What a surprise!!!! We did not expect much but it was really nice to stay here. Absolutely incredible view, great location, clean, nice restaurant during the day and a hidden gem of a romantic restaurant in the back with stone walls. The staff was so friendly and had a great attitude, singing, laughing, and smiling. It is also a GREAT location to walk into the center. Plus easy parking but it is a small space. They also welcomed us with informative brochures and a tourist card. They also helped us with a taxi. Could not recommend more to stay here or to nominate them for an award.

Nothing really to not like! They should update their photos to better represent how nice it is to stay there. The rooms are simple and small, but that was perfectly fine for us and still comfortable.

Helpful staff. Spacious room that has everything you need. The bed was big and comfortable. The restaurant downstairs is great. Great quality food.

The location is a bit far from the city center and there are some parts you are walking on the car road, but I didn’t mind the walk in the morning especially with the scenery with fall colors. At night though, in San Marino, things close early in fall and winter, so you will be walking back in dark.

This place went above and beyond. I messed up and accidentally booked a ticket to San Marino on Trenitalia (assuming it was the Republic of San Marino). Apparently, there is also a little village with the same name, and I didn't realise my mistake until I was already in the Alps!! My three-hour journey ended up taking 12 hours, and when I finally arrived at Hotel Silvana at 21.30 completely exhausted, the host was so kind and welcoming, even insisting on giving me dinner and wine as 'his guest'. It was the best seafood pasta I've ever tasted. :) Breakfast in the morning was great as well. Lots of cakes, croissants, barista coffee, Acqua Panna, San Pellegrino, etc. Good location, walking distance to all the main sites.

Good value for money. Parking on site. Not too far from the city 20 min walk - but it's uphill. Excellent delicious fish restaurant at the hotel with a 10% discount. Wifi didn't work well on the day we stayed but this looked to be short term. Breakfast was really good! They give you a discount card (20% off) you can use in San Marino, just show it when paying for parking and museum entry. The owner and staff are so friendly and kind.

Bathroom was a bit too small. The Wi-Fi on the day didn't connect well. (could just be a temporary issue) Otherwise a good place with decent prices.

Staff were great, restaurant was excellent (even very helpful in cooking off menu for our daughter). Location to walk up into San Marino old town and the fortress was great - we enjoyed walking up the old train tunnel.

Nothing in particular - yes the room and bathroom were small as noted by other guests, though it completely met our needs and wasn’t anything to complaint about.

Parking was included! Breakfast was good after we finally got a coffee as nobody from the staff was there.

Staff was not that friendly and wanted to give us a room without balcony, however we booked with balcony. After a discussion we did get the correct room finally. We thought the hotel was closer to town however a good 20minute walk is needed. Apart from the hotel itself there are no restaurants close by. As the hotel is next to a bussy street it is very noisy. Sleeping without earplugs is almost impossible.

The staff was excellent and friendly. We received the keys even before check-in. The hotel has a great restaurant with a friendly staff and good food. The location is not right in the center, but it is very close and can be reached by a pleasant walk with a view.

The bathroom is small and needs renovation.

Good location - 20 minutes on foot to the city center (there are free panoramic lifts or you can walk the whole way), absolutely safe to walk even late at night. Good breakfast, coffee and juices. The room isn't big but seems like it's in every San Marino hotel. I really loved the picture of the sky in the room and of course the terrace! If you want a good mountain view though better ask for the highest floor because of the big trees. But I really loved the shade and smell of the pine trees)) Very friendly and welcoming stuff! The lady at the breakfast didn't speak English but she was soooo nice to me and we managed to communicate via Google Translate. They also let me live my luggage and even gave a bottle of water when I was leaving. Thank you all for a great experience in San Marino! Hope to come back!

The room was pretty small but it wasn't a problem for me though. The refrigerator didn't work.

The room was clean and had shutters, so I was able to darken it completely, which was nice. Breakfast was plenty and I appreciates very much that I was able to check in early - thank you again.

Like many guests before me commented, the rooms were a little run down and could use an update. The location is a little far down the hill from old town.
