What a lovely little hotel! Situated in a quiet lane just off the main street in Colico. Plenty of secure covered parking. We were greeted by Jacopo who could not have done more to make our stay fantastic. Genuinely lovely and friendly staff. We had room 204 which was huge and had balconies both sides offering views of the mountains over the rooftops. Bathroom was great - everything spotlessly clean. Simple breakfast but all fresh and very tasty. I was a little worried as not far from the train station and thought it might have been noisy but no problems.

Hotel Villa Colico is ideally situated in a prime location, just a short walk from the train station, the charming town square, and a variety of shops. Nothing really

Friendly and accommodating staff. The room was clean, comfortable and roomy. Breakfast the following morning was delicious. There were various fresh juices, fruit, cereal, yogurt, breads and croissants, jams, jellies. Eggs were made to order. Coffee, cappuccino and espresso was made to order. The hotel is across the street from the tea station and is a short walk to the beach. There are also many dining options near the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay and have no complaints.

Beautiful and spacious room, nice view to the mountains. Excellent staff, really good breakfast, good amenities, good private parking space right behind the Hotel!

First off was a bit uncomfortable with finding out that the train station being right next to the Hotel, but the hotel was very quiet & safe.

Great location, steps to the train station, 5 minute walk to water taxi and beaches. Staff very courteous and friendly, great help with directions and dining suggestions.

Exceptional breakfast in a pleasant room setting. Quiet shaded terrace for a drink from the bar on arrival. The bedroom opened onto a sunny terrace pleasant aspect.

It would be difficult to find any cause for complaint

The service was great. Excellent breakfast, host made fresh tea and coffee for us. When we arrived, host gave our children cake, very kind! Beautiful views of mountains and lake from windows. Room was clean and very large. Nice big bathroom. Very convenient location across the road from train station. Very quiet. Good local pizza shop only a couple of shops away.

Hotel was great. Local restaurants not really welcoming for families, we think because not tourist season yet. We travelled end of March with children.

Perfect little hotel. Excellent location. Staff friendly and breakfast just perfect. Only stayed one night but wish we had booked for a week. Lake Como literally on door step. Train and ferry station a few minutes walk.

The hotel's location is just 3 mins from the train station and all shops and port is very nearby as well. The personal was very friendly, the room equipped by older furniture but everything was super clean every day, the breakfast simple & delicious.

All good - no negative comments

Honestly, I think it was one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to really many hotels (only this month around 15). The location is perfect! It’s 1 minute from the train station and 4 minutes to the lake. The stay was very comfortable as you get the impression that you’re not in the hotel, but at home, it’s very private! The balcony was large and the view was amazing. Cinzia, the lady at the reception, was one of the most positive people I’ve seen in Italy this year! I don’t like coming back to the same place, but I would definitely come back to this city and to this hotel! Personal advice: if you’re planning to take the Bernina Express, it’s a great idea to stop in Colico for a few days.
