We can self check in late in the night its really useful. There is anything you need (more pillows, blankets…). The room is spacious, there is a sofa so it’s like if you have a living room and a room. The view on the ocean is amazing and the location is definitely perfect to go to see the sunset or sunrise at Nugget Point Lighthouse (20min drive)

The shower is not delimited, like there is no shower box, the floor of the shower is the floor or the bathroom

Fantastic ocean view, you can enjoy the ocean view while having meal at the balcony + star gazing at night. Full kitchen facilities but the nearest supermarket is located at town 20 minutes drive.

Washing basin is quite small in bath room, and two separate taps for cold and hot water. So make us brush our teeth and wash our face at the kitchen sink. Minor issue: box of tissue paper not available

Loved the studio overlooking the seaside garden and ocean view! Great happy hour counter and outside patio!

Did not like the shower putting water all over the bathroom floor. Ideally, you need to have Crocs on. The bed sank in the middle. Otherwise, we loved it! The location was perfect. Walk down to go to the beach to see the sea lions basking in the sun, and take a 15-minute drive to the walking trail to see the Nugget Point lighthouse, and watch the sunrise at 7 am was special too!!

We always try to stay here when we go to Kaka Point, we have enjoyed each of our stays, the service is wonderful, the location perfect and the rooms comfortable, clean, roomy and with fabulous views. The walk up the hill is just what is needed after a wonderful meal and a couple red wines at the restaurant below.

Lovely family apartment. It felt nice and homely and comfy. There were plenty of big windows to capture the amazing view. It felt light and airy. It was good having a dining room table and sofa too. Parking was roomy and easy. We went to the local restaurant which was very good and staff friendly. Need to book in. There is a very basic shop attached that you can buy bread etc so you can make toast for breakfast. There are no other supplies in the area or petrol

Really lovely spacious unit, well set out, clean. Bed and furniture comfortable. Great views of the beaches and surrounding areas. Could see the Nugget Lighthouse flashing in the evening. Ample parking space, plus there was a ramp in addition to stairs, so I could easily move my bag.

The microwave was rather high on the wall.

Spacious room, well equipped kitchenette, bed was comfy, linen good. Warm (it was cold and wet when we visited), but the room has a good panel heater, and there's also heat in the bathroom. Great communication from the owners pre arrival re the local eateries, and we're helpful in arranging an early check-in. Really recommend eating at the local (only), restaurant The Point. The food was great, as was the service. Location is good, a short walk to the beach and a good location to explore The Catlins.

Parking a little way from the unit but not a big issue! We were in a middle unit but still had a Seaview.

Well appointed apartment motel clean & tidy. The jack and Jill bath room very handy for us. Shower exceptional - great water pressure. Cozy, heated in minutes once heat pump was turned on. Kitchenette was useful, small induction hob & powerful micowave.

Could have done with a couple of teatowels. One wasn't enough as needed to go under the drainer...

Very clean and comfortable! Close to the most scenic attractions in the Catlins. Everything one need is in the room. Excellent overnight.

Nothing especially! Maybe the sea views are not spectacular but it’s not what the motel is about. It was as advertised.

Very quiet location, private from other hotel guests, and great view of the point. Walking distance to dinner.

The town was quiet - also good - but we couldn't get a table at the only open restaurant - fully booked, we ate at a pub high table - which was ok. May be good to advise other guests to book early at the restaurant/pub.
