come back to wet towels and making beds after her visitation.

Great hotel with great staff. Very clean.

Small complaint about no upfront info on where ice machine was. At the evening, I went to front desk asking where ice was, she sent me to 3rd or 5th floor. Later, I. The morning someone else has the same problem downstairs and that staff worker got ice by the front desk. Breakfast was busy and made it to where it was difficult to get what we wanted.

The location was in a great safe area. The property was well maintained and kept. Our room was very clean.

The woman at the front desk with the tattoos on her chest was rude and not approachable. When we asked her a question, she looked to be bothered. It didn’t leave a good taste especially when it’s such a beautiful area to be flaunting those tattoos. It’s unfortunate.

Good area, clean rooms, spacious rooms, comfortable beds.

The hotel restaurant/bar leaves a lot to be desired. They have 1 person that works it and they also help checkin as well and they cook the food. So, if you're having drinks and food gets ordered, you may be waiting 30 mins for your next drink. I had a person working the front desk come up once and ask if I needed another, but aside from that I spent a lot of time waiting to order another drink. Also, $7 for a domestic bootle of beer is a bit much. The menu is very limited as well. I will say however the food was pretty good though.

My husband and I visited for my 49th birthday. We were visiting from Georgia. I loved everything about the hotel, staff, location and the breakfast. We will visit again with our children and grandchild. Thank you for your Excellent Service.

The only complaint that we have is that there was no microwave in the room. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
