Polite & professional front desk, Very quiet room, good mattress and linen. Clean bathroom with good water pressure. Great breakfast ! free ice before leaving Pool looked very nice, wish I had time to swim. Water felt warm to my feet in the morning.

I liked the owners, brothers Harry and Mohinder. Mohinder personally checks every room after it is cleaned. He called me beforehand to confirm my reservation. I liked this personal touch. The rooms were very clean. The property has a pool, gym, and spa. I got there easily by public transportation. It is a 20 minute walk into downtown. Normally, I am dubious about such inexpensive hotels. However, this did not feel or look like one. The price was fantastic! I highly recommend the Coachman Inn!

The location is good with lots of restaurants within walking distance. Staff is very helpful and cheerful.

Our room faced the construction site right next door and sometimes the noise was a bit loud. Also, the Inn is having a facelift and make it a bit difficult to get out of the parking area.

Great Location, Great variety of restaurants, easy access to the Highway. Staff very friendly and accommodating, room was bright, well appointed, older but very clean and safe. The Breakfast room was bright and cheerful, with a generous variety of options to suit most everyone. Would highly recommend. Great Value!!! Will stay again.

We stayed on the weekend. Very quiet and peaceful.

Outdoor pool was very clean and pleasant with beach towels provided; room was spotless; air conditioner worked well; front desk staff were very friendly and efficient; we had two rooms, and the front desk staff made sure the rooms were adjoining so that was extra nice; parking was free, ample, and right outside the door; rooms are small and basic, but well maintained and clean; 5 minute drive to downtown area; would definitely stay again; good value for the price.

the hotel property is next to the interstate and you can definitely hear the traffic 24/7 especially semi trucks, kept the fan going all night as "white noise" to drown out the traffic (the hotel has three buildings with rooms - we were in the middle building, not even the rooms closest to the highway)

We inadvertently picked the Coachman for the price, as we were visiting our grandson at WWU where he is freshman. Little did we know that that was so close to his campus! We easily went back and forth and he gave us a tour, and then we came back to the Inn to rest. While we were gone, the housekeeper did a great job tidying up our room.

I can't think of anything - but that there was no microwave in the room. But I did see it in the hall way for all the guests to use. But that was a concern-due/to cleaning up spills inside the microwave.

The Coachman Inn was clean, comfortable, and very budget friendly. It had a fantastic location for us, just off the Western WA campus, which we were in Bellingham to view and explore specifically for a future student. We were able to practice using the bus to get to the grocery store, around the Western campus, and to check out the farmers market from this location as well as enjoy a great lunch at On Rice, just across the street! The staff were attentive and kept the breakfast hot and fresh for us even towards the end of their open service window. They also allowed us to keep vehicles at the property while we were out exploring Western. We will stay again whenever we visit Western!

A hot tub with the pool would be grand and sperate shampoo/conditioner for lthose with ong hair would nice too.

Room 100-convenient because I had many in and outs each day. Reliable heating system; black out drapes that worked; plenty of bright lights; plenty of power outlets; comfortable bed, pillows, bed linens; clean bathroom w. working hair dryer, new sink & faucet, grab rails in & near the tub & non-skid mat; furnishings were conveniently arranged. Location was convenient for places I needed to travel to.

One switch for both bathroom light & fan...I prefer separate switches.

This little hotel exceeded our expectations. It's a little hard to know what you're going to get when you pay less than $100 for a room - but this was a steal. Room was clean, beds were more comfortable than expected, breakfast was good and the staff went above and beyond to help us figure out the bus schedule (the bus stop is very close, making for an easy way to get to downtown without a car).

The rooms seem to be in the midst of an upgrade, with new furniture and decor - but the walls still have holes from the last decor, so part of the room isn't the prettiest. For us, easy to look past considering the price, cleanliness and comfy beds.

The Coachman Inn is everything it advertises to be. Clean, comfortable and has very friendly and helpful staff. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms and common spaces have been updated. From check-in to check-out we were pleased with our stay.

The breakfast offered was very sugar/carb heavy. The only non-carb was boiled eggs. At least one other option for diabetics would have been appreciated. The queen room was small but would have been just perfect if it had a side chair. The one in our room was more like a desk chair.
