Room was modern, very well set out, view over the river was beautiful, showers was excellent, bed was large and very comfy & pillows were perfect for my liking. Staff were welcoming, efficient and professional. The sound insolation to the out side was excellent there was no audible street noise once the big glass doors to the balcony was shut, you'll have a great night sleep.

The lighting in the room, it was way to bright over the bed and I couldn't find any dimmer option not very comfortable when you 1st wake up and you turn the lights on. This is really the only issue we had with the room. We didn't rate the food, it was nice but very average quality for the price you paid, we had breakfast on both mornings as part of the deal and we had dinner on Saturday night which we paid for.. Unfortunately we found that the all the meats were a little over cooled .. Bacon for breakfast was dry, the lamb ribs I had for dinner was over cooked, it was like they had deep fried the lamb ribs. My wife's Ceaser Salad had what we are guessing was the left over bacon from breakfast diced and added to the salad it was very dry and crispy.

Absolutely loved our stay at Bridgeport. We loved everything about it. Friendly, warm and welcoming staff members. The food was delicious, we also enjoyed the buffet breakfast. We admired the design and layout of our room it definitely made us feel like we were overseas. The gym is small but has what you need. The pool was clean, nice and warm - I was so lucky enough to catch the sunrise whilst in the pool at 6am on the dot stunning views and an amazing way to start my day! Check in and check out was a smooth process. It was our first stay and will definitely not be our last we are already looking forward to returning with family for the next long weekend or getaway!!

I found the TV hard to work. Streaming services hard to log on (I already have these services). The keyboard is extremely rudimentary e.g., no 'gmail.com' option. no easy '@'. Can't the Hotel provide things like Netflix and Foxtel? I'm close to 80 and these things could be made simpler. Room extremely dark at night. Needs a night light or at least the switches should be illuminated (black switches on the black wood - hard to locate at night.

We found the menu and presentation to be excellent for both evening meals. Chaira gave excellent service, and had 'insider knowledge' about the Musical Comedy [Stepping Out], which we enjoyed at the Arts Centre.

We received no instruction on the best way to go about the self-serve breakfast but were just given a dinner plate each. As the hotel was unfamiliar to us, we served the hot part of the meal earlier than we needed, so it was cold by the time we ate it. There was no decaf coffee available unless we purchased it at the bar. This also applied to the room where there was no decaf option available.

This property exceeded my expectations. It is in an excellent location overlooking the river and with the bottle shop, Big W and Woolworths across the road. The bistro was excellent from the cocktails to the delicious meals. The children loved that a drink was included with their meal and they had a choice of sweets. My son also loved the infinity pool and our room was so modern, spacious and clean. The service in every area of your hotel was fantastic and I would definitely recommend your hotel to anyone wanting a getaway or travelling to Murray Bridge.

The hotel/ facilities were great.

We didn't like the communal use of body wash, shampoo etc... Understanding the hotel may be trying to support Aussie business/ perhaps save money... It will cost you a hell of alot more in legal fees if someone decides to put bleach in the body wash or hair removal cream in the shampoo. Just get small, good quality disposables and make all of the comfort kits (shave kits etc) available in ALL room types. Save the wine, robes etc for the more expensive rooms.

It's only 45min away from Strathalbyn where we live but sitting on the balcony watching the sun set and rise feels like you're in the country far far away. We just love staying there. Love the breakfast package with our room booking too. Our meal on Friday night however was extremely disappointing. We paid $38 each for 2 steaks and they were the worst steaks we have ever had. Really very upset about that. One of the staff members while ordering our meal was extremely rude which made is feel very uncomfortable. We felt that uncomfortable ordering our meal that when the meals came out and were terrible we were too worried about going back to the bar to tell the staff about the poor meal.

Description was completely incorrect. Described as a suite with separate bedroom with two beds and separate living area. This hotel does not have any rooms like that. We deliberately booked this as one guest has a medical condition where they need to get up during the night to attach to a pump device which is noisy, and they therefore need a separate space so as not to disturb their partner. The bathroom has no door either. Hotel was not aware that Bookings had made such a big error in description. Hotel was very apologetic but could offer nothing to help

Riverview balcony suite was gorgeous, brilliantly styled for maximum enjoyment of the view. Really clever, with bathroom sliding doors so one can set one open and shower enjoying the river view - or the train traffic. A lot of thought has gone into every aspect of the design. And then there's the pure comfort of the bed and the room. Oh, and the TV menu is a good as the quality of the image. Room service is bliss. The place is just ace.

Nescafe sachets as morning coffee. Ugh. Why? And why is there no brew coffee to be had? Softer bedside reading lights might be nice.

Excellent hotel. Clean, modern, spacious. With the best hotel pool we've ever seen. The restaurant room service was so good we literally ordered all our meals in. Staff were super friendly and very accommodating.

The only downfall would be the bed. And maybe a lamps would have been nice to have as another option instead of the bright strip lighting or the down lights. The mattress was a little sunken in places, and the pillows were very big. Perhaps a suggestion would be have 2 x big pillows and the option of 2 x smaller ones too, instead of all big. I ended up using the decor pillows as the other ones gave me a neck ache after the first night. It was a little uncomfortable to sleep, but apart from that, it was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in.
