Read all the negative reviews so took a fan and a light blanket and lots of cold water yes the window opens a smidge but boy is the fifth floor high so my fan worked well. My friend and I arrived to a car park with plenty of spaces, lovely desk staff who were really polite and helpful were offered a twin room so was great to be offered the option, lovely sized room big bathroom which was clean but a little dated but it was functional for a quick shower in the morning we also had a big bath all in all a good overnight stop.

Nothing to do with the hotel but our left side neighbours decided to have a party from 6am still going when we left.

we had a twin room with the red and white flower wall paper and red and black furniture a big upgrade from last times room only suggestion would be to put updated plug sockets next to the bed and a doorstop and 2 chairs lovely towels and happy to see a bath mat, if i had a complaint or worry its all the plastic bottles and cardboard that went in the bin during our stay please can you look into recycling bins in rooms or by lift on each floor we all need to help save our planet and im sure its something to brag about on website and arrival and you can help upgrade you to 4 star rating with little things to help sustainability and lids on bins in bathroom

no bins emptied in the 3 days i was there and no fridge or vending machines on each floor i would of liked a bottle of water to fill the kettle with

Loved the staff- very friendly and attentive! We were able to leave our luggage in their private room as we had a later train after check out which was amazing. The room was well laid out and clean, it had everything we needed for a night and the hairdryer was old school but did the job! Couldn’t fault it for the price we paid. Ps loved the tiles in the bathroom- I’m a fan of old style decor!

Couldn’t fault it for the price we paid. Only thing is that the TV didn’t work properly in the evening but that’s not what we stayed for so it wasn’t a big deal!

The hotel is ideally situated right in the middle of Bournemouth giving easy access whether on foot or transport to all the attractions, restaurants, pubs/bars/University and the beach/Pier.

With the Hotel being right in the heart of Bournemouth comes the downside...it's extremely noisy outside with drunken students screaming all hours of the night and the busy city traffic...small price to pay for the great locality of the Hotel.

Two of the staff we encountered at Britannia were fantastic. The room at the Britannia was fabulous. Breakfast was a good selection, well cooked and tasty. We were able to keep the car at The Roundhouse car park. Both hotels are good value for the money and would visit both again. Covid measures in both well maintained, easily accessible but does not detract from the stay.

We were actually moved to the sister hotel Brittania without notice prior to arrival meaning it took a while to find the booking. Brittania also didn't initially know our breakfast was included. Staff were hit and miss two were particularly polite and helpful but two were a bit too blunt to be classed as professional and erred on rude. Parking at Brittania was limited but not their fault just something to bare in mind.

the hotel rooms could do with a renovation, there’s stains and god knows what in the bath tubs, there’s no plugs for the sink. lifts take too long to get to each floor. the hotel makes money so definitely think the owners need to use the money to sort the bathrooms and the decor of the hotel out.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size. (We were given a family room rather than the double we had booked.) The location is right in the centre, could not be better. The bed was comfortable and there were extra pillows in the room which I normally have to ask for in other hotels.

This is a 3* hotel and as such the furnishings are a bit old and not very stylish. However, it was clean and had everything we needed. We were unlucky as the restaurant was due to open the day after we stayed there (due to pandemic). The bar was open though and the staff were very nice.

We love the roundhouse it's well run the staff are lovely so helpful 😊. The shops around the hotel are great for food from all over the world and if the entertainment is on a great night can be had by all love it. We will be back soon. Thank you all staff at the roundhouse.. also great breakfast and evening meals

Cheap and cheerful, just what we needed. close to bars not too far from sea front. but is quite a walk back as it is uphill. Nice big room shower and bathrooms are fine. quick and easy check in and out.

Nothing, this hotel is fine if you are just looking for somewhere that is cost effective.

Much better than expected having read other reviews. Its very central, big room and very clean, comfy beds, bar area etc. Although its a bit oldybworldy decor, I prefer this to a shoebox modern room

Didn't have enough towels, both mat towel, one towel for 2 people etc but got them straight away from reception. Car park has tiny spaces but managed to get in.
