only allowed to use the spa between 5-9pm ( so andy you arrive you won’t have any time to eat dinner as dinner ends at 9pm) and 6-10 am ( no time to eat breakfast or have any treatments )

beautiful property and location feels very homely

there were a few things, as Champneys are a brand bit disappointing that toiletries were just standard hotel products, they should of been Champneys. bit tacky to have large security tags on robes, I highly doubt anyone would take them, they were over used, rough , clearly no fabric softener had been used, they were very stiff. Rooms are very basic of a premier inn standard, I would imagine . But they are clean. There should be fresh towels by the pool etc or gym equipment.

Lunch, dinner and Breakfast were good however my husband could only have toast and cereal for breakfast as he didn’t like any of the hot options, which were rice, scrambled eggs and tinned tomatoes. I know it’s a health spa but maybe offer poached eggs or beans to be able to have on toast.

Tables in restaurants are worn and scratched so either table cloths or repainted. Service in the cafe was quite slow. We waited for at least 10 minutes for a coffee.

Surpassed all expectations. The most impressive welcome / check in I have experienced. And the outdoor jacuzzi was a highlight! Food was excellent!

If I had to choose something I would say that the accommodation was a little basic and overall decor in need of some upkeep. It didn’t affect our stay though. Loved it.

The facilities. Hydro pool is my personal favourite. Felt comfortable being on my own. I also like the cafe. Had tea there after breakfast. Also liked the view from the window. Nice to open the window in the morning and breathe clean air...

I liked everything. I think it would be nice to have a small fridge or cooler in the room in summer. Most rooms of this standard( and it was a very good standard ) have a fridge

I really liked the wide variety of treatments available and the food menus which catered for all diets. The customer service was also of a high quality. This was the best spa getaway experience I've had. I will definitely be returning soon.

The building looks very impressive from the exterior and when one enters the reception, however there are some areas of the building which need some renovation and decoration, which is disappointing. .

Beautiful location with room overlooking lawns

I asked for a quiet room due to working nights and sleeping in the mornings. The room I had was next to a slamming door. The staff came into my room even though I locked it from the inside to clean whilst I was trying to sleep - waking me up. There was no information in the room about the facilities, breakfast times etc.

First visit to this type of spa establishment but enjoyable

Not so much that i didn't like it but confused as to the dress code, I fully understand that it is a spa but considering the dress code is "Smart casual" it seemed confusing that people were eating their evening meal in the dining room in swim suit tops and gowns. I felt slightly overdressed at one point. Our room was nice but bathroom looking rather tired. Like i say though this is my first visit and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent food too.

It was a fantastic break away and time to relax in beautiful surroundings.

Hard to work your way round the location. There could be more distinct signage particularly in the outer grounds trying to find way in and out. It took a long time and several times of asking to get a pot of tea at breakfast.
