The managers were very friendly. They gave great advice about restaurants and places to see. The room although small was clean and inviting.. the beds were comfortable. Loved the covered walkway outside. Close to all shops and restaurants.
The walls were a bit thin snd loud talking next door delayed sleep. Maybe a cooking room with stove top and table would enhance the overall experience as nit everyone wants yo eat out and it would keep rooms tidy. But overall we would definitely go back again.

I received a very warm welcome on arrival. We were given great directions to places to visit and recommended places to eat. The room and facilities were fantastic and the kitchen was well equipped. There was a cafetiere and ground coffee, which was a nice surprise, as well as hot chocolate and instant coffee too. There was a wet room shower, with plenty of hot water and nice towels. It was quiet and comfortable for our one night stay.
If you want WiFi that is fast and always connected, this is not the place to stay. Very sporadic and a poor signal at best. Very limited TV channels, if you want to watch something.

Welcomed by the lovely host who was very friendly and showed me to the motel suite. She was very helpful and shared that a great meal could be had at the local pub The Hard Antler literally next door. She was right it was a great meal and a fantastic pub with great atmosphere. The suite was very comfortable and decorated with love. The garden view was lovely and the garden was well maintained. Very nice motel worth stopping at when travelling the west coast.
Loved it all.

Very clean, comfortable, quiet location, very lovely and knowledgeable hosts. The gentleman offered his great knowledge of the area and eateries and even lent my husband a book on the glaciers which he found fascinating. The gentleman’s wife was so lovely too; we enjoyed our chat about NZ and all the wonderful places to visit. Such lovely hosts in the beautiful location of Haast! Thank you both and all the best for your future!
We enjoyed everything.

From check-in to check-out, our stay was wonderful. The two-bedroom was the perfect size for three adults and the bathroom and shower were superb. Loved the water pressure! The location in Haast was perfect for walking to breakfast and to The Hard Antler Restaurant right next door. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking pots and pans and the refrigerator adequate for our needs!
Nothing to note here.

The owners were wonderful. Full of local knowledge and very happy to help in any way. The location was central. Close to the local pub, crepe stall and Cafe. It was very clean and had everything that we needed for a comfy stay. If you are going to Haast, you cannot go wrong if you stay at the Heritage Park Lodge.

Rooms were clean and comfortable The owner (at reception) gave us lots of advice and information about the area, places to go (avoid). She was lovely and her advice gave us a great start as to what we did over next 2-3 days.
As with most of our accom in New Zealand, there weren't any fly screen doors/windows to allow ventilation but keep the sandflies out. This can make the rooms stuffy during the night.

Personally we really like this kind of lodge, the owner is very kind and happy to share stories with you. The grounds are very well kept, the room was super clean and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch out our door. A 2 minute walk is a very good restaurant, The Hard Antler, my venison bolognaise was delicious. Our stay in Haast and the Heritage Park Lodge is something we'll always remember.
Nothing.

Its beautifully located. Very clean and attention to detail was great. Heater made a bit of noise at night but nothin too distracting as they had good electric blanket which kept us warm. Chris ( I think I got the name correct) at the front office is a fantastic person to talk to. He gave us suggestions about things to do on our way to Hokitika and gave a good insight about general life in South Island. So much to learn from his life experience.
Nothing I can think of.

Great location and set in beautiful grounds for a quiet stop over to the West coast. Lisa is friendly and helpful. The room and bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed including good laundry facilities. The pub next door does good fish and chips!
Bathroom a bit tired, but all very clean and well equipped.
